That's handy to know.
I have 2 TVs at home with HDMI. The sound works with one but the other I just get Video for some reason
Is it possible to do something like this;
HDMI Video only to my TV
Bluetooth Audio to my Music System / Headphones / Computer speakers
Has any one tried this ?
Can try when I get home from work if nobody has tried it before then.
EDIT: That worked just fine on stock. Should a video on youtube on the TV via HDMI and the sound to my music system via Bluetooth and the Belkin Bluetooth Music Receiver
Hoping for some help/tips/ideas.
My car radio has a USB port that has an "aux" mode that is supposed to let me stream audio to it. I do not have a car dock.
My question is: how can I get my Cappy to stream audio, including call audio, via USB? I'm running an ICS ROM (Doc's Master ICS V5).
Any help/tips will be appreciated.
you have a couple different options here, to use the usb you will have to select media when you plug it in on your phone. For straight music playing just use a dual 3.5mm cord(same at both ends) and use the headphone jack and aux on the car deck. As for calling and such the only way to do that is if you have a bluetooth enabled stereo.
When I was in a car like that I streamed my music through USB I just connected the USB and put my cappy in USB mode and the car automatically went to reading the music files on my phone. I was running ICS too.

I was wondering if anyone is using USB headphones to listen to music.
I was able to use these two apps and figure out that my headset (Logitech G930) is directly supported right through OTG no need for DAC:
First: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.extreamsd.usbaudiorecorderpro&hl=en
Second: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.extreamsd.usbaudioplayerpro&hl=en
Only issue is with the player its native to the app so i can't use Grooveshark through the USB.
Was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get it working or does have it working without a DAC.
EDIT: Buttons now working as well on the headset (play/pause forward/back and volume rocker) but no audio still
After the Lollipop update I can finally get USB audio (DAC) working on every application but the sound is always stuttering with a lot of popping sound especially when it has high CPU activity.
Strange enough if I play music through USB Audio Player Pro it doesn't stutter anymore. Unfortunately I also use USB audio when I play games and that's where I have the problem.
I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the DAC, also Lollipop can normally handle USB audio nicely since the same DAC and OTG cable works flawlessly on my phone (Moto G 1st Generation) running 5.0.2 Lollipop.
Does anyone experience the same issue? Do you have any solution?
I have to address that I've done factory reset after updating to Lollipop.
How can i force my car : Hyundai Sonata to use AUX audio output instead of USB that comes when using Android auto, because with using usb i get 1-2 seconds sound delay while on aux it works normally, is there anyway to disable the android auto from getting audio from usb and just get audio from aux?
when i play my media through AUX there is no delay or lag, but when i use Android auto it uses remote_submix to get audio from usb and therfore i cant use my aux audio, i tried to disable remove_submix but android auto wont start, any idea how to reroute audio from android auto usb to aux?
