Dear everybody,
I'm in a kind of a last resort state here. Here i have an international HTC one M7 UL(S-on) wich i can't get to work. all i see is the ''HTC quitlly brilliant'' logo and then it goes straight into the bootloader. Same goes if i try to reboot or go into the recovery. Tried flashing a new recovery but with no different result.
This all happenend after the phones battery and usb port where changed. Since the guy did this himselve there is no warrenty. Its not a daily driver device but i would like to get it to work again(if its possible). looked all over the internet and XDA and tried lots of things but non of them seemed to work.
the device always had a custom ROM (ADRHD) and runned without any hickups.
If somebody here knows a solution it would be awesome
Thanks in advance
Flash appropriate firmware.zip matching cid and mid.

Hi guys,
I've been looking around a bit but unfortunately I did not find any solution to my problem
Well, I'm a newbie and I got my desire c last december.
Basically since I got it, I've been flashing loads of different roms and never had a problem with it.
Yesterday, I wanted to try the cm10 and I started having difficulties: I got a bootloop after flashing it.
I said "no problems", I tried to reflash it and got the same..then I decided to change rom.
When I changed I had no problems at all..well till I decided to turn off the phone.
Here is the situation I'm stuck now: no matter which rom I decide to flash I always report the same problem, when I turn off the phone I'm never able to turn it on again (when I turn it on I can see the htc logo and only a black screen after)
how can I resolve that? Please I need some help

I'll suppose you tried clean flashing. Check which kernel you are using.
You need to use CM10 kernel for CM10 and Sense for the Sense roms.
If its the correct kernel, try a lower clock frequency.
If you havent tried clean flashing:
Dirty flashing can cause a lot of errors so i suggest that you perform a clean flash.
If you get this error again, you should try to post a logcat using adb. There are guides on how to do that all over the web.
I hope i helped, and if there are any further questions, ask away :3
ommicsiy conduted
thanks for the answer!
well actually I did a clean flash..
and it can't be a matter of kernel since I tried different roms with different kernels and the problem is the same..
tomorrow after work I'll try the logat and post it
since I was not able to do it trough adb (-waiting for the device- for about 30 mins..)
I flashed again a rom and used catlog.
here is the outcome!

Hey guys, first post here.
So I've been reading around this forum and all over the internet and can't find a solution to this problem.
Sprint HTC ONE
S-on
v31.120.274.0617
I had CyanogenMod 10.2 Nightly installed but I was getting some serious network connectivity issues (I've seen others run into this problem as well). Not knowing what to do because I'm still fairly new to tweaking with phones, I tried to go back to the stock ROM. To my dismay the stock ROM backup was now gone.
I thought "no problem" and downloaded the stock HTC one sprint variant ROM and flashed it. Here is where my troubles began:
TWRP said that it had installed correctly, I rebooted only to get a black screen. Now all I can get to are TWRP (which I had to reinstall to get to) and Recovery. This would normally be easy to fix by just flashing another ROM. But when I connect the phone to my computer it makes the connection noise and nothing shows up. I tried using adb commands to move a new ROM to the phone but every command I have tried just comes up with (no device found).
I also tried using an OTG cable and thumb drive with a ROM on it and TWRP says that the thumb drive is empty (it is formatted correctly).
If anyone could give me a hand getting out of this I would very much appreciate it.
This is now solved, if you are having a problem similar to this, check your drivers then contact bigdaddy619.

Im not sure if this will help, but if you can get into bootloader mode and run the appropriate RUU.
Or you could do an adb sideload.

Hi Everyone
I humbly approach you today with a HTC One issue, that needs solving as I have no phone as a result.
So to put it simply I Unlocked and Rooted my device through this guide .
/watch?v=kJYAS2KN17Y
Following that I proceeded to gain S-OFF, or at least I believe I did. Checked the Bootloader after and it said S-ON :S Through this guide.
/watch?v=NeFwsqU4YL4
All seemed well up to this point, so then I followed to this guide to install 4.4 KitKat on my HTC One (I am based in the UK, and the network my phone runs in is O2).
/watch?v=AySbx90YB-s
However as it turns out, my phone will now turn on, I will reach the default Android Language Selection menu, and my phone reboots automatically before I can even press anything. I have tried to re-install the "bigxie_Reset_M7_3.62.401.1.zip" several times, and nothing has come from it.
So I attempted to restore my stock HTC rom, using the "RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.7_Radio_A4.13.3231.27_10.31.11131.05_release_310878_signed.exe" and it fails every time, and it also detects no image when I run it, it simply shows what image it will install.
Additionally I tried all possible USB ports on my computer to check for a faulty USB port with RUU, I have tried to push "Guru_Reset_M7_3.62.401.1.zip" through CMD (I am running windows of course) and naturally it hasn't worked (the push). Having not made a Backup because I blindly followed the tutorials, I have nothing to go back to.
I think the problem is that S-ON is enabled and I can't seem to find how to solve it, or enable S-OFF using the AIO Toolkit and pushing Revone. Anything that could help me get my phone working, and hopefully with stock Android will be greatly valued. Thank you for taking the time to read this .

