Did you happen to delete anything (bloat) when using RR. if so, most likely you deleted something you shouldnt have. Probably going to have to go back to the beginning and start over.

Dirty flashing can cause this too.

Heres a stock backup. Just Unrar and put in your backup folder on your SD in TWRP/Backups/FAxxxxxxxx/
Also theres a RUU somewhere on this forum, just don't know where.

Exact same thing I thought. That's why I wipe everything and I never have problems. Leave nothing to chance.

I am having this problem as well...
I placed the stock recovery in the TWRP folder and recovered 100% fine, but when I boot up my phone is still on RaptorRom GPE v2, still displaying, "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped". Is there a problem here or am I not doing something right..?
**Also, I don't know if it's a hardware problem but my front camera is no longer working, looked everywhere on threads but nobody has addressed anybody else with this problem
(This is also happening with every other ROM I am trying to flash)
,thanks in advance.

Are you doing a complete wipe of the caches, system and internal storage? You should be wiping them all except the SD card and the usb-otg ones otherwise you're dirty flashing. Regarding the camera, flash a different kernel.

Same problem here...... Any solution?
Hello. Ive been searching around for a solution to my problem and found this thread.
I tried all the suggestions on this thread and still no luck. If anyone has an answer or
a suggestion Im all ears and Thank You in advance.

SGT Hard Resets on every bootup on any ROM.

It's been quite a learning curve getting my Sprint CDMA Galaxy Tab and attempting to load every Miui, CM7/CM9 I could find on XDA and Rootzwiki. I never fully tested my tablet before beginning the delve into the flashing world so I don't know if this is an issue with the tablet itself or caused by my endless flashing trials.
I simply am unable to save any settings or data. Everytime I boot up, no matter which ROM (Miui CM7/9), it is always factory reset. This is quite frustrating.
I'm back on stock from odining Sprint EF17 GB w/ original PIT file and this is still happening. Does anyone have any idea if this was self-incurred or if there is a partitioning bug of some sort that I have missed.
Much Thanks in advance!
So every time you turn on your Tab it loads and then reboots in a continuous loop? Do you see the Android OS unlock screen or the load process does not gets so far? Because if it does not then in my opinion the boot loader is incorrect for some reason. That is my opinion.
What you can do if you suspect that the PIT is incorrect, you read your PIT and save via Heimdall and compare it with somebody else who has the same Tab as you have.

Negative. This is not a continuous loop bug. It is a "unable to personalize" bug. I can install market/apps/data/contacts etc etc, but every single time I boot up. it's a Fresh Copy with no personalized settings.
sounds like permission issue? Is there a fix permission in recovery?

Yes I booted into CWM,fixed permissions, rebooted, put 2-3 icons on desktop, rebooted.
Nothing, it was back to factory default settings.
A permissions issue does make sense, but it didn't work and this is just mind boggling to me.

Sprint SPH-P100
I'm sorry you have the same problem.
However I'm glad to have someone to share it with. Misery loves company. I've scoured the web for 3 days and have nothing.
Please if anybody knows what's going on. From my non-developer logic I need to find a way to get the changes I make to my phone to write permanently (so to speak), everything I do is temporary until I reboot.
Hmmmm... I suppose you guy's already tried to wipe all caches and reflash the kernel (= not the ROM, just the kernel) ?
Where do I find the Kernal?
It's the zImage file right?
The ROM I'm on right now is JT's CM7 here:
I wanted to try just flashing the kernal but I am unable to locate the zImage file. What directory is it in?
Edit: I found the Kernal, it's actually in the CWM 5.0.2.7 package. I'm gonna try flashing the kernal over to see if it fixes the issue.
Edit2: No cigar, reflashing kernal does not fix this issue. On a side note, I tried to upgrade to CM9 and got "Encryption Unsuccessful". Not that I am knowledgable in this, but it seems the issue may share some commonality with that.

Hi,
Yah, zImage should be the kernel.
In this thread, I found something about the issue you have. It might have something to do with NoFrillsCPU... Hope this helps

Eh, I just went through all 37 pages of that thread. Couldn't find anything on NoFrillsCPU and didn't see any issues that resemble mine. Was that tthe right thread? I'll do a google for nofrillscpu and see if that brings up anything.

you read very fast then LOL
Anyway, my bad, it's not NoFrillsCPU but it's SetCPU ... It's in the OP : "Please DO NOT check the "Set on Boot" button in SetCPU untill you have tested it, or you may not be able to get control back without a reflash."
EDIT : Looks like there's a misunderstanding in me confused about the CDMA versions. Sounds like this thread has all the solutions you need. I may be wrong , of course...

I think you have my issue confused with another . My issue is that everytime I boot it's a clean boot with google account reset/desktop reset. I can't save any settings or download any apps without it getting wiped by a boot. I don't even think my ROM is currently overclocked but I'll look to see if indeed it's hiding in here somewhere.
Let me know if you see anything else that I can try :-(
Thanks though
Edit: Just checked, my system was not overcloccked and set on boot was not checked so this is definetely not the same issue.

