910T to 910F - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Guys,
Before someone says "google it" I have ! there is so much info in this field its confusing.
I bought 910F from ebay but when it arrived it was a 910T. Im trying to get a refund but if i cant can i
1. install all the firmware to make it a 910F(Vodafone firmware would be ideal)
2. Debrand it from Tmobile?
Any help would be appreciated

The 910F has a different processors

1
Looking at the specs on XDA they both have Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processors ?

There is a 910F custom ROM in the developer section. I believe it is a generic unlocked firmware. Lollipop build.

No it doesn't. The N910F uses a Snapdragon 805/Adreno 420 just like the N910T. The only difference is the frequencies supported by the modem.

Can we flash other variant note 4 firmware on N910T

My bro have a Galaxy Note 4 N910T variant phone
His phone is sim Unlocked, and we can use any mobile network on it.
N910T have Snapdragon 805 Chip,
My Question is that Can we flash firmware in N910T, of other variant of Note 4 that have same Snapdragon 805 Chip ?
Other note 4 have 5.0.1 update so can we flash that firmware in N910T, if that firmware is based on Snapdragon 805 Chip ?
Is any one try to do that ?

I have asked that question some time ago, and the answer is no, different antennas AFAIK.
And I think Odin wont even let you continue flashing a firmware from different model.

Strange if this is true

only if we are Sim Unlocked.
Thanks for your reply, and sad news for my Bro

That is also the reason why I asked that question lol.
I previously own a Z2, and I flashed a firmware from a different variant without problems, even got OTA from the new firmware XD

Mmmm I just dont trust in this... Thinking about it, if I'll sell a phone thats not even announced yet, I put an unboxing video of the actual phone, not the 920I (thats the unboxing showed on the page).
That is a legit site. Ordered a couple phones from them.
Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
It's a N920i, but they are selling as N920F

Accidentally bought SM-G9730 variant

Hi all! I bought the S10 from eBay not knowing it was the Chinese variant.
I have at&t, and it supports all but two of ATT's bands, so I'm fine there.
I just have one question: Will I be able to flash a stock ROM of a different variant through Odin? Like the US Snapdragon variant for example.
So.. No one knows? I wanna verify before I try to flash a ROM
No you will not really be able to do as you wish without substantial customization and editing of the files you want to flash.
What you are asking is as unlikely as being able to flash the TMO version with the AT&T software.. BUT.. AS I UNDERSTAND IT, unlike the other dual SIM variants the unit you purchased comes with a unlocked bootloader out of the box -- whereas all the other variations -- the bootloader is locked so you will be able to flash custom roms down the road which should cover you.
Samsung pay in a few other things those won't work as I understand it.
---------- Post added at 08:23 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:10 PM ----------
oh and I forgot this nugget of very important information
If you flash anything other than dual SIM variant software you will lose the dual-sim functionality.
Further, I'm not sure how that might affect your micro SD card slot since the hardware is a little different on that device.
Summary: i wouldn't recommend using anything other than dual SIM variant software.
I was wrong however, from like hardware to like hardware there is a way -- see this post. an example of single Sim to single-sim how to do it.

O my good god what are you asking:x You are asking how to flash wortheless murican firmware on unlocked bootloader phone. It will not work though. With this phone you can later have root when it will be available.

As others have said, do not do this or you may brick your phone. The model number and bootloader are different between US and non-US Snapdragon versions. I had tried it on my S8 and it won't boot.

It is only possible to flash other other SM-G9730 models, not 973U like the US models. As there is only one other firmware you can flash, I think you can flash the Hong Kong version as it is closer to the US version than the chinese version is (Chinese and Hong-Kong have the same version)

Motorola one power 1942-1 software update problem

Hello. I'm from Pakistan and have a Chinese varient of Motorola one power model number 1942-1. My device has not received any update after September update.
My question is, that can i flash the updates of Indian variant 1942-2 on my device. Will it be safe??? As the build number of September update of both devices is same, kernel version is also same, only the baseband version is different.
And frequency bands in India and Pakistan are same.
I have added screenshot below, the first one is of my device and the other one is of Indian variant. Please need help regarding this issue. I want to update My phone. Kindly respected developers answer that is it safe to do or not? What will be the consequences.

Bro, i would have helped you if i knew about this but i would recommend you to join the telegram group for our device. All the latest information, roms etc are available on it. Moreover you can ask the real devs and other senior members regarding this question and i am sure you will find your answer. Just join group and ask on telegram. You wont get many answers here on XDA.
Here is the link for the telgram group: https://t.me/MotoOnePower

I have asked Motorola support for this problem, they said that device should run without any problem with indian software but due to user modification they can not guarantee 100% as Chinese varient would not get any update.
Second, i have seen a video on YouTube, a buddy was flashing our current rom to his p30 note Chinese,,, actually the version 8.1 that we are running is indian,, if you google it you will find that Chinese rom is totally different in all aspects,,, I will install pie indian version in some days and Will tell you the results... And if you tried first then plz tell me too.
Currently i don't have a fast connection enough to download the rom.... If you want to do, i will encourage you ???

2.flash twrp
3.wipe all partition
4.flash stock zip
Or

dont limit yourself to this being the last question, ask anything you like. Some of us on XDA will not ridicule you for asking stuff that "you should have searched for"
anyways, no. youll be fine. that being said, if youre flashing firmware from a carrier that diffders from the carrier that it was originally set up for, youll need the modified version of Odin.
