Installation of the rom aborted - Motorola Atrix HD

I am using an Atrix HD with CM 10.2. I tried to install CM12 for MB886 but it says that my phone is XT925. It's strange because the CM 10.2 I have installed was for MB886. BTW I tried to install CM12 for XT925 but the installation is still aborted but now because of the bootloader. What should I do to install CM12?
Thanks for the reply!

What recovery are you using? That could be the source of the issue.

Wipe system, flash the CM12 from MB886, XT925_jbbl, or xt907 (i think that's photon Q's number) download pages.

I believe is an out dated recovery issue.

Can anyone test to see if audio is still really low on recordings, at work soi can't test lol
Unlocked the bootloader, wiped system/cache/dalvik/factory reset, booted into SafeStrap and flashed, but won't boot, only black screen
The SafeStrap i have was installed before the bootloader being unlocked.. this is wrong?
Yes... Very wrong.. Every 2 days one of you guys man. Can't yall just read first? Safestrap is for locked bootloaders only. To use the new roms you have to use cwm.

Arrgghh Kernel Issue

A while back, I tried to flash Arrgghh's latest CM 10.2 kernel (Aug 21) on CM 10.2 ROM. I ended up with a black screen on reboot, and now I'm a bit wary about flashing it. I didn't clear Cache and Dalvik Cache beforehand though, is that reason why? I've been wanting to flash this kernel on a lot of the 4.3 ROMs but I'm kinda scared after the last time and need some clarification. BTW, I got the kernel off of the Photon Q 4G LTE thread. Also, under what conditions can a custom kernel hard brick your phone? I was under the impression that kernel flashing can't hard brick, just fastboot a different boot.img, right?
I'm running it fine on the latest pac.

Where did you download the kernel from? If it works on PAC it should work on any other 4.3 ROM, right?
I got my file from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1893050

As long as none of the versions of his CM 10.2 kernel are able to hard brick my phone, i'll try out different ones and see which I can get to boot.
New Aug 31 build of the kernel is running just fine for me, Wheatley governor is great!

Kernel Info Not Updating on Phone Specs

Hi,
I'm using Maclaw Cyanogenmod 10.2 and have flashed a few kernels but the kernel info never updates in the phone specs, it stays at . I wipe the cache and dalvik and flash in CWM. Am I missing a step or is this just a bug in the ROM?
Thanks.
I noticed that but assumed the updates were for cm10.2. I'm running cm10.1

There is no such thing as a difficult rom, if you were smart enough to root and install twrp on your KFHD7, then you'll be fine with any rom , installing a rom is easier, all roms are good for any beginner or expert. The kitkat rom I'm running at the moment is Hashcode's CyanogenMod 11 latest build and it is definitely stable.

Oh cool. I'll have to try that. I installed CM 10.1 (Hashcode's latest jellybean) and it was stable, I thought KitKat was still early days.

Take your pick http://forum.xda-developers.com/kindle-fire-hd/7-development although 10.1 is not the newest Jelly Bean ROM. If you want to stick with CM try cm 10.2 There are so many great ROMs though.
