How to hard reset - Huawei Ascend P7

Hi. So I just flashed a boot img (or something like this) to root my P7 B609. After I rooted I changed softkeys with SoftkeyZ but I forgot to backup the softkeys (now i'm stuck with the ugliest softkeys ever); installed xposed. I want everything back because my camera doesn't work, Youtube doesn't work and all these kinds of programs. So I think I need to do hard reset to restore everything to my factory stage. If im correct how to do hard reset? Hope you understand me, sorry for my noob question and bad english..

first you must flash the stock boot.img of b609 (if you changed your recovery, this too)..
then put the b609 update.app in the folder dload on your sdcard..
after that turn off your phone..
then press power, volume up and down together (all three at the same time)..
hold them until the screen shows a circle with the EMUI writing and release the keys..then let the update do the rest
after that you should have a fresh b609 on your p7

THANKS! Can you give a link for the boot.img please (p7-l10) ? Cant find it nowhere.

get the huawei update extractor (can be found in p6 themes and apps section)..
then select p6 and load the b609 update.app in there..
there you can extract both boot.img and recovery.img (these files should be copied afterwards to the adb folder)..
then do the steps i mentioned before

[URGENT] Stuck on B609 PLEASE HELP, SO LOST (not a complete noob)

I flashed B609 CWM Stock from XDA from B813 and it worked fine then reset to factory
Now on B609, I cannot flash B621 OTA, Stock or Incremental at all, just fails at 0%
I tried with stock recovery and cwm and twrp
I always get the "cannot execute the file from zip" usually because of the build.prop, even removing the checks from buildprop, it fails at 3dmodem folder
I checked the build.prop with Build.Prop viewer and all the inputs such as build, model etc is correct
There is no motion control tho, but keyboard and wifi works
I really dont like B609, very slow
I want to get to B815
Can anyone help me completely redo my phone????
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
Thanks in advance

If you're talking about the power, + and - volume then yes I have tried that, each update of B621 never goes past 1% and it says it cannot execute the zip

Well, of course it cannot execute a zip file - there should be an update.app in the dload folder.
So try with B609 stock recovery, with an extracted update.app, and everything should be fine. I'd also try a factory reset before flashing, just to be sure.

The zip wont execute when its the incremental OTA
Update.zip in the DLOAD folder doesnt work either, even tried a factory reset

Unzip the update.zip file - you just need the update.app inside.

What is the recovery you are using? Try flashing it from here, then three button method (VOL + and - and POWER). You could also try to flash B609 and its CUST partition first, and THEN the 621 OTA.
BTW if I were you, I'd wait for the official Lollipop since this one is not stable. It eats more RAM out of the box, and openin applications freeze the whole system after a few months. I just reverted back to B609 because the phone couldn't even play music without waiting for 30 seconds for the Play Music to load, then pressing the button, then waiting, then start, then crash, then start over and pray.

Help needed

Fellows,
Please help me in my problem,
I was on b817 recently then I decided to change it as it has many bugs,
Finally I get to b800(transition from),since then I'm stuck on it, I can't downgrade or upgrade always I get " there is no update.app " message though the from is in my Dr load folder. I tried to update/downgrade. Through update apk and 3 buttons method but all failed.
I'm running everything stock I never tried to modify anything and I'm not rooted. I sent Pm to some senior members here but no one has replied me. I'm a noobie member if anyone would help please on how to get this problem sorted step by step with links to required programs please.?
My customs is 433 ??
Hello, is the file located on /dload at your SD card? Did you extract the update.zip first? If yes/ not try it with(/out). If that all fails you could extract the update.zip and flash all images manually through fastboot.
Yes it is In sd card root.. but to go for b621 or b805 we have to put the update.zip file in dload without extraction..
I said I'm noobie Here I don't know what is fastboot and how to flash anything through it ???
I happened just like you B 817.After the downgrade puts B621 UPDATE.APP on dload folder in the phone memory or SD card, turn off your phone, press simultaneously + and - volume and power button and the phone will write a alone software B621.I hope I helped you. Before that make one factoey reset plz.

I assume post #6 here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3211971) already answers your question. If that doesn't work like it should, I could describe more detailed what I thought of, sorry.

How to flash through boot loader?
What application do I need to flash it?
Sorry for that but I'm noobie..??
First you need to set up your PC correctly. I assume you are running Windows.
So, download and install the HiSuite to get all needed drivers. Then follow this (http://dottech.org/21534/how-to-ins...ows-computer-for-use-with-your-android-phone/) instruction, I recommend to use methode 2.
Now shut down your device, press volume- and power at the same time. You should boot into the boot loader (white background). Maybe the device has to be connected to the PC for that.
Now you could follow the instruction in the link in the last post of me. Since you booted manually into the bootloader, begin with the fastboot command. (All files that are going to be flashed have to be in the location you put the fastboot-files (as described in the link) in.
I hope this is understandable. If not, feel free to ask!
Well, many thanks for your help,
I've downloaded all applications required on computer.
I'm planning to roll back to b621(already I have the zip for it).
Then what to do exactly Or what to write in fastboot menu ? (sorry I'm complete noob. ???
I think (but I'm quite not sure) that B621is instead of beeing a full firmware just an update. So I'd recommend to use B609 as full (!)version. Maybe you find the B609 stock recovery somewhere to download or you have to extract it with the huawei-update-extractor (just google and install it).
Download also the newest versions myrom and twrp, save the twrp file and the B609 stock recovery in the directory of your adb folder, the myrom on your sd card.
Now you boot your device into the bootloader. How to do this is described in my last post. In big letters the status of the bootloader is showed up. If its locked read the xda thread about how to unlock and continure afterwards.
Type into cmd (how to open is described in the adb tutorial): fastboot flash recovery [name of recovery.img] for example 'fastboot flash recovery recovery_twrp.img'.
After that unplug the device and shut down trough pressing power for some seconds.
Press volume+ and power at the same time and you will boot into the custom recovery. Here you're gonna flash the myrom.img.
When that is done you should flash the stock recovery with the same procedure like you did with twrp.
Now you could flash the B609 with the dload method.
I'm sorry if this all is a bit messy, I'm just writing on my phone and I'm a bit tired..
Victory.....
Many thanks for your help I'm on b621 now.
Nice, your welcome?

