Not working for me. Anyone get it to work on the N6?
Nobody with an N6 has reported it working so far in the Xposed thread. Kinda frustrating that the most important Android phone out is the only one that can't seem to get it going.
Rovo89 says, Note that this is still an alpha version and for Lollipop on ARMv7+ devices only. Please install it only if you're willing to take the risk of boot loops. Just because it's working fine and stable for me doesn't mean it will work for everyone the same way.

nope not here but wont be long by the looks of it
There's a second upload that works on the n6. Check the op. But it only works after a soft reboot for me, if I do a full reboot it won't work.

See thread in n6 general. Yea you have to soft reboot to have xposed run after you are in permissive mode for selinux. Its the only way right now. If you full reboot, xposed runs before selinux is permissive
Would love to have it was excited now disappointed. Owell guess I'll wait it out along with everyone else

That's likely your kernel not allowing it to write to system. I could be wrong though but this happened to me on jellybean.

You don't need a second link download the two files. Download selinux make sure you set permissions to permissive. Boot into recovery flash framework, boot up install xposed, reboot into recovery again install framework. If it does not active do a soft reboot in xposed

What modules are actually working on our gadget please?
I got RootCloak working. To verify this I opened Soft Card before Xposed was installed and it detected root. After Xposed was installed, I then installed RootCloak, checked the box in modules, added Soft Card in the app. Then I went back to Xposed and did a soft reboot. Then I rechecked Soft Card and it worked!

It works, but I did not get the results I wanted. It may be the way lollipop handles things, but i tried to get the tablet style settings by picking a high resolution and it worked but was all crammed in the middle. So...the xposed module works, but lollipop may give you some trouble.

Hey everyone, me again! So with Android 4.4 out for the Nexus 4, I thought some folks might need a little help installing it, or maybe just need a visual aid to help. So I made a How To video. Hopefully it helps some people :fingers-crossed: If it does, maybe hit that "Thanks" button?

I have an easy root fix for once you update to 4.4 if you have Mac
I modified the Root.Nexus.4.zip file for Mac on here, updated it to CWM 6.0.4.3 image, and SuperSU 1.65 image. Just unzip, and run the Root.Nexus.4 terminal shell script with the N4 in fastboot with USB connected to the Mac, I think you can use a similar script for PC and prob need USB drivers if you don't have them already. Hope this helps
I'm unable to post a link on here since I'm a newb, PM if you want the link to the zip
Thanks
Another build available here : http://www.androidauthority.com/android-4-4-kitkat-nexus-4-nexus-7-download-unofficially-313352/.
Flashed this in CWM, everything, including root is absolutely fine. (I flashed SuperSu 1.65 zip). But for the proper google experience, have to wait for the factory images.
The lockscreen widgets functionality (except for the camera widget) seems to have been removed, can anyone find that option anywhere?
Edit: Lockscreen widgets can be enabled in Settings->Security.

Hey all,
Found this on dhacker29's Twitter, been using it for a couple of days. It's pretty much the same AOSP 4.4 that we already have from EvanA and koko98, with one big difference. Autorotate and Camera are both working!
I figured I'd share and also hope that this can be used by other devs to get it working in their builds. I've also included a link to dhacker's gapps package, I've used both his and the PA gapps without issue.;
AOSP 4.4 rom: http://t.co/9mSQtIRoO7
Gapps: http://t.co/o4wzxsfkig
Just to be clear, this is not my work. I am just spreading the news. All credit for this excellent build goes to XDA member dhacker29. For those of us that are using his rom, it would be a good idea to thank dhacker29 for his work.
Just find one of his posts/threads on XDA and click a thanks for him. This is a pretty cool and very functional rom to have so early in 4.4 development.
EDIT: koko98 has built a CM11 that also has working rotation and camera. Here's his link in the dev section: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2509905

How? I have no TWRP, and I can't get TWRP because all of a sudden my PC no longer sees Nexus 7 at all, no MTP, so I can't access that and even when I properly reinstall all the drivers and enable USB debugging, it doesn't detect any ADB devices. It just gives me Windows beep beep sounds when plugging it in, but that's it, other than that it's useless. I should note that this started happening just after I installed Kit Kat (100% pure install), and I should add that I'm running Windows 8.1
Other than this, the ROM is very good! Well done developer.
If this is such a great ROM shouldn't it be posted in "Original Development?"

It's not posted in development because the dev, dhacker29 has not opted to post it himself. It's up to the dev or a designated maintainer of a rom whether or not to post it in development and provide support for it.
I found this rom and decided to post it as a way of sharing dhacker's work with the community. Besides, what does it matter where it's posted, if it works for you and you like it, use it. If it doesn't, just don't use it.

U will notice difference when u use V4A with Expert Ui mode setting. Battery drain, i dont worry.
I've tried it on Candy5 ROM as well as daleski's nightlies, but it doesn't seem to work. I look at the driver status and it says it isn't active. Also, every time I open the app, it asks me to install/update the drivers when I clearly did already.

What is the best setting for the oneplus one? At times I feel the speaker/headset and bluetooth volume is too low. Thanks for the help.
There is a nexus 6 thread about a zip you can flash. Might be easier if it works.
Damn, changing to permissive and still won't install drivers. Anything else that needs to be done (I disabled nuplayer already). Thanks.
You need to make sure all other FX audio mods are disabled. Next use Power Amp enable FX in music settings and make sure you disable tone and equalizer. Remember you also need busy box installed. As far as in Viper you are flashing and do not have any other version installed. Lastly some ROMS already have SE Linux set to permissive, and in Viper options try compatible mode.

I'm guessing its bcoz of previous flashed mods. If nothing works, try to switch to compatible mode in V4A setting.

Just follow 5 simple steps.( no zips required to flash).
1. Change Enforce mode to permissive mode using SeLinuxmodechanger from playstore .
2.Disable experimental "nu player" from development section search "nu" you will get disable it.
3. Disable Audiofx app.
4. Now install viper4Android and install driver ( i user superior audio ) .
5. Reboot.( and experience the amazing sound).
Couldn't find anything on this, but apparently people are having success installing xposed framework on the nexus 6 without having to soft boot every time to get the modules to work.
If anyone has had any success with this, could you please provide the process how to.
Thanks

I usually prefer Franco but it seems in his quest for insane battery life he has somehow sacrificed performance on this phone as the UI is a little more stuttery. Does have better battery though. Also with that flashable zip above, I tried it, but the hack never seemed to launch in time for xposed to see it and I would have to soft reboot anyway. The lean kernel method works great and its an awesome kernel.
There's elementalx kernel too, which is great. There's a whole thread in N6 general about what you can try.

2 things.
1. This is an old thread and was due to the requirement for SELlinux permissive on an old alpha of xposed
2. Nexus 6 does not have an sd card slot, ergo, the ONLY place for apps is "phone" anyway

You will need something to switch it to either enforcing or permissive. Which ever one it calls for. Not all roms are set the same. Never found a use for it myself but there is a thread in the apps and themes section.
