The answer is no. RAM management comes from deep inside the source code, so you have to wait until those memory leaks are solved by either Google or less likely, Cyanogen. Android 5.1 is supposed to be better in that regard.

1. Faux kernel app--
Helps in tweaking the various features of a custom kernel. And with a good enough customization, perfomance and battery life definitely goes up
Pss:*Not applicable on stock kernel*
2. Amplify app
An app which helps in blocking the various wake-locks which could prevent your phone from going into deep sleep and also increased battery consumption
Xposed framework is necessary for its functioning, and Yes, it does help in increasing battery life by blocking the wake-locks
*caution must be taken as tweaking and blocking all the wake-locks and alarms or services without proper knowledge could result in broken functionality and possibly boot-loop*
*same caution must be exercised with the faux-kenel app, or any other kernel tweaking apps, for that matter*
Hope that clears it for you

Thanksa lot,
But I've one more doubt, when I installed xposed first from recovery, then installed apk. Then installed Amplify, but there is no call audio either incoming or outgoing. Installed Xposed in both Stock ROM & CM12 but same same problem no call audio.

Do you mean call audio via voip ie whatsapp, viber, hangouts etc.
If yes, there is a buildprop edit that fixes that problem

Other than that, regular calls are working fine for me

Thats strange, I never had problems with regular calls
And moreover installing xposed would never mess up calls
Did you install any audio mods such as viper4android?
Well then,
1. Try installing a stock LP, factory reset it and then installing titan over it.
2. Try formatting everything, I mean everything except sd card then installation as stated above
PS; Does audio work in titan prior to installing xposed . ?

Well, considering that xposed for LP is still at an alpha stage, I'd suggest you to wait till a more stable one is released.
Me being on cm12.1 do miss the xposed frameworks too.
Then only way out is to wait for now

Looking for Xposed on open beta 7
Well I HV got you covered with this simple short Guide
Many people get error / status 1 wile flashing normal Xposed.zip
This method will install magisk and Xposed framework
First download files which are required:
Magisk V9: Click Here
Xposed Installer zip: Click Here
PhhSuper user zip: Click Here
PhhSuper user : Click Here
Xposed installer: Click Here
Twrp Modified: Click Here
Now Flash
1)Modified Twrp
2)Magisk V9
3)SuperSu (Optional)
4)And Xposed Installer zip
5)Reboot ( First reboot will take some time )
Install PhhSuper followed by Xposed installer apk
Done
* Xposed is not fully compatible with Nov Security Patches yet, so some modules would end you up in a bootloop!!
You can though update to latest version of Xposed(System less) via the app itself.
System will reboot twice when you flash SuperSU
Rovo89 has released new Xposed framework version that works with latest beta built v7 of OOS. I've just tried it and it work.
First uninstall few unwanted apps which you don't use if you get error like no space etc..
This new build will not give bootloop. It works with Nov 1 patch!.
!!!!This is a test version risk is all on you don't blame me.!!!

Only certain modules work like youtubeadaway, certain ones will won't let you pass the boot screen, like greenify xposed
A few steps are missing !
- Flash your favorite kernel on top of this.
- Finally enjoy the best performance and battery life on your phone.
Oops I almost forgot the final step !
- Complain to the kernel developer and ask him to fix:
....the battery drain.
...the slow fingerprint reader
...the phone overheating
...the random reboots
...the weak wifi signal
...any strange behaviour that needs fixing
Any list of working modules ?

This post was not required at all IMO. Flashing and using Xposed is totally one's choice and people are totally aware that Xposed means no support from kernel/ROM devs. But why this unrequired bashing?

I totally agree that people have the choice to flash and install whatever they want, this is certainly the main reason why we love android. However many people root, flash Xposed and more recently magisk without understanding the implications. Those are amazing pieces of software, really powerful and I have a huge respect for the developers. However I don't think anyone should flash those without a basic understanding of what they do to the system. (And why it means no support from kernel/ROM devs).
My post was mainly a parody of the current discussions in the forums. Simply, look at this thread, it's supposed to be a guide to help people and make things easier for everyone. Most of the replies should be something like 'thanks it works great', not confused people or with issues (like bootloops for example....)
Description
Fixes in call low volume mic issues for various Android devices.
Can also fix "Ok Google" detection.
Tested on OnePlus One running both Android 6, 7 & 8 Roms
Note: Originally designed for the OnePlus One but will work for some others. Your mileage will vary.
How it works
Uses the tool "resetprop" to modify the default values found in build.prop to:
Code:
ro.qc.sdk.audio.fluencetype=none
persist.audio.fluence.voicerec=true
persist.audio.fluence.speaker=false
use.voice.path.for.pcm.voip=true

Perfect I just use this and modify the build prompt. What exactly is the issue from? Is one mic dead and needs replacing thus using this work around or is it something separate to that?
This is a module for magisk. You need to flash that first before flashing this. If you found this thread somehow but don't know what magisk is, I suggest you read up on magisk first. This module modifies the build.prop so you don't need to, and persists through updates.
I'm not sure what the cause is, but it's the same or similar fix that many OPO owners have used.
I love you, really. This finally fixed my microphone issue on my Nexus 6P!
Will this also work on the oneplus 3 and oneplus 3t? I seem to have this mic issue on both 3 and 3t. Thanks.

