Hey guys,
So I updated to the latest version of Android for the HTC One (M7)- which is Lollipop 5.0.2.
Whenever I receive a message, my phone vibrates. AND keeps vibrating until I clear the notification.
This is ridiculously annoying. Are other users also experiencing the same problem? And has anybody found a solution to this?
Is this a software bug and we simply wait until Google rolls out another update?
Please help! Thank you!

Accessibility»notification reminder OFF ..
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Free mobile app
Got the same issue after upgrade.
My quick solution, is to block every app that generate notifications.
This is done under sound and notifications.

Recently.. Whenever there is a received phone call.. When I answer it, the loud speaker is activated by it's own.. I don't know why.. It didn't do that before.. And it does that only with received calls.. Simple as it is, but it's really annoying and quite embarrassing.. especially when I'm in public transport.. So, any one knows how to fix that.. Or what is the problem??

It seems that the latest Chrome update causes that glitch, so try to uninstall the updates for it and if it still doesn't work, disable Chrome, restart phone and then use another browser till this is solved another way (another Chrome update that restores functionality).

We have 2 other threads about this issue, looks like is happening with almos everyone, so like our friend above said, deactivate chrome and clear you phone app data and cache, doing this your problem will be solved.
For what it's worth I deleted Chrome using TB and the problem persists, so it might not work for everyone.

You might be right, for instance, I still didn't disable Chrome, and got three calls today, everything was normal.
What I have disabled though, is Socialife and Smart Connect. Some users mentioned that after a phone restart, only the first incoming call goes to external speaker, the others are fine, after the first call.
Only thing we're sure of, this seems to have started happening to most of us at the same time.

After the recent update my touch screen has become slow. Sometimes I have to touch it twice in order for it realize the word or app.
Is this a bug with the new update? Is anyone having this problem?

My wife's phone is exactly the same, very slow to respond and even turn on? Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve (apart from wiping - she would go mad!)
Thanks in advance

Hey!
I'm really fed up with this phone. I'm personally never buying Sony phones ever again.
However I think you have to wipe the phone through Sony PC software. After that it works just fine.
Do you by chance get fluctuating reception?
I've read too many issues with the lollipop update for the watch, so I'd like to stay on 4.4w. The only problem is the annoying update notification showing up on my watch. Is there a way to get rid of this ? Thank you.
I know there's a way to block the notification on a rooted phone. Maybe it's somehow possible on the rooted watch too?

Hi,
If it can help you, i have really less issue with 5.0.2 than I had with 4.4w. And indeed, battery life is really better.
You really should try to update it.
You're the first person I've heard with a positive experience with it I'm afraid.

Guess what??? You're the first one telling me that the 4.4w is stable!!!
I had so many problems with this one, battery draining like hell, endless disconnection /reconnection, synchronisation pb... It really frightened me
Well I had to send the watch back because of the flickering screen issue, so it's moot now unfortunately.
Yesterday I got an update of the HiCare app which I've never really used so I decided to open it up, clicked Update and what did i find? Nougat, EMUI 5. So I decided to do a quick video for beginners over here:

Thank you. Worked like a charm.
Sleek and butter-smooth Update. I am going with BLACK AMOLED BATTERY SAVING Theme

Hello,
could kindly let me know the build number after the update? I manually updated to nougat a couple of week ago and i'm on EDI-AL10C233B320, and i was wondering if it's the lastest
Edit: nevermind, just find out that there is already a b332 version.

I just got mine and the update was sitting there when I did my first bootup. So it's hard for me to tell BUT this is the best phone ever and The Google Voice Phone app is working. I heard it didnt work but I've had mine for 3 weeks now and it has worked each time I used it to dial out.
Fingers Crossed and if someone is STILL having problems with the GOOGLE VOICE not showing the GV number on the receiving end, just access it through the browser and dial the number through there and your phone will ring and when you ANSWER, the other end will start ringing and ur GV NUMBER will show up.
Dudes, i just received the phone today, and the Spotify app keeps constantly closing here. Do any of you guys have the same problem? Is this an android problem or phone hardware problem? Any fix for this?
I'm using Spotify daily, didn't notice any weird behavior. Did you patch to September update?
Friend, after you receive the device and open the box it is recommended to update the system of the same and then do a hard reset to avoid small bugs like that.

Did you check the app permissions? It closes the moment you run it, give it a try.
