Should I be doing a full wipe? Could I possibly try just upgrading? Am I in danger of a brick if I don't un-root first?
Thanks!

Chances are small that you'll get bricked, but when going to another major version of an OS it's highly advised to do a full wipe.

There is no problem with warranty. You unlocked the bootloader? If not, then your keys are intact.
No i did nothing yet about flashing. I want to keep my Z3C "clean" . But i'm still a little bit scared cause some people got bootloops on downgrade :S

For safety, exclude TA in Flashtool when flashing the ROM to avoid losing Network
If I Helped, Leave A Thanks!
So with the ChainFire method listed in this forum to root the S6, will I be able to update with OTA updates? First time rooting this way without installing custom recovery etc.
If not able, what will be the easiest method when updates come out?
Thanks in advance
Nope. You have to unroot or flash original t mobile firmware.
To take the ota you need 100% stock plus stock recovery.
Odin back to factory T-Mobile firmware is the only way

You can reflash stock firmware using odin and it will not delete data unless you manually do a factory reset. You should be good to go.

Thanks! Have rooted and deleted some bloatware and am waiting for the new firmware to fix the lit Flash LED issue. I just really don't want to go through the backup process for all my data and apps.
I want to erase the phone and start over.
What is the quickest way to do so?
I would like to keep root but dont want to really use odin to flash kitkat first. Is there any other easy way?
Thanks

I am already on Lollipop. How can I reflash lollipop so I can have a clean phone again with root?
I am assuming I cant go into factory reset because I will lose root and it may even fail.
There is no safestrap for lollipop is there?

Did you do this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59666958&postcount=2 to get to lollipop? If yes, then you can access Safestrap. Not sure if you would lose root doing a factory reset or not, so I would just flash the zip file from same post in safestrap.
Hi all, I just got back from basic training at Fort Jackson, I had rooted my phone before leaving and now I want to go back to stock, looking around I haven't seen anything and the one I did see was taken down due to hard bricking. So is there any way to go back to full stock Unrooted.

I would recommend using the LG flash tool and flashing the 10n kdz.

Yes, you can upgrade from the 10h to 10n, but you should not downgrade from 10n to 10h as there is a rollback flag that will prevent loading the stagefright vulnerable 10h and brick your phone.