I am not so good at android but.......a way to S-OFF HTC One would be using this video - /watch?v=MCMJkVbIiIg
It basically uses rumrunner to do so and for me it worked flawlessly
Hope you can fix your One soon.
FIXED!

Thank you for replying guys!
I actually managed to fix it by pushing TWRP instead of CWR and then installed Android_Revolution_HD-One_31.6.zip got my OS back and now trying to enable S-OFF.

Gratioz!!!!! Good luck for getting S-OFF.
I used rummrunner to get S-off. Works like a charm. Takes a bit of time to do it though, don't close it whilst it's doing it's thing!
Received a warranty replacement for my HTC One (M7), which is a brand new handset running 4.4.2 and sense 6.0. The wifi on the device will not turn on at all. It just looks like it is continuously trying to start with no way to stop it. My last two of the same phone had hardware issues and I am hoping for an easier fix than sending it away again under the warranty.
So far I have tried:
- Factory reset
- Tried to boot to recovery to clear the caches, but it just goes to a black screen
- Toggling between Airplane mode (as suggested on some forums)
- Tested setting up as a portable hotspot. It goes through the steps and completes, but then just says that the feature is still switched off
Any help would be appreciated. I would rather not flash a custom rom, but am open to the idea if needed. If this is a hardware fault and needs to go away under warranty I would be better to find out now and send it off sooner.

Have you ruled out the possibility of it being your Router ?
have you tried to get wifi in different areas ? If it never connects to wifi anywhere it's most likely a hardware issue. I have never had a wifi issue with dozens of different software configurations. Unlocking the bootloader may void your chance of sending it back
If you dont want to send your phone back, i`d try to make a factory reset first. If that does not solve your problems, s-off your phone, install a custom recovery and flash a custom rom from xda. If that makes no difference try to flash a different firmware (that matches with your phone!!).
I hope that helped.
Good luck and if you have any questions, feel free to ask in this thread. :good:

In the house we have multiple tablets, computers, other phones, Chromecast, etc etc. My previous HTC Ones never had any issues with my wireless. The issue remains that the wireless on the device will not turn on at all in order to search for or connect to the WLAN. It just says "Turning on.." indefinitely.

I was hoping to avoid installing a custom rom this time around (had the stock M7 Google rom on previously). I may try a new rom just to rule out hardware issues. It's sounding more and more like Im going to have to return the phone...
Hi, im very new at this , so i tried to root my frieds`s phone and installind viper one rom , i already tried this with my HTC One m7 and it worked perfectly but when i ttried the same steps on my friend`s phone (also an HTC One M7) i only managed to unlock the bootloaders, when i tried to install the rom with TWRP the rom dind work, i tried to wipe the cache in order to erase the corrupted data but it didnt worked.
After investigating a little bit on the subject i learned that the phone was bricked and i think i accidentaly erase the OS.
so i tied to find the RUU to make a fastboot or ADB stockreset. but i coudnt find my friend`s phone RUU. (his ID is 5.13.595.1). I tried all the forums, and webpages with RUU and i coudnt find anything
so i tried something else , i tried to push the rom or a system backup with ADB but it did nothing as well.
Now i`m with no ideas , and starting to panic, this never happend to me before and i need help with:
1)finding my friend`s RUU
2) if anyone know how to solve this inb any way
3) to figure out if this is a softbrick or a hadrbrick
thanks for u time and your help:good:

Please provide the following info:
post the output of "fastboot getvar all" (do not post the IMEI and S/N)
post the outpuf of "adb version"
What version of TWRP is installed on the phone
What version of viper rom are you trying to install
What OS is installed on the computer used to flash the phone
Please answer all question, this will make the troubleshooting much faster.