[P8 Lite] Updating the huawei p8 lite when it rootes

Hello, what going to append if i update my rooted phone on B136 to B170 because i readed that if i update with OTA Update my phone can go in a bootloop. Thanks for the answer.
It might be possible. Do not update ota when you are rooted. Download the latest firmware from huawei-updates.ru for your specified model, take the zip into your sdcard in a folder named dload ( you can create it if you dont have it) and go to updater, local update and select it.
Thanks ! and like that I'm not gonna have any problem ?
And and I can directly go to B170 or not?

Keep it in that folder and try to force update by powering down your phone and power it up pressing vol up+ down and power button

No problem sir, here to help
Nooo! don't know why but my phone go to a bootloop.... tried everythink....
Hmm, try to plug in it an usb cable and flash an old firmware for it trough adb.
Can you give me some link to do that ? and thanks !
U need adb toolkit, a version of b170, search on huawei-updates.ru , prefferably the european version. Get huawei package extractor and extract from update.app found in the zip of b170, system.img, cust.img, boot.img,recovery.img. and flash them one by one in fastboot mode. If not, if u had a nandroid backup made with twrp u can restore. U can search google on a detailed guide to do that, as I may induce you in error, not a native explainer talent here
Or you can extract it and flash automatically all in one clic with a script(for all firmware )

I got to beta 6.0, installed twrp, root it, but it did not permanently, uninstall some system app (google+, maps, etc) after a few reboots superSU was asking for binaries; so I unroot it.
How can I get back to stock recovery? And if so, If I make a factory reset, would it boot correctly for a new setup (because of the erased apps earlier).
Thanx mates, regards

[FIX]Marshmallow BOOTLOOP

OK people, so i bring another (hopefuly helpful to someone) exprecience with BOOTLOOP.
Problem: I had stock B200 firmware (5.0.2). I wanted to try beta update of marshmallow, so i decided to try it. It was told me i can update directly from B200 one, so i just copied update.zip to DLOAD folder, went to settings and run local update. The phone restarted, booted into recovery and started flashing. BUT, i forgot that i had custom TWRP recovery and not stock one, anyway, TWRP started flashing the zip, error after error, but some files still copied and bricked the phone. I couldnt start any recovery, just fastboot and some mode that should download online file and reflash system, but it would be very easy so it has error too.
Here is what i did:
1. Download the update zip of marshmallow you were trying to flash and unpack UPDATE.APP
2. Extrac: RECOVERY.img and BOOT.img
3. set phone to fastboot mode and flash extracted BOOT.img, then RECOVERY.img
4. after that, you need somehow copy whole B200 firmware into sdcard / dload folder (i took micro sd and inserted into another phone, then copied it)
5. now you can boot into force flashing mode (power + volume up + volume down buttons) and it automaticaly reflash whole system.
6. after reboot you can use your P8
OK, i got it work!

NEM-L21 bricked, bootlooped after trying to go back to 6.0

Dear XDA members,
Maybe someone could help me.
I was using the beta Nougat on my 5C (7lite - NEM-L21) and I decided I would like root. I installed Nougat TWRP and went well then I've encountered problem when installing supersu.zip - data problems, so I googled (damn google specialists) so I wiped system and DATA. I left myself without any operating system. So I managed to instal Lineage 13 for P9lite-Honor 5C.
But no, that was not enough, I tried again to install the beta update + patch for NEM-21... And thats it no more Lineage 13 no more nothing. After that I have installed TWRP through ADB and I could not go into it. So again google - I managed somehow to install original B132 firmware (before it I installed recovery taken out of B132) and it go through installation with success.
Unfortunately that's it - phone stays in the HONOR logo and nothing more - ah yes I did clean to factory through Honor original recovery.
Can ANYONE help me solve my problem, or you think it's a lost cause?:good:

Unfortunately should work doesn't apply to my case
I will have to send it to Service in Huawei.
If anyone encounters my problem please use method passed by fellow xda member y4c1ne .
1- Extract the update.zip from this thread, u'll find an Update.app. Open it using huawei update extractor, and then extract BOOT.img, RECOVERY.img, SYSTEM.img to adb folder.
2- Boot your phone into bootloader (shut it down, press volume down - then connect it to your computer)
3- Flash the files extracted from UPDATE.APP using these commands
Code:
-fastboot flash boot BOOT.img
-fastboot flash recovery RECOVERY.img
-fastboot flash system SYSTEM.img (this will take some time so be patient).
Again thanks for help: y4c1ne