It's untested but has been reported to work on other phones. There's no harm in trying, if you have issues just remove the module. Let me know if it works.
How does this work? After installing this module I checked the build.prop and it's still the same as before but somehow my mic is now working properly.

It doesn't change the build.prop file, only what value is loaded for the props at system startup. More info here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/magisk-details-dummies-to-developers-t3473486

No worries. That's one of the beautiful selling points of Magisk... If you've clean flashed an update, all you have to do is flash the Magisk zip and your modules and voila! All your mods (build.prop, replacing system sounds, debloating apps, moving apps to system, etc) are already done as soon as you boot up! If you do a dirty update all you probably have to do is flash Magisk again since your modules will still be in /data.
Updated for magisk 11.6

Run getprop command in terminal. Your actual build.prop isn't updated because of the nature of Magisk.

Hi, so far I only found "it fixes mic issues". Maybe I'm being selectively blind, but could someone please state which mic issues this fixes?
I'm on HTC one M7 using the last lineage os before it was discontinued for M7, and I do suffer low mic output in calls, and the phone occasionally reboots if I switch speakerphone on during a call (weirdly only when maps is running navigation), but does this have anything to do with those "mic issues"?
Thanks, and please forgive my blindness if it's obvious!

EDIT: Nevermind, I see in your previous post: HTC one M7 using the last lineage os.
Ah so, I'm not sure what your issue is. It looks to be that because you would get reboots when switching to speakerphone in calls, this fix will only amplify that effect. Unfortunately I don't think I can be of any help to you. I'm sorry :/
I would suggest checking out the HTM M7 sub-forum for support in this case.

Resurrection Remix 5.8.5 is very stable & as far as I'm concern, also bug-free.
To get better battery life, root it Magisk then install Greenify and Root Master (choose Battery mode).
Currently I'm using Pixel Launcher 3 instead of Trebuchet launcher from RR.
Status: Finish full charge on 7am, bring to work, connect to office Wi-Fi, back home at 6pm (also connect to Wifi), battery is still 48-51% remaining.

Based on my experience moving from MIUI 8 Global Stable to Paranoid 7.2.1, it's not necessary to wipe the internal storage. Just make sure you have the right version of TWRP installed and flashed the most compatible fw version with the ROM you want to flash. As for RR, I use the capricornCNFirmware-7.11.16. Google it for the download link. Happy flashing...

A thing that I really want to know is: I'm moving to an AOSP ROM because Miui 9 system block some apps to properly working, so I want try on another ROM and I want root it,
1) can I go with SuperSU zip as usual or there are better alternatives?
And a very interesting thing I want know is
2) how does camera work? Is it good?
3) if I want apply camera mod to enable 1080p 60 FPS recording, does it work? Never tried?

If you currently use MIUI 9, make sure you unlock the bootloader first to be able to change the bootloader to TWRP. Only after successful install of TWRP you can begin flashing the custom ROM of your choice.
1) As for rooting, I use Magisk (install the zip via TWRP). Magisk comes with handy apps for you to download many interesting add-on module, such as Viper4 music equalizer, Google Product Sans font, Greenify, etc.
2) You can install gcam or even a ported Mi A1 camera apk. Browse through this XDA Xiaomi Mi5 forum. Plenty of information here
3) Sorry. Never tried this. Maybe anybody else can help?

60fps can be forced in some 3rd party camera apps(Google camera mods for instance) via modifying a system file, but the effect is actually the opposite. 30fps videos get about 22fps and 60fps gets 24fps. As far as i know it's IMPOSSIBLE to really record 1080p 60fps with Mi5. Probably some hardware limitation, otherwise it would be enabled by default, there have been many official updates since release.

Oh no it is possible to record in 1080p at 60 FPS infact OnePlus 3 with same hardware of Mi 5 already support this function since 2016 (shame on Xiaomi which still doesn't give us this possibility). But fortunately we have great independent developers who try to get us all features to our phone, infact on a forum some good devs were able to bring us recording in 1080p at 60 FPS. Check the Mi 5 mod section to find it and be able to use it.
Tried it, doesn't really work, I thought I made it work too. Read what I said... As far as I've read on all forums, nobody made it work, so it must be impossible. I can really love with it though.

