Hi,
I recently installed the lolipop update and while it was updating it crashed,the error sign came up.
Since then the phone keeps rebooting. i tried to enter the boot menu by pressing the power button and the volume buttom.
All the functions there do not work.
How do i go about it ?

Device is stock or rooted? If rooted do you have a custom Rom and/or recovery? You need a stock Rom and recovery for OTA updates.

No recovery mode but there is a safe mode which supposedly disables 3rd party apps on boot.
Press power button and you get the power off/airplane mode/take screenshot screen - long press power off and you get the option to reboot into safe mode.
Repair the phone with Update Service or Flashtool, delete al content from external SD and internal too...do a clean,fresh install.

Is there a way to save my current firmware? I'm asking this because the update firmware seems have some problems, so is there any way to save my current firmware before going to repair phone with Update service?

After i install this rom.
How do i boot into recovery. I have tried the volume down and power but does not work.

Stock Sony firmware doesn't have a recovery like HTC or Samsung. You need to root and install a recovery.
We cannot get into the android recovery mode because its not in the factoy version of the phone as the bootloader is locked in the factory version so try installing cwm custom recovery

Hi, so you are saying there not anyway to reintall room stock without entre the setting when the phone is turn con?
every version of android have diferent way how to enter into recovery ... mostly its presing some buttons serveral time wheh you power you device...
try vol up , down , camera or some combination .... if you have recovery you will find a way to start it

I did many way and nothing. Now I am downloading with sony software update tool

I flashed resurrection rom on my moto g 2014 successfully but the touchscreen stopped functioning. Then again i flashed back stock rom and now my phone is stuck in 'bootloader unlocked' screen and even the touch is not working. I can open the recovery menu but cant do anything coz touch is not working. I am stuck please someone help guys

Go to fastboot mode by press and holding power and vol down and and reflash stock lollipop rom with correct commands and it should work ..!

i did that but stuck in bootloader. I cannot wipe data by recovery as touch is not working. and i ried to flask stock again bt it is also not installing.. is it a kernel problem??

Nope not a kernel problem ..
Make sure you are entering correct commands and you're flashing the correct zip for your model and try again it shouldn't happen coz it is stock their will be no problem..!! Make sure you're flashing the correct zip ...
Recently purchased an AT&T Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 (SM-T707A) & was trying to flash a custom bootloader + root not realizing it could not be done. I am unable to use my tablet now because it says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
I've tried searching for the stock AT&T firmware for this tablet & cannot locate it anywhere to flash it back to normal. Can anyone help me figure out how to solve this problem please?
Hold POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN to restart then immediately change to VOL UP whilst still holding the other buttons to get into recovery then clear cache.
Reboot, all should be well.
Never mess with the locked bootloader on these devices.

Thanks for the reply, but I was able to unbrick it by using Kies 3.
Would I be able to root the device by using King Root & flashing a custom rom?

i unlocked my Bootloader and flashed twrp using adb,
but when i now try to enter twrp i get to the screen:

and there i get stuck because is does not boot ,
i waited for 10min but nothing happend.
I can still boot the phone normally by entering the fastboot mode and rebooting it from there, but i can't use twrp to install cm13 .
I tried this https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/how-to/trouble-entering-twrp-t3541212 but it did not work.
Just press volume down and power button to enter fast boot, then flash stock recovery, reboot , afterwards try unlock bootloader and try twrp recovery again, for ease use srk tool 2.0
I just solved the problem, somehow i was using the wrong TWRP version because my P9 is running nougat but thank you for the answer

sadly you're not able to flash anything except some special supersu version, because of some reasons (the missing decryption support i guess?).

Found a way around the problem: I downloaded Magisk, used that to unroot. Enter recovery via Rom Manager. Trying to boot to recovery using volume + and power button only work 10 - 15% of the time.

Button combo works everytime if u do it right.
Hold both keys until the Huawei Logo dissappear and it will work.

can you lead me into the version of the twrp you used ? i have nougat too and installed the latest twrp there with no luck
you used orginal recovery from twrp. me? rom manager download this recovery. Unlock bootloader again. Flash b136 from twrp 3.0.2.0 after flas b136 with dload folder after b182 and b210 after unlock bootloader again and update to nougat.

I unlocked bootloader, installed twrp using fastboot and then as you enter reboot command, you need to hold volume up and power button and hold down to avoid going to standard recovery. It took several attempts to do it (re-installing twrp every time), but worked on C432383 which is Nougat
Well it looks like you actually have to hold power + volume up when the phone is off and release all keys 0.5-1 seconds after the screen lights up with Huawei logo / text to boot into the custom recovery or else it will just boot Huawei eRecovery...
My a2 is unlocked, critically unlocked, Google camera installed with temporary magisk root . It is now no rooted, unlocked, ota upgradeable. But it has stock recovery with no command. I have flashed stock room 9.6.10, 9.6.13 & 10.0.2, but can not fix. Pls help me how can I fix stock recovery with no command issue.

AFAIK the stock recovery of the Mi A2 is only capable of OTA updating via Android One. If you want to do other things with it, you must install a custom recovery which should also be capable of OTA updating.

In stock recovery ("no command" displayed) press power + volume up, this will show stock recovery menu (which is IMHO nearly useless except for factory reset, which can be made from Android or fastboot too).

Same issue here. In recovery mode it shows "No Command"
HOWEVER, I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET THE OTA UPDATE!!!
This means that the stock recovery has got wiped off. How do I get the stock recovery back?

Press power then immediately vol+ buttons to get into recovery menu. It's about timing you press between those buttons,. For me sometimes can take several time trial before success, in other time it enter menu immediately.
