hey, i had on my s4 active jellybean 4.2.2 and i installed NEE nordic countries firmware for lollipop and it worked perfectly then i decided to download kitkat 4.2.2 for nordic countries too and it worked then i was having issues with wifi and notifications and after trying several ways to solve them without anything working, i decided to downgrade back to jellybean.. i downloaded the official one that was on my phone which was XFE - XXUAMF7 but when flashing with odin it stoped at aboot.mbn failed (auth) and i searched everywhere to solve the problem,i tried wiping and factory reset and battery off and runing odin as administrator doesnt work.. its either the file is corrupted or i cant downgrade after having kitkat/lollipop.
then i found a thread which stated something about knox and android versions above 4.3 does not allow downgrading unless its the same country/carrier...
is this correct?? should i download 4.2.2 for nordic countries and try it?
am on limited internet bandwidth and am running out of gb so i would like to know if NEE 4.2.2 firmware will be flashed successfuly? and if not what are other solutions??
note: after flashing and getting the aboot fail (auth) error," i get flashing firmware has encountered error, try using kies to update" but kies states that it does not support my device. so i flashed back to kitkat and it worked. however i insist on downgrading it.
------
odin mode when flashing and getting the error:

Hi,
I use a Galaxy Note GT-N7000 from 2011 until now. I never root, and not touch any other aspect of the device. I receive only the official firmware update and now have the ICS 4.0.4 as last version.
The info of the device is:
CSC: XEF
Baseband: N7000XXLRB
Build: IMM76D.XXLRI
My question is: if I change with *#272...... the XEF code to OXA, for example, this mean that after reboot I can get the OTA or KIES update to 4.1.2? I only like update my device to 4.1.2 without root or any other complicated procedure.
Thanks in advance!

if you change your csc to another country it will not give you update for that country. also if you change your csc it will factory reset your phone. You can always install latest 4.1.2 by flashing philz kernel first (it will automatically root your phone) do the wipes on philz kernel and then put the phone in download mode and flash the stock 4.1.2. After flashing you will have stock rom of your choice with stock kernel and no root.
for root:

for download stock rom and procedure:

Due to root exploits being blocked in newer bootloaders, i downgraded from lollipop to earliest 4.4.2 i could find on sammobile.com.
I am in UK but could only get firmware from Austria: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/d...0ATO1ANE2_ATO/
T800XXU1ANEB_T800ATO1ANE2_ATO.zip (Open Austria ATO):
Model: SM-T800
Model name: GALAXY Tab S 10.5 Wi-Fi
Country: Open Austria
Version: Android 4.4.2
Changelist: 1704207
Build date: Sat, 24 May 2014 02:12:09 +0000
Product code: ATO
PDA: T800XXU1ANEB
CSC: T800ATO1ANE2
I thought kernels before june 2014 might be vulnerable to root exploits (according to Geohot: Towelroot) and decided to use stock firmware bvefore june 2014. I tried the rooting process about 10 times before it worked given that it uses exploits from the cloud. I used the latest KingRoot app (english version). It works and knox is 0x0.

I have an UK T800 running stock kitkat v4.4.2 and have tried the android version of kingroot 4.1 and the pc version and neither worked for me, after 5 min it says no something found, no reboots or anything, and my knox was still 0x0

Avoid desktop version as it installs custom recovery which will trip knox if rooted that way.
Kingroot works on earlier version of 4.4.2 kernel before root exploits were blocked. I am in the UK too, and i had to downgrade to firmware with kernel made in may 2014 ( i used Open Austria ATO) and did a factory reset in stock recovery after downgrade. Then tried Kingroot several times before it worked. Android Kingroot app (NOT Desktop version) does not trip knox. It did not work on later versions of 4.4.2 i tried. There is no stock UK (BTU) ANEB 4.4.2 firmware on sammobile.com so i used Open Austria firmware instead. Works perfectly. Rooted and Knox 0x0.
Try it, the new firmware is amazing. Better RAM management, better camera, more snappy experience! Battery life is a little bit shortened though, however it's a worthy sacrifice.
Flash with Odin under AP option.

are you sure? is this the most recent firmware? because on sammobile the first firmware is another one, 2016-04-11 (yyyy mm dd) from Turkey!
sorry, maybe this is a stupid question, but i don't know the csc/pda reading rule for understanding the most recent and the oldest
yes. this latest firmware germany state.
ar you've tried this firmware?
if you've tried, plis try downgrade to old firmware ?
i'am stuck in this firmware
There's no changelog on Sammobile !
Do changelogs exist somewhere for Samsung updates ?
what is this firmware, cant find it anywhere on the internet.
Just warning.
New update DQC1 contain new boot-loader version 6. If you update you not going to be able to downgrade an till we have full odin file of this new firmware. Odin back to privies firmware will not work.
Hi! my version is 7.0 nougat QA8 work to flash this without imei null ? sorry for my bad english
When I try downgrade android system from 11 to 10 on Samsung SM-G-780F, I get on phone message: SW REV. CHECK FALI ( BOOTLOADER) DEVICE:0x5, BINARY: 0x1.
Odin try to load vbmeta.img.

What you mean? I try to load by Odin android 10 version G780FXXU1ATJ1, but when Odin load vbmeta.img file, the phone get this message. SW REV. CHECK FALI ( BOOTLOADER) DEVICE:0x5, BINARY: 0x1.
How can I fix it?
If you already have Android 11 installed you can't downgrade to Android 10. Therefore you have to flash a recent Android 11 firmware.
How can I do? I try to use a Odin and android 10 version https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-G780F/XEO/G780FXXU1ATI9.
But, I always get on phone in download mode a infromation
SW REV. CHECK FALI ( BOOTLOADER) DEVICE:0x5, BINARY: 0x1.
you can't downgrade like that anymore

no solution, we're all limited to flashing roms with the same bootloader version. dropping to the immediately previous update might be possible, different android versions isn't gonna happen.

Ok, i understand that, but i can change the region of the Rom, because i have a ZTO (brazil) but i want back to my room (GTO Guatemala) but the latest version of GTO is G780FXXS6CUI2 and ZTO version is G780FXXS6CUI2