I've been using that version of viper since I got the phone and haven't run into any issues. I do however also have the audio modification library and audio compatibility patch modules installed as well. If those don't help, then I think there is a larger issue.
PS - I've used both the latest stable and the canary Magisk builds without issues.

Ok, so... same as me.
Really, i don't know where to start. I've flashed stock rom wiping everything some days ago. So, my phone is clean. I've the latest Magisk stable and elementalx 1.05.
All i can do is try to dirty flash stock rom again and install twrp, magisk and elementalx and try another time.
About audio compatibily patch, there are really too many options and i don't know where to start to install it correctly..... but i don't think google camera crashes because of that......
Same problem if i install Viper4Android FX Legacy module.

I would be surprised if the audio compatibility patch caused an issue too. Honestly I had forgotten about the initial options that I had to choose when I installed it. I just uninstalled it and reinstalled it and only chose the "notification remover" option and then opted out of the lib use (last option). I use the headphone jack, so I don't need a USB DAC (does this phone even have one?), nor do I use Spotify, etc.
However, it is important to install the audio modification library last. It should find both the Audio Compatibility Patch as well as Viper4Android and patch both to work together. I might suggest that you uninstall it, reboot, and reinstall it to ensure it is actually patching both audio modification. Also, make sure the driver is actually installed in Viper if you end up reinstalling any of these mods as you might find that the driver isn't actually installed. It's a long shot, but perhaps that would fix your issue.
I'm also using the leaked camera version 6.3.017.253834016 currently (because it has the night sight setting as a main option instead of buried in the "more" settings). But this really shouldn't matter and the stock camera app worked just fine too. Viper4Android is always one of the first mods I install on a phone and it has never given me a problem on my 3a XL or caused the camera to stop working.

Tried exactly what you said. Same issue, Google Camera crashes on start. Every V4A version i tried, same thing.... Well, i don't know what to try more..... Asked on official V4A thread but no answer. Is there any way to provide logs to discover what happen?
EDIT: I've attached a logcat, if you know what could be the problem i will be happy
Dirty flashed August factory image, Elementalx, TWRP and Magisk. Same issue. Anyone who can help me taking a look at the logs?
Im on 2.5.0.5 and i have no issues so far with the camera app.
The only issue that i have is that v4a is marked as harmful by Google protect. Anyone else?
Pixel 2 xl user here with the latest viper4android on android 10, same camera app is crashing on me

I've never had any real issues getting Viper4Android to work on Android 10, but I understand it is a common issue. Here is a Pixel 4 thread on installing Viper4Android on Android 10 and how they got it to work. The fact that it is on a Pixel 4 device is irrelevant. Perhaps this can help you get the driver installed.
PS - I should mention that I already was using the audio compatibility module and the audio modification module prior to moving to Android 10, so it is quite possible that is why I never experienced any issues.

I am. And the camera started working after disabling the boldbeast module.
What's the best custom ROM (and its' build number) in terms of performance, stability, functionality & battery life? (note: 2-sides call recording must be available)
Thanks
To answer my own question - I found that the best ROM is the stock Xiaomi 11.0.1 (QFCMIXM/) ROM, rooted with Magisk and using SKVALEX call recording through Magisk. Works perfectly.
As I don't mind tripping safetynet, installed edXposed, cleared dalvik cache, installed edXposed manager. Flawless.
p.s. Tried xiaomi.eu ROMs, too many minor and sometime major issues made me decide to stick with stock.
Very helpful infos, thanks.
I am with xiaomi.eu rom v11.0.4 with magisk installed and also adaway for ad blocking,
There are some bugs, but I dont't want many chinese useless apps (except the usefull ones, e.g remote control, compass, etc).
Do you recomend going back to global?
Absolutely. You can always carefully debloat it using apps such as Titanium Backup.

The MiuiMix,it's a good room, whith a saver battery.
Safetynet it's ok.
At the end, it's Muii.
You can uninstall unnecessary apps with XiaomiADBFastbootTools.
Thanks for the recommendation, @paco666. I may check it out in the future.
I was able to fix safetynet by instaling the latest canary edXposed from the CI:
https://ci.appveyor.com/project/ElderDrivers/edxposed/history
This specific latest build ATM:
https://ci.appveyor.com/project/ElderDrivers/edxposed/builds/32933762/artifacts
Also removed one module from there that tripped safetynet and it's ok now, although it does fail from time to time, but only for a few minutes and then returns back to normal green.
I highly recommend using edXposed with CustoMIUIzer module which adds A LOT of enhancements, including extended power menu and disabling secure content protection etc.

"Hidden Settings" app from the play store is also very useful:

This is my backup phone and overall I am extremely pleased with it. My main phone is Samsung Note 10+ and I still love this Xiaomi, thanks to all the modules, apps, great specs and built in features.
P.S. I could do without the annoying 7 days waiting time (for bootloader unlocking code), but that's currently my only gripe.
