Android 5.1 T mo - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone have T mo 5.1 update yet? And how is it is the memory bug gone and audio fixed? Can 5.1 be ported in a Rom to work for AT&T?

Why would anyone had received the 5.1 update? Not everyone had received the 5.0.2 update yet and nothing announced for 5.1.

I think you meant 5.0.2 and yes the 7.18.531.2 RUU was posted by HTC.

I did mean once 5.1 is out and merged. I thought the 5.1 was out for tmobile right now. But im on ATT version.

The 5.0.2 update was just released yesterday for T mobile m7.
No m7 will be getting 5.1 anytime soon, except GPE.
5.1 was only just released today for the Nexus line.
No way it would be integrated into a Sense rom until at least 90 days or more from now.
Not sure why you thought that, but I wouldn't wait around for 5.1 sense anytime soon.

[Q] Android 4.4.3 on Sprint Moto X?

I saw on around June 20 that Sprint was supposed to be rolling out the 4.4.3 update to the Moto X. Yet I haven't gotten it, nor have I heard of anyone else who has, nor have I found the OTA uploaded anywhere. Does anyone know the deal?

Motorola and Sprint stopped the 4.4.3 update because 4.4.4 came out. We should be getting a 4.4.4 update soon.

No OTA, but you can use the TWRP Backup of 5.0.1 on your XT1068.
Here's the post:

Nobody know, even Motorola or maybe they just don't want to tell us.
However you can check this page to get news about the update to your device:

Probably late January or Early February. XT1068 will probably shoot straight to 5.1 since that update is due soon with critical bug fixes for the Lollipop Memory Leak!
So Its 5.0.3 or 5.1 for XT1068. Whichever comes first. Its highly unlikely we'll see 5.0.0 or 5.0.1 on XT1068
I think It will be straight 5.0.2, since they are testing 5.0.2 right now, if my sources are reliable.

OTA 5.0.2 when?

I keep reading that Motorola has sent out the OTA 5.0.2 update for the pure edition. I have yet to receive anything. Am I missing something here or is it actually not out yet....
Where are you reading this?
Its released for china only... I hope Motorola skip 5.0.2 and release us 5.1 soon

Android 5.1.1 question

I got the 5.1.1 ota yesterday, but my friend hasn't and we live in the same city. How does google roll out the OTA's ? Is it randomly ?

Right now, it seems to be based on the build you're currently running. So far it has been for T-Mobile build (LMY47M) and Sprint (LMY47D) also international (LMY47I). If you're not on one of those, no other OTA's have been pushed. But in short, yes it is random. Can take 2 to 3 weeks for full roll out.
You're special and he's not worthy
Got mine with Rogers in Canada

[Q] Official 5.1.1

Hello!
I currently saw two variants of official 5.1.1 (1 for T-Mobile and 1 for Sprint/USC).
I'm wondering if I can install this to my Nexus 6. I'm using the international variant.
Thanks
And why the rush? What do you think you are going to gain from 5.1.1?
also waiting for 5.1.1 they fixed a battery a bit there so device will work a bit longer)

Use the Sprint build.
I'm resetting up my unit from scratch every update so I was thinking that after I setup my Nexus 6 on 5.1.0 for hours the 5.1.1 will come out. So it'll be a waste of time.

Is that the official build for the international variant or just a workaround? Thanks

That is the build that international users have reported getting as an OTA.
