I have purchased several things on aliexpress and never had issues with their products or services.

I already wasted money on one gamepad so I bit the bullet and ended up buying the Moga Power Pro instead. On sale at the moment for just under $50 so it's still cheaper than the Samsung Gamepad.

I bought the ipega 9025, only 23$ for a full fledged controller and works perfectly with Dreadhalls, Herobound, Protocol Zero and navigating through menus.

Digital TV WiFi / Bluetooth receiver

Hi, folks!
One of my friends appeared today with a very cool accessory for his iPhone. He bought a wifi digital tv receiver for his iPhone. I have to admit that this is one of the greatest accessories I´ve seen!
Although it´s a WiFi receiver, only iPhones and Symbian phones are supported, once one has to install a program to use it. In the link below you may find some pictures of this accessory:
http://www.garotasemfio.com.br/blog/2010/06/24/review-modulo-de-tv-digital-tivizen-para-iphonetouch/
My question is: is there anything similar to Windows Mobile?
Thanks in advance!
hmmmmm...well interesting device.
Look neat but I would not buy it. If you have to spend money, just buy a TV tuner for your home pc and install this: www.orb.com
google search find
no idea where to buy one though
here is the company site for Bluetooth Wireless DTV Receiving Solution.

Thanks
yea i seen this a while ago and thought id love one for my 7500, but as you said cant see where to buy one anywhere. would consider it though if the price was right.
Any news, guys?

You can't use this because u can use this in China/Korea only, it was CMMB/T-DMB which only used in China and Korea!
I've a solution for a long time ago already!
You can use Slingbox or Orb!
Slingbox was a top-box that u can stream your TV(HD) outside using it's Slingbox program(PC or PPC), but the top-box cost much... NO MONTHLY FEE
Orb is a free solution similar as Slingbox, you no need a top-box but you need a computer with TV-TUNER card as server, and create a account and install Orb in your computer, so you can stream your TV using your browser(opera, ie,, on phone or pc etc.), format .asx! ORB IS FREE!
I am using Orb now, but it's quilaty quite low and i want to buy SlingBox, but it cost...
I HAVE NO MONEY...

How does the game klip feel with the 7, is not a bit top heavy and unwieldy? I have a case that doubles as a stand so it's cool sat at a table but awkward sat on the sofa or a bus/train without a table so I'm quite tempted.

Will a ps3 controller from other brands or even the really cheap ones work well? Or only the oficial ps3 controllers will work?
Thanks
I have the smaller Moga Mobile controller and it works well, its one of the only controllers that gets official game support too. They just came out with a new model, the Moga Pro, its a regular sized controller and I bet its pretty good. Same price as the Moga Mobile also, $49.

Ps3 controller all the way. Especially when your emulating ps1 games.

I have an idroid:con that is specifically designed for android and iOS... works pretty well
Wait and buy OUYA
for 99$ you can have game console + controller
PS3 gets the most usage. On my MK808 Android stick, there is no Bluetooth, so I tether it with a mini USB cord, but pair wirelessly to my N7.
I have a MOGA too and its cool. That's better for my Galaxy Nexus though.

[Android 4.1+] Aerial TV - DVB-T/T2 with RTL2832

Description
Aerial TV brings DVB-T and DVB-T2 to Android using the cheap RTL2832 dongles. No root required.
If you already own an RTL-SDR dongle with the RTL2832 frontend then you are ready to go. Just plug it in with USB OTG cable and follow the on-screen instructions.
These dongles are easy to find online and cost around €10-€15. Those are the same dongles used for SDR. In case of Aerial TV the dongles are actually used in their native TV mode.
Pricing
This app is free to try and gives you 30 minutes of TV viewing during the trial period. After the trial period elapses you can still listen to radio for free.
Compatible devices
All RTL-SDR dongles should work fine with the app. For comprehensive list, check out my previous project's XDA thread: SDR Touch
Availability
The app is only available in countries that have DVB-T or DVB-T2 broadcasts. This means that for example, the app can't be downloaded in the USA.
Feedback
Any Feedback is welcome! I have released the app just recently so it still has some missing features (such as EPG, subtitles, etc.) I would like to build up a Q&A section here so feel free to contribute!

