Any one else hate shopping with women? What bugs me the most is they have to try on ever little thing they like! And half of the time they don't buy it! I love shopping with women. Lol seriously though, when a woman goes clothes shopping, we get more of a rush like when you get a new gadget you love or watch the game or the like. It's fun finding pretty stuff to show off in. Lol

not buying stuff on the day does make sense - means she didn't waste money on clothes she wouldnt wear, and got rid of the impulse buy, and only got stuff she liked.
I like shopping - its fun. I get to piss around a lot with my fianceé whilst she shops so its no big problem! Besides, it also has brownie points....

Sometimes I hate shopping with my wife because we spent the whole day to look for her shoes we went several malls then at the end she bought nothing because she did not like the designs. I think it is a wasting of time.

Oh gosh i dont even go in the mall anymore it takes so long, especially if theres a sale going on.
I took my girlfriend Christmas shopping last year and told her she could get what she wanted(me paying for it) and well my wallet was almost empty when we left 2 hours later, but it paid off in the long run.

I actually don't really mind shopping with my wife. When it comes to clothes, she's very selective when it comes to trying things on.
She only goes berserk when it comes to shoes. But then every shoe shop has some place for me to sit. So, I use the opportunity to fiddle around with my smartphone.
Hey guys, i could use a quick cheer up. Everyone tell me how your week has been.
I got a raise Monday, now I make 10 cents above minimum wage! I found a lump on my testicles Wednesday and was diagnosed with testicular cancer on Friday, which coincidentally was the day my parents held a family meeting telling us that they were going to file a divorce by the end of next week. I don't even know what to do anymore.
Anyone out there need to talk about their problems? I don't have anyone in particular to talk to.

hey man sorry to hear! one of my best friends had the same thing about a year and a half ago and went through all the treatment and is now cancer free. keep your head up and by all means do the treatment. did they test the lump bc my grandmother had a tumor on her brain and the dr told her she only had 2 months to live and it was cancer so she got a second opinion from another dr and said there was no way to tell untill they got it out. she did have the tumor removed and it was not cancer.
Sorry to hear that man i had a bad week but nothing like that....i totaled my car and my skyrocket flew out the window so i picked up the note but although i came out fine my brother had to get stitches and has a fractured hand.

Cheer up, no matter what your going through, some people have it worse. My week was pretty good. One day last week (I think it was Tuesday) I was on my way to work on the highway and I seen a Guy walk out of hid car and jump in front of a semi truck and died instantly. Don't wanna disgust u with the details but it was horrible. You just have to be thankful that it was testicular cancer instead of something much more severe. Remember nothing is ever perfect and that is what keeps me going whenever something happens. Also remember that some people don't have parents. Good luck

I've never had reason to doubt my doctor, but I suppose a second opinion wouldn't hurt. He says it is malignant, but I hope it is just a tumor. My best friend had to have his left testicle removed a few months ago. You don't know how relieved I would be if it were just a tumor, and that it could be removed safely. From what I understand though testicular cancer is one of those things where you preety much have to go under the needle and remove the testicle to cure it.

yea i would always get a second opinion for something that serious anyway. i think my buddy had to have his removed also but he did have to do treatment. so did he test it to see if it was malignant im not a dr but i dont see how they would know without a test

Yeah he said that it was malignant, based on tests. I still want to get a second doctors opinion on the matter, even if it sounds ignorant. Better safe than sorry.
I can't imagine seeing that man jump in front of a semi D: I saw a smoking, fiery semi truck sliding down a highway on its side once a few years back. It was such a surreal moment for me.

Massive off topic: Guys, make sure you all have smoke alarms in your home. Just saved my & my girlfriend's life. Accidentally turned the oven on (fckng ridiculous in itself that you can flick the buttons on that easily..) max. Lid was down, towel that was on it started burning half an hour later. Girlfriend was sleeping (3 am here), I should have been as well.
I noticed the smell in my computer room, 5 seconds later the alarm started. Threw the towel in the sink, have now everything open to get the smoke out.
Without it..? Fck knows..
They're at most 10$ / piece. Just saved two lives probably. Get them tomorrow !!

Kind of related.. I left a candle burning on my coffee table without thinking about it, jumped in the shower for 10 minutes and when I got out the WHOLE candle was on fire! I've never seen anything like it. Didn't even know it was possible.
So don't forget to blow out you candles as well, even if your only going to be out of the room for a few minutes.

