Sidesync/Mobizen or similar app for turbo? - Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo Q&A, Help & Troublesh

Does anybody know if Sidesync works with our turbos? Or if there is an app similar to it like mobizen? Mobizen works, but it misses certain buttons and things that I still have to push from my phone screen.

What exactly are you trying to do?

Weird minor problem w/ messaging??

I'm experiencing an odd problem when opening messages (sms, email, etc). Whether I click on the ok button, the scroll wheel, or the center dpad button to open a message, every so often the messaging window mins n I get kicked to the today screen. What's weird is it doesnt happen always, but probably more often than not. Anyone else having this problem? HAd this problem? Know how to fix it?
Thanks!
are you on any special ROM or anything? I have quirks every now and then, but I'm used to that, considering I mastered windows 95 and 98.
Not rom specific. Anyone ever experience this problem?

Notification Tray won't pull down all the way

Hey guys, from time to time, my notification tray refuses to pull down all the way. The only way I've found to get around this is to actually restart my phone. I've tried killing the TouchWiz process through my mobile terminal but it didn't actually seem to kill it at all. I'm pretty sure it's "kill com.sep.android.app.twlauncher" but I could be mistaken. Included screenshots. Anybody else have this problem or a solution?
Sometimes I encounter the exact same problem and the only solution that I found is rebooting the phone as u did !
I'm really interested in what causes the problem and how to solve it
Ya I'm experiencing this problem too on a Rogers Samsung Galaxy S Captivate running 2.2. Would love to hear if someone figures out what's causing the issue.
yea i had same prb untill i put in new rom thought it was just me
Sometimes it's out of memory. I would kill some unused jobs with task manager and it works for me in most cases.

System volume randomly turning all the way back up?

I have the system volume turned all the way off.. I find the startup sound and the key clicks irritating. But every once in a while it starts back up. I don't see any threads about it, and a google search yields nothing. I've had this happen on 2 Captivates now, anyone else have this problem?

Yep have the problem as well. Im pretty sure others have the issue as well as I recall seeing this before... I want to say it has something to do with a conflicting menu command or something of the sort

Wonder if Samsung is going to address this issue at all.. it's pretty minor. But it sure does suck when the phone randomly decides to make loud clicking noises.

I have this problem as well. I have not been able to figure out the sequence of events that causes it.
I have this problem as well, it always seems to happen after I mess with stuff in the system preferences, but like the previous poster, I haven't noticed any patterns.

I think I figured it out, I have navigation volume turned all the way up and when I leave navigation, the system volume is cranked all the way up too. They must be linked some how.

System volume
Yes, seems that everyone has this problem...even on custom ROMs.
What I've tried is to use Tasker to turn the system volume down to where you like it after the Navigation exits.
Works great.

Wired Tether and Quick Reboot

Sometimes when I Nan-restore my CM, wired tether and quick boot are installed. Anybody know why? Residual app code or something?
It takes about 10 seconds to uninstall, but I'm just curious. Anybody else come across little quirks like this?

When you made the back up they were still on the phone. Just make a new backup after you delete them and you won't have to delete them anymore.
That's the thing, it still happens. It's weird. Was just curious if anybody experienced this too.

Soft keys stop working in some stock applications

I have a stock LG G Flex from t-Mobile. When I open messaging or the Google app the soft keys at the bottom of the screen stop responding. It's not a digitizer issue because if I install a messaging program they work fine but in the stock app they do not. I am unsure what is causing the issue and I can not seem to find anything searching that is similar with this phone. Anybody have any ideas what it could be?