This is a great question
The Live Channels app is currently only available for a very small number of TV boxes. This means that more customers can benefit from Aerial TV than Live Channels.
For this reason I will concentrate working on Aerial TV for the time being. If Google extends support for Live Channels for more Android devices, I will certainly consider creating a plugin.
Furthermore I am unsure how Live Channels works. It is possible that Google is using native kernel support for USB dongles in which case RTL-SDRs are probably already supported.

Xperia Gamepad

Was looking to get a gamepad and was wondering what other people were using. I know the sony line has support for the ps4 controllers is that a better option then say a moga hero controller?
Anyone do android gaming, do most games support the controller anyway?
Thanks
I have a PS3 controller that works perfectly on my z2 tablet via wire or wireless. I've played around with the x compact and can get it to work via wire (that was plug and play) but it wouldn't do wireless (although if you're rooted it's probably doable).
I have used both a Moga Hero and DualShock 4 (with added cell-phone clamp) with my Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia X Compact. I did also use a DS3 with the Z3 Compact, but that support has since been removed and pairing it required a cable while the DS4 pairs easily over bluetooth.
DS4 gives native support for Remote Play, which the Hero does not. Balance is better with the DS4 as well thanks to the grips to counteract the weight of the phone. Also the D-pad and buttons are great on the DS4, while the Hero is rather mushy (not ideal for pulling off special moves in fighting games) and shoulder buttons are cramped (not great for FPS games).
Where the Hero excels is greater portability and battery life. It's great at both of these. It easily fits into the pocket and has a large battery. There is a companion app for using the Hero with certain games, but it also features a mode that works with any game that has native gamepad support.
Either one could work, so it depends on what's more important to you. DS4 will give you Remote Play and is a solid controller for any game with native controller support. Hero will fit in your pocket and give you long battery life.
Personally I wish Sony would just make a more pocket-friendly DS4 to pair with their phones. It would help fill the role that the Vita will be leaving for Remote Play and as a portable gaming system, yet not require much in the way of engineering to accomplish (compared to another dedicated handheld). But that seems like too much to ask for.
I use the icontrolpad myself. A compact controller that easily fits in a pocket, has analogs, plenty of buttons, and an adjustable lock arm to transforming the phone/controller into a portable gaming station.

Believe me, I had a good one for $45, and it's not worth it, it's very limited, has a nausea inducing delay, bad resolution, bad optics, no good content except movies. Please save money and buy an Oculus Quest 2 for $299 or cheaper if used, it's unarguably on another level.
you can also go for a cheap 10$ one if you insist on using your phone for vr purposes as they all offer roughly the same experience at least thats my opinion on it
I agree with Kryptuz.
Your best bet is to purchase an Oculus quest 2.
The thing about using phones for your VR display... Over time phone screens get scratches in them no matter how tiny or big just from being in your pocket or whatever. A tiny scratch on the screen that isn't noticeable normally, will be very noticeable, frustrating or just plain tacky
once your viewing the screen through magnifying VR lenses. Nothing can touch the quest 2 screen so it's 100% safe from blemishes or scratches.
Not to mention, your phone is bloated with Google play store, search, services, framework, ect. That run in the background constantly. Diminishing it's VR potential.
Quest 2 does not have any potential diminishing background services. So the device is 100% focused on strictly VR. PLUS most phone VR sets only come with a single cheap Bluetooth remote. The quest 2 comes with dual position/motion/pressure sensitive controllers. The difference between physically reaching out and grabbing something Or pressing a button on a dinky lil thing.
Also worth mentioning the quest2 has something called the GUARDIAN. Which allows you to set the outline of your safe play zone. And the Oculus will make sure you stay within your designated SafeZone so you don't wonder into traffic or run into a wall.
If you just want to play media locally (movies, ect). Store media on phone, install DLNA from app store on phone. In DLNA app set the directory of the media. From the headset, install Pigasus. As long as both devices are on the same wifi, Pigasus will read media being broadcasted via DLNA from your phone.
Just trust me.... The quest2 is a much better option.