5 years ago, just closed the pub at 3 am. While waiting for the bartender who's on the phone fighting with his girl, I'm checking the window of a little furniture & gift shop across the road. I'm thinking, "hm, there's a bit of smoke in there. Ow, and a candle. OW, the fckng decoration curtain that is above it is burning!!". Called fire brigade, instant almost response, place saved with minor smoke damage. No insurance would have ever covered the stupid young girl's mistake to leave a huge candle burning after close. Poor people are still trying to give me discounts whenever I buy gifts.
Buy smoke alarms! Or have alert bar staff across the road..!!
P.S. Hate candles passionately..
Scary stuff! Glad you guys are ok. Be sure to test your smoke detectors every 6 months as well. In the US, daylight savings time is the standard reminder. Do you have something like that in your country?
I think my next move would be replacing that oven.

Good idea!
The alarms I have though do produce a short peep (very loud) as soon as the battery starts getting low. I just changed the battery in one of them actually. And, proactively, the one in the alarm that just went off..
I'll deal with the oven hereafter. Ordering child-safe button covers.

The last big show I played with a touring band was Aug 11th, 2006...just a few days after you lost your sister.
My second daughter was born Aug 11th, 2010. Aug 11th has become a big day for me.

i hope so 2 man bc its hard! i think about that and my lil boy everyday! for a while my mom and dad were not the same ppl it kinda freaked me out a lil but i understood. they are better now and they go to the graveyard and take flowers and stuff but to be honest i think ive been there prob twice its just to much. on a lighter note two girls jesus man i wish you the best lol! so glad i had a boy i didnt wanta have to kill anyone

Honestly, if I had a boy, I'd end my own life.
I am well suited to be a girl-dad.
This belongs in the confession thread, but the reality is...I can't stand my nephews.
I've created a bit of a rift in my family because of it.
Weird, because I grew up with two brothers, no sisters.
I love having daughters. I respond better to the emotions they display.
My nephews just bully and punch everything around them and it stresses me the hell out.

I just feel like a girl would be so hard bc i had sisters i guess i always felt like they were so needy lol! We had our draft today (8 years all the same guys) and this was the first year familys were invited so i took my lil boy and after we were done the host said i have to tell you your lil boy is so good and so well mannered at two years old its crazy! i was proud bc i hate some bad a$$ kids lol!

My nephews suck.
My six year old is basically an adult. Handles all her business and does her thing. My two year old has a glass of milk at bedtome and I set her in her crib and she goes to sleep on her own. Almost too easy. Both kids go to bed at 8pm, and they both sleep through the night. They always have.

My kids still throw fits and all that, but man, I thank my lucky stars every night that my wife and i are together and are raising our girls together.
On a semi-sad note. My Christmas present this year is to say bye bye to my balls.

I ordered two 16GB Nexuses on Tuesday the 27th and paid for expedited shipping (so, +$3.00 or something fairly insignificant), and spent all of Friday waiting for UPS to ring my unit and bring me my phones. They finally do at 6:50pm; my phone rings, I buzz the guy into my building (I was at a restaurant nearby) and lo and behold, what happens? Minutes later my tracking page says receiver was unavailable and that they'll try again Tuesday!!!
On top of it all, I couldn't pick it up that night and they were closed that Saturday because of the long weekend, meaning I couldn't get my toys until today (I know, I know, #firstworldproblems).

I ordered mine on the 30th, also with the expedited shipping. UPS says they will be here the 5th, coming from one state over. It feels like it's taking forever, I can't wait to run away from Sprint and their dropping calls left and right out of nowhere.

It's very nice! I've left it stock for the moment, but I'm really missing the simple yet effective customization in CyanogenMod (Torch, quiet time, and battery meter, to name three) so I don't know how long I'll last.
The only thing I'm not terribly happy about, coming from AMOLED displays, is that the IPS colors seem downright anemic. It's more than making it up to me in 1280x768 smoothness, though
This is my first Nexus phone but second Nexus device (I have a 2012 N7).

It's very nice! I've left it stock for the moment, but I'm really missing the simple yet effective customization in CyanogenMod (Torch, quiet time, and battery meter, to name three) so I don't know how long I'll last.
The only thing I'm not terribly happy about, coming from AMOLED displays, is that the IPS colors seem downright anemic. It's more than making it up to me in 1280x768 smoothness, though
This is my first Nexus phone but second Nexus device (I have a 2012 N7).

The options you miss like torch, quite times and battery meter are all plenty available in Play bro. Like for instance Battery Widget Reborn and Silent Sleep.

Android is meant to be lean and mean, you can add the things you like/need yourself.

I can really recommend franco kernel as far as kernels go. It improves battery life immensely. (going from 3h30 screen on time to 6h-kind of improvement). It definitely made my nexus 4 go from a great device to an amazing one.