[Q] soft boot loops after installing more than 150 apps!!

as the title says,I'm getting boot loops after installing many apps,my research shows that this is not app related,I didn't checked with another rom or kernel,I checked both intern sd and extern sd and results are the same.I'm using Rocket rom V 22 with AbyssNote kernel V 4.2 and ThunderBolt script v2.6.1 with addons.so the question is how to fix this restart loops, and to be more specific, these r soft boots, meaning the screen goes black and then just the boot sound with no animation and the lockscreen appears after that.any help is so appreciated.
how do you know it isnt app related? you are using the same apps on both internal and sd ad getting the same issue
hard reset and reflash the rom and see if it occurs then or try a different rom/kernel
becuase I tested -the hard way, installing 1 by 1,and different combinations-and hard reset dosen't solve the problem, may be I test with stock rom and kernel.

if this is happening on stock and custom rom.....then this should be one of the app problem. Some app is interfering with the system and making to to stop unexpectedly resulting in soft boots ! You will have to check every app and identify the one causing problem!

Try installing one app at a time. And see if that gives the problem. If not then move to the other one. Wait for sometime after installing each app so that you get to know whether that app is the culprit. Hope you get to catch it .... !!

This boot loop is my problem too. Too many apps. Android says can't manage that much appsa and suggests to get rid of some apps I definitely need, like k-9-mail, whatsapp... Every time different apps. Rooted or not. Newest stock rom.
Happens again and again after put off the phone.
When I deinstalled a couple of them there is a chance the boot loop passes.
Any idea beside deinstall most of the apps? Please help.

System partition not booting up?

I'll try to keep this one explained simple
- Was running have boot loader unlocked and am rooted, was trickdroid
- Decided to try what else was out there for ROMS, switched to Renovate rom, was a downgrade from trickdroid in my eyes
- Decided to switch to one more rom before making the jump back to trickdroid, accidentally wiped internal storage data along with everything else
- After wasting most of my day messing with this crap, I finally got everything back to somewhat operational again
- My internal memory and Cache at one point were unmountable and read 0MB, had to do a factory reset via boot loader then a full wipe using TWRP
- Finally have trickdroid installed and its semi operational, aside from the fact that when I load it, it instantly has no service, no internet, nothing. It sends me to the launcher portion and there are no apps on there either. Shortly after it starts it will restart the device.
-After doing several restarts into recovery I have confirmed that the system partition consistently unchecks itself and I have already attempted fixing permissions several times and doing a system wipe and full ROM install again.. same issue to no avail.
- Last night I actually managed to pull up icons and programs, somehow, but again there was no system being loaded up
A little help please? I am in a state of a soft brick at this point, which is not bad considering I had a SUPER HARD brick earlier.
Help me, please. I just want to get this phone back to a functioning state!

A hard brick is unrecoverable. It means your phone is literally as responsive as a brick. I would say your phone is pretty functional if the actual OS loads.
Anyway, have you tried RUU? That usually brings everything back to normal. Be sure to use the correct one, and note that you will lose EVERYTHING. Even root.
EDIT: Try this.

So I did try using this link and downloaded the full zip file and unzipped as per instructions of QBKing77 off of youtube, then clicked setup.exe within the folder which was unzipped, but after it ran through its setup process, nothing else popped up? I tried doing it as well through hasoons all in one toolkit but while that worked, it didn't work as expected and it just stayed at the black htc screen. I'm lost at the moment.

International
Sprint
AT&T
T-Mobile
So it could be confusing to some
Hello from my finally unbricked one! Turns out I was having issues with the computer itself launching installshield so it wouldn't keep the factory RUU running. I did it from a different computer and it did it in stride.. I'm so happy to have this thing back. So on a sidenote I had to rwlock bootloader and then I had to reload the factory RUU.

[Q] HTC One Mini Port

I tried the latest beta version of a HTC One Mini port by nlsolja123 yesterday. It seemed to have flashed with no problem, but then it doesn't go past the "One" screen. I would let him know that I tested it since he asked has anyone done so, but I'm unable to since I'm new. Has anyone else tried it besides me?
it is possible, that something is wrong it the startup or something. did you try both of the ones i uploaded or just the newest? im needing someone experienced to help get a logcat. and find the error

OK. At first I thought it was going to take a while to boot up because I've flashed ROMs/ports in the past that's done so. I wish I could help, but the only experience I have is flashing multiple ROMs on different phones. But there's one question I have though: when I flashed the port, it asked if I wanted to fix permissions to root it...are you supposed to fix it or decline? I did both options and came up with the same result.

In the development section, blafree64 has a Sense 5 ROM. Have you tried flashing it? The file is pretty big and took a while to download, but when it eventually finished downloading I tried to flash it. However, my phone just hung on the Facebook logo.

Possible hardware malfunction? I can't tell

I'm having a consistent problem with my phone, no matter when ROM I have installed. The problem is that my phone will just start turning off at random. Once it starts resetting, it will continue until the phone is dead. Sometimes If I plug it into my computer it seems to stop, but other times it just continues. At first I thought it was a problem with my gapps, because I sometimes they crash at random. Chrome in particular, almost never works. The only other error I get is "unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped", but most of the time it will just shut off without warning.
Basically I need to either find a solution, or install stock ROM and return it. However that is another problem all in itself, so finding a solution would be preferable. I'm not sure what information to post about my phone that would be relevant, but just ask me and you shall receive!
Thank you <3

Yes I re-locked it first, and that's the RUU I used. I'll try it again though.
I think I was using the wrong RUU before. I was able to install the stock ROM, and I'll have to wait and see if it'll keep resetting, or if it's just something else I'm doing wrong when I install CM.
