Samsung dialer for oneplusone? - ONE Themes and Apps

I would like to know where can I get the Samsung S4 or S5 dialer for oneplusone?

On a Samsung device.
I dont think its possible to port dialer from samsung due to tw framework.

you could try exdialer as an almost similar replacement for dialing functions of swipe to dial or message, if that's what you are after.
dont forget to add the 2 most important plugins - missed call plugin and vibrate on call connection plugin after install.
Regards

Buy a Samsung .....

I too loved the simple dialer and contacts app integrated in one ... can it be ported? or any similar replacement.

Sumit's Omnia II/Pro Ultimate Samsung Messaging FIX :)

Hi Friends,
If you have been using a Samsung Omnia Pro or Omnia II for a while, you know what a pain in the *** is the Samsung's SMS/MMS application, also known as jinbox. This application is dead slow and takes huge amount of memory if left running. Almost 99% of the people I have seen want to get rid of it somehow.
In the past, some developers, including me, have released various fixes for this problem. For example, my Omnia Messaging Switcher application, which lets you switch between the native SMS system as well as Samsung messaging system. But all these utilities fail at one thing or another. You have to choose between either having faster, native SMS app and loosing MMS capability or keep both SMS and MMS functionality and take the pain of using that monstrous app.
Now here is a solution to all of your problems!
This small cab will install following fixes on your phone :
1. Your messaging application will be switched to Native Windows Application. The "Message" shortcut will point to this, and there will be a separate shortcut named "Samsung Messaging" for accessing the Samsung sh*t if you still want to use it for some reason.
2. In the SMS account, on clicking New, you will get 2 options instead of one: SMS or MMS. On creating SMS, the default Windows Native SMS composer will open just the way you like it. On creating MMS, the Samsung composer will open, without loading the whole Samsung Messaging App. The MMS sent and received by you will be perfectly visible in Sent Items/Inbox and perfectly editable/viewable, even in the threaded messaging view.
3. The E-Mail shortcut's icon will change to a better looking one and if you are on default settings, tapping it will show the list of email accounts to choose from.
All in all, it will seems to work just like it should smile.gif Let me know if you guys face any issues. Its working as it should on JC2/JE2 default and my custom roms, at least on my phone.

[Q] Missing Phone app on my AT&T GS3....need help

I installed the Rocketdial app on my phone because I can't stand the dialer on the SG3. After installing it I found that the native dialer was conflicting with Rocketdial. I looked all over my phone for ways to disable the dialer and lucky me, I completely disabled it....now I don't have the native dialer app at all! I can see it in "Application Manager" under the "All" tab but it isn't in my app drawer any more. I uninstalled Rocketdial but reinstalled it because that's the only way I can make calls but I can no longer find the native contacts app either. Because I can't access the native contacts app...I cannot edit contacts through the reinstalled Rocketdial. Please help! I really don't want to restore many phone because it took days to get it the way I like it. Thanks
RocketDial is not conflicting with stock dialer, it uses some features of stock dialer ... I guess you need the phone application back to your phone .

[Q] I need a better dialer app

When it comes to making calls, I've always been more of a number dialing person. I only look through the contact list for the people I call less often. And back in my old Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus, the dialer app had this cool feature where I would put in 3 or 4 numbers and it would autocomplete the rest.
The stock dialer of my Moto X (4.2.2 still, didn't want to jump to 4.4.2, might switch to 4.4.3 later) does NOT autocomplete my numbers, which is very inconvenient.
is there a good dialer app out there with this function? Hopefully one that does not steal and upload my contact list into some server.
Thanks!

Just a heads up, (although you probably already know this) 4.4.x onward does have the autocomplete dialer.
Regardless, if you're looking for a solid dialer app, I can recommend both Dialer+ and exDialer. Both are nice replacements.
Just a heads up though, if you want dialer+, you need contacts+ which "isn't compatible" with the Moto X (at least mine). You can download the apk here.
ExDialer seems exactly like what I needed. Thank you!

[Q] Is there a settiing or an app to make the contacts easier to use

I'm now to my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact after using the Samsung S2 and S3. The thing I loved about both the Samsung phones was when I pressed the contacts icon to send a test all I had to do was swipe from right to left on the contact, likewise to call the contact all I had to do was swipe the contact from left to right.
Neither of these functions are available in my Z3C.
Is there a setting of an app that will give me that functionality?
The built-in backup is fine and I'm not interested in syncing with facebook etc just want a quick way to send texts or call from the contact list like the Samsung.
try tapping the contact's picture from the list, it'll open a popup with shortcuts for calling/texting/whatsapp etc
thanks but just tapping the contact will do the same thing, either way not as simple as a quick swipe on the contact to actually call or text the contact.
I'll keep searching through the google apps store.
well you can try ExDialer just note that the swipe to call/text option isn't activated by default and needs to be activated from the app settings

Replace standard contacts / dialer?

Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the built in dialer and contact app with the standard Google app?
Also, does anyone know if it's possible to configure Gmail so that when you press a phone number it automatically opens it in the dialer?
Amongst other things these are two features I miss from my recently departed Nexus 5.
Thanks all.
