I'm running LP. After flashing the zip, it boots (after doing the "Android is upgrading" thing), but then if you shut it down/reboot it bootloops. If I wipe cache through recovery, it boots fine again (after doing the "upgrading" thing once again) and works fine till the next shutdown/reboot.
It doesnt work yet, there is no fix either..
Xposed for lollipop is still an alpha version and should not really be used
Sent from my D5803 using XDA Premium HD app
it does work for some people.

Bump
If it is any comfort, I have same issue - and yeah, read in other threads some people it is working perfectly.
Out of desperation I even tried factory-reset but still ended up needing to wipe cache/ Dalvik cache like you.
Hopefully, the Dev will soon release a working-for-all version.
For anyone who has the same issue (and is running on the stock ROM): A factory reset through TWRP did not fix the problem for me. I had to reflash the ROM.

you can just manually uninstall xposed, no need to wipe or reflash anything
Installing XPosed worked fine, the problem was the module installer. Even after removing the installer, the device still was looped. Another explanation could be that I was too dump to remove the installer. For anyone else having the problem, you may post how to remove the installer after being in a boot loop.
I managed to get Xposed to work - got rid of the infernal boot loop issue:
Came from rooted KK 5.77
Flashed pre-rooted Lollipop with R/W enabled, based on CE1
Ran 'Byeselinux' for recovery
Flashed 'Xposed.zip'
Installed 'Xposed alpha2'
Above resulting in the boot loop.
Flashed the 3 files directly on top of my setup, wipe cache/ Dalvik cache & reboot as suggested in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/development/lp-mini-deodex-t3076490
Tested by d/l-ing app from Playstore, installed Amplify from Xposed (had already Lolistat, Xperia/AOSP NavBar & Fix Lollipop Memory Leak running/installed), 5 reboots and all is ok.

Hi
I'm trying to install Kitkat 4.4 with Maclaws cm11. Also tried the carbon rom. All seems to work fine until I flash G apps. Then I get random reboots shortly after boot. Tried both micro and aroma Gapps from Mclaw. Am I alone with this problem? Any suggestions?
I'm using CWM for flashing and wrong cache etc. Baseband I8190XXANA2 in stock 4.1.2 (rooted) which works fine.
After more research it seems like reboots happens also without Gapps. Also happening in 4.3. There was recently a firmware update early this week. Maybe something has changed, breaking custom ROMs.

Bud,
If you're on stock just do that:
1-Reboot in recovery
2-Choose Wipe data/factory reset
3-Flash cm rom
4-Flash gapps
5-Reboot
Done, that's it. Not complicate.
If you want to update cm roms:
1-Reboot in recovery
2-Flash cm update
3-Choose Wipe cache & dalvik cache
4-Reboot
Done.
You don't need to mess up with anything more. Read my FAQ here for gapps & for more doubts. Have fun
thanks...

Thanks for the advice. I've read the faq's and followed that, but the problem is that my phone just reboots randomly a minute or so after it's booted up. Was suspecting this to be the latest firmware update, but if so the forum would probably been flooded with more with the same problem.
It might be my battery, which is bad. Just got a new one. Charging it now, and will try CM11 again tomorrow. If it still reboots I'll see if I'm able to access the logs to get an idea of whats going on. It works fine on stock, so I'm a bit puzzled... .
Solved
...and after changing battery CM11 runs smooth without reboots .
The reboots happened with the original charger plugged in. Why that didn't happen to the stock ROM I can't explain.
The original Samsung battery scares me a bit. It has become 1-2 mm thicker. Looks like an accident waiting to happen. Have to dispose of safely somehow...quick...
Hopefully someone can help me with this issue.
I have a problem whereby my phone will go into a bootloop every time I reboot the phone. The only solution I have found so far is to boot back into recovery and wipe cache/dalvik cache however this is fairly time consuming as I have over 205 apps for which the cache needs to be built every time.
I had thought that the problem was to do with the latest update to Amplify and I was able to reboot successfully after downgrading but the problem has since surfaced so I am back to square one.
I am currently on SkyDragon v4 (Lollipop Rom) with latest Elemental kernel and also latest TWRP recovery. Is there anyway I can access a boot log and see what issue might be causing this bootloop (I feel it may be an app).

Have just updated to the latest firmware, was reluctant to do so as didn't think that would be the issue. After updating I still have the same issue.
I have found the culprit though, it would appear that a module in my xposed library is to blame as I have just disabled xposed on boot and it booted straight to the home screen.
HI, I installed xposed on my s2 using twrp recovery, and every thing worked fine, untill I found a problem after updating my rom automatically it gets stucked in cm boot screen I tried updating using another recovery but didn't work so I restored my last cm12.1 build , I uninstalled xposed also using twrp recovery and wiped cash and dalvic but when the phone complete it's boot all the apps installed on sdcard are not shown even it was shown when the phone was saying ''optimizing system apps", the only fix is to do wipe data which is a thing I don't wanna do offcourse.
Any help.guys I realy need to update my rom.

Did you re-flash Xposed after you updated your ROM? Updating a ROM will overwrite files which are required for Xposed. So basically you should do the following:
update your ROM, boot into recovery, re-flash Xposed, wipe cache&dalvik, reboot.

