Confused About Specs - One (M8) Accessories

I'm a little confused about the specs for this case.
Says it's for a "2014 HTC One 2 (m8)-
do they mean the Mini or standard?

It'd be helpful to have a link about the case you are talking about. Based on that description I would say its for a HTC One M8. HTC One 2 is what people thought it might be called before it was revealed. If a site still lists that, do you really want to buy from it since it has info that is over a year old (and not entirely correct)?

Looking for a HTC universal

I do not know if you guys do not like this sort of post but if you do just say so and I will delete it.
Anyway, I am looking for a HTC universal. I am looking at ebay but I thought I would ask here first if anyone has one they are willing or want to sell.
Keep up the great work on it all. I can't wait to have a mini-linux laptop for my pocket

I have one that I bought on ebay last summer. I fell hard for the Polaris so that's what I'm using now. Anyway, I've been meaning to put it on ebay since I got my new toy but time doesn't allow. As much as I love my UNI, it's too huge for me!!! Just PM and let me know...
By the way, I'm willing to part with all of the units listed in my signature except my two lastest, Nike and Polaris.
Yes, HTC has made me become an addict for their phones... I mean computers that can make calls
Talkin' about Universal, does any one of you know, if i can get the outer panel/cover of my O2 XDA Exec replaced. Is there any such accessory available in market ?

Touch HD "End of Life"

Quite quick compared to the other HTC models, the Touch HD is now listed as end of Life and available till end of stock (which ran out) at our supplier.
Lets hope the HD2 and the other models I saw that look like it and have comparable specs come out soon.
1st of April was yesterday ;-)
I wish they were joking, I had 10 of them in order ...
"the HD2" w00t?
i think it's true
Don't you realize that this had also been the case with any other HTC devices? Look at kaiser. When it first came out, I was like "Dude, this is definitely the best PDA ever, it has everything!" I got a lil disappointed for not getting any "significant" updates from HTC (as far as OS and all the tidbits like drivers are concerned). BUT, thanks to this community with all the smart people cooking ROMs and developing applications, everything worked out nicely until I sold that kaiser. I personally think, HTC is obligated to say BIG thanks to xda-developers, because without dem, I would've returned my kaiser 3 days after I bought it and there was no way I would've bought blackstone.
PS: Even my lil' brother's using my Hima from 6 years ago, now running WM6.5! How cool is that?

Is there an economic model to declare it eol within 6 months of its release? Even with HD2, there is still a market for HD (not factoring in the crisis and remaining stock).
Doesn't make sense to me.
Deem -- after reading that htc doesnt offer good support to their devices I think that my next device Wont Be HTC!!!! Anyways I Would realy want something with Nvidia Tegra -- and HTC wont be one of them!!!!

Do you believe everything what you read? If so, you can read now that HTC offered "good support" to me. They fixed my Hermes 2 years ago within a very short period of time, no questions asked.
The touchHD 2 is the firestone. Google it

No I dont, but a lot of people do and that is confusing...
2 years ago aint the same as now, but WE WILL SEE if HTC will support Touch HD!!!!
I think it's ture....
since HTC started the pre-order of Diamond 2 in Taiwan...
(no price until the end of the month)
so.... that's reasonable enough to stop manufacture Touch HD ?
Its funny how some people are contemplating if its true ...
But anyway, I found that quite a few companies that sell only phones and their accessories have stocked the HD at the pre-"end of life" price change and are now selling it at 480€ excluding BTW/VAT/TAX
Considering how great the HD runs with Roms like the Dutty series I'd say that, if you visit XDA, you probably won't mind using custom roms and the HD is a great device to use, even if HTC had shipped it with an OS that had no features and crashed all the time.

Need some suggestions..

Does anyone know of any good phones coming to T-Mobile by December 2010 of this year? My upgrade ends in December, and I really want a new phone, lol. This G1 is started to become really outdated and I was selling some stuff to Walmart to make some money and saw they had phones like the Nexus One, HTC HD2, etc that are all better than the G1 currently. Do you guys think I should get one of the current phones out right now and if so could you suggest one, or is there a promising phone coming by the end of this year that I should just wait for? Also how much would it cost to renew my 2 year upgrade since it isn't up yet? Thanks.
http://phandroid.com/2010/04/16/what-phone-are-you-getting-in-the-next-4-months/ Something to check out, HTC Incredible on Verizion. But then again Verizion is cdma if I'm not mistaken...HTC Legend looks slick also.
Thanks for that. Seems as if T-Mobile is only getting that Samsung Galaxy right?
ill name some. ummm htc desire, htc hd2 mini, htc g3, htc snapdragon
G3? Is that new G1 or something, lol.

[Q] Was it worth the swap?

Right, so I had the HTC One X, and it developed a camera fault, where the camera did not work at all!
Phone my carrier, and they said they would send me a new one. Called me back, said they didn't have any in stock, so they offered the HTC One silver instead. Bare in mind I only had the HTC One X since last September (2012).
I made a quick search while I was on the phone, and thought this looks cool.
So I haven't really done my research on it as of yet. So thought, what better way than ask you guys for your thoughts on the phone?
Is it worth swapping these phones? What are the advantages? And the most important question, how is the battery life compared?

HTC One - Buy it now or wait? Ubuntu touch?

Hey there
So, my HTC 8x is about to die, I guess, and I am looking for a new phone. With Ubuntu touch and all comming up, I think the HTC One is the best piece of hardware out there currently (also I love the design). The only thing I don't like about it is the price... it's still around 450€ where I live.
So, me, never paying attention to price developements, was wondering if it makes any difference if I buy it now, or wait until "The All New One" comes out.
Also can anyone give me an update on the Ubuntu touch developement progress for the One?! - I only find very contradictory comments on the Internet - some say, it's almost done, others claim it will never happen.
Or do you say the One is crap and I should go for another phone? I really want to try Ubuntu touch, so that's one of my priorities, next to "flagship-hardware"

I have the HTC One and it's great.
However, if you're looking for something at a lower price, why don't you check the Nexus 5? It's for sure the best value for money.
I think it's also better for unofficial development (even if I can't complain with the One).
As fas as I could find, it's better supported by Ubuntu Touch (but never tried).

Bro, the HTC One is an AMAZING handset and my personal favourite of 2013. The speakers and design and build quality are lightyears ahead of the Nexus 5. But, the 2014 edition of the One will be released on the 25th of March. I say that the updated One would be something you should definitely wait for.
Regarding Ubuntu Touch, Canonical isn't really doing much at the moment. I guess that once they release a phone with Ubuntu Touch, the OS will be ported to the One. There is a port for the One. It lacks connectivity though
Thanks
I know the One is an awesome piece of Hardware the Nexus 5 not so much, a friend has it, and it feels really cheap.
I will for sure not be going to buy the "The All New One" - I bet it's going to be even more awesome, but I'm not willing to spend 650€ on a new phone...
What I was actually wondering is, if anyone knows how the release of the new One will affect the One's price - I have never payed any attention on price-developenemts, and so I'm asking you And I don't mean used deviced, but new ones from Amazon or something...
(Also does anyone use The One without Google? I do use google mail, calendar and contacts, but I don't want them to know about every step I make...)