Hi. i'm on Galaxy S6 6.0.1 marshmallow (STOCK ROM) that recently rooted and installed Xposed custom build by wanam.
I regret after finding out that i was unable to use barclays banking app and snapchat;
Unsure if my phone is soft bricked due to my history of actions:
First, i have installed normal xposed that caused bootloop and then proceed to replace it with the custom build version by wanam upon researching in the forums.
Upon finding out that i was unable to use the apps mentioned above after booting,
I unrooted my phone believing it was due to the root without removing xposed. It still didn't work so I rerooted it back just to remove xposed.
After flashing the uninstaller.zip, it went on bootloop again. I tried flashing several uninstaller including the one provided by wanam and it all didn't work.
The only solution i found in the internet was to deleting the file on data/data/de.****xposed via TWRP file manager. That didn't work as well and I panicked when the reboot button in TWRP weren't working anymore so i manually rebooted and proceeded to wipe my data heavy-heartedly which also didn't bypass the bootloop.
Now, i am left with no option and only able to use my newly wiped phone after reinstalling Xposed again.

Yes, although i need to manually reboot it as TWRP doesn't reboot automatically for me.
Would you think that might be the problem?

I don't think so. I would suggest that you ask for help in wanam's Xposed thread as this is the version you installed.
Hello !
At first I apologize for my English, I am French.
So i used the custom ROM Validus and this problem appears for every ROM. Like you know, when you root, you can't use snapchat and u need to login before you root your phone. So i installed Validus, i install all apps i need and login (included snapchat) but after that when i flash super su, my phone reset and i have a error message which flashes. In the message i have ".com.android" something and i'm obliged to shutdown the phone, reset the phone and re-install the ROM.
And this appears with all ROM (Tesla, Tuga etc...) and i don't know how can i use snapchat acutally.
I tried to disable super user in the app, doesnt work
I saw we can use xposed app but for 7.1.1, it's not possible actually
Any ideas ?
Thanks,
Snapchat discorvers root as it denies working on it. After flashing install snapchat and login. Then return to recovery and install SU afterwards. Possibly you have to use tools like RootCloak.

It's what i tried to do (without RootCloak) and when i do that, i lost all my data (like i wipe all data when i try to install SU...) but RootCloak works for 7.1.1 ? Because i already tried to flash Xposed, doesnt work (error 1)
Try SUHide. Though the data wipe seems odd.

I tried to flash suhide after flash ROM, doesnt work, the ROM don't charge (the loading of the ROM don't stop)
PS : I tried with Validus ROM and others, same things
Here's a workaround for Nexus 6. Maybe it's working on 3T as well. Something else I found here.
Nevertheless, the auto data wipe is strange. Did you clean or dirty flash?

I don't know what is dirty flash ? What i know is i alway wipe all data before install any custom ROM
But I found a solution. I installed Root Swich, it's a simple app which allows to deactivate the root and activate it as you want.
So i disabled root and install snapchat and login successfully.
But i want to understand why when i want to flash super su for any custom ROM i have a auto data wipe :/
Since your device is beyond my reach I can't help investigating the problem. Maybe the data is not really deleted but r/w permissions have just been modified and cannot be accessed any more. But anyway, I'm glad your found a workaround.

Thanks for your help anyway !
Now I just need someone who knows how can i fix the problem of data. Cause if one day i will need to flash something, it's gonna wipe the data of my phone
Maybe if i do a clean factory reset or something ? Cause i used my 3T a lot cause of this to find a solution so maybe something happenned when i tried so many things. (Test of ROM etc ...)
I have more information, when I install any custom ROM and after that I want to flash super su, wipe cache etc ... I boot on the ROM normally but i see my phone haved a factory reset and i have this ".com.android.phone has stopped" Impossible to remove the message and I am forced to wipe again data and reinstalll the ROM.
Conclusion : I can install ROM but after that, i can not do anything, if i do anything, BOUM, reset factory. And i don't understand why ....
I tried the last (Unofficial) TWRP but when i tried to boot on the ROM after flashing it, my phone didn't boot on the ROM but always on TWRP.
Maybe I brick my phone but i can use it, i don't have storage problem or others so ...
I'm lost ... Any ideas ?

Do you have this issue with only flashing super su or try to boot into recovery don't do anything and reboot check if it still reset everything.
Which recovery you are using?
The version

I have this issue only flashing super su, when i try to boot into recovery and then reboot into the ROM, nothing happened.
I use 3.0.3.1, when i tried 3.0.4.0 and flash a ROM, the phone only boot on recovery and not into the ROM
I'm actually having a similar issue. One day my phone was acting weird and I had to force reboot. I noticed after that I lost root. I've tried flashing SuperSU again, and it flashes fine but I still don't get root. This morning I upgraded to 4.0.3, and tried flashing root, and same thing no root.
The weirdest part is I can flash a custom kernel with TWRP 3.0.3.1 and the kernel flashes fine and I have the custom kernel, if I try flashing SuperSU, it flashes fine but I get no root AND it removes the custom kernel!!! Everything I'm using is the most updated too. What gives? I want root back....
