Hello everyone! Thank you for your time.
I have a AT&T HTC One from launch day. I recently flashed the AT&T stock ROM for 4.4.2 over an old 4.2 Google Play Edition ROM for my phone. I used ADB Sideload in TWRP 2.5 to do so. I also rooted. After flashing, I was fine for about a day, but then two issues occurred.
1) I can no longer send texts. I receive them fine and the phone works otherwise for calls, Wi-Fi, data, etc. but nobody I've texted is receiving texts. I've tried using a third-party client and the built in one.
2) If I reboot the phone, the phone will boot up normally, work for about a minute or two, then reboot again. This cycle repeats until I flash again. Clearing the caches does not help. I'm still able to access everything until it reboots and getting into the Settings menu seems to prevent this issue from occurring, but I have no idea why this is happening.
I know I can always flash another ROM and those seem to work fine, but I'd really like to stick with stock or a similar-stock experience where I can root. Anyone that can recommend a solution or a ROM that's close to stock would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Did you change your MID & CID back to stock? Did you flash the stock AT&T firmware? You can get the latest from this post.

I didn't, but I never changed it to begin with. When I flashed the GPE, did it change that?

You can tell the GPE firmware by the Black bootloader screen.
new recovery and reflash rom and you should be in good shape

Updating the recovery helped me reflash the ROM without issue and I'm up and running! Thank you very much!
Hey guys,I need some help here. I am currently complete stock rooted and everything is working.
But when I flash another ROM, I cannot get any phone calls. I am being told that my phone rings and rings, or just goes straight to voicemail. I never once hear the phone ring,on a custom ROM.
I have updated all my firmware to the tee. I tried reflashing the radio, to see if that helps, but nothing. When I restored my stock nandroid, everything works. I am a crack flasher,so this is killing me!!
I have looked over APN settings, asked people in ROM threads, and I think I am the only one. I know I'll hear, you are doing something wrong, but I really am not. I clean flash everything. 5.0.x and 5.1 ROMs, all result in a lose of getting calls. Data works fine. Texting even works. Calling out works! But I can't get calls. Please help /;
Have you tried turning off enhanced LTE setting in "more>cell networks"?
Yes, I have tried all the tricks. Just can't get calls to work .

I had this problem also, easy fix.
Settings/more/cell network/access point names (APNs)..... click on T-Mobile GPRS, just click it to open the settings, the where is says apn protocol, change it to ip4, click the 3 dot menu, save, make sure its ticked..... might have to flip airplane mode on and off, I didn't.

I will give it a spot. I did this too, but still no calls, but I will load up a ROM. I know that Sykpos said it's a known issue.

I have to do that for every rom I install. For some reason the apn is set to ip6, that is stock, but it wont connect. As soon as I set it to ip4, I have service, phone and data.

I had this problem too, it happens when you're using a 5.1 radio on a 5.0 rom, just flash the 5.0 radio, even if you're on the 5.1 bootloader.
New 5.1 update fixes this problem ( new radio )

All thanks to scrosler, just pointing in the right direction.

Sorry for the huge delay. That did not help me /:
New radio,APN settings, everything. Only complete stock has calls working.
your issue has nothing to do with flashing the new radio. the rom you are using is based on aosp, and aosp is missing some lines of code that make you hear your speaker. flash the older radio again(not new radios), then flash this fix https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-W-PFSvgML0Mm5NdHIyQjlPeXc/view?usp=sharing to listen to your phone when you make a call or receive calls.
Does that new E radio work with 5.0 roms and tmobile? You can receive calls and also hear them using the newest radio?
Okay guys, I can confirm that flashing a 5.0.x radio fixed my issues. I can get calls on 5.1 and on 5.0.x !
From what I have read, the radios (new) are causing issues on T-mobile.

yup, the radio itself is giving mamy tmobile users issues, as thats why i reflashed an older radio. if you have an issue with your 5.1 rom about hearing calls themselves (not getting calls, but hearing the person on the other line), then flash that zip i posted in the previous page.

So even the newest radio is still giving us TMO users issues? So I should NOT flash the new radio, but the new bootloader is OK?

shouldnt be an issue with the new bootloader, but im still using the older one as well. i dont flash cm, ever. so why do i need it? the old one works fine
I guess im just really confused about everything, is there any benefit to going to the 5.1 rom if we still need to keep the old 5.0 radio?

Rather than having a generic question, you should list what particular ROM you're having problems with. I know with my ROM (Chroma), it was having problems in which incoming calls did not work on LTE but as of recent proprietary blob additions, everything works as intended.
Look for ROMs that are more updated, and there isn't such thing as a LMY47M base unless its stock-based as LMY47M was never dropped into AOSP. If the ROM is stock based then, it should have all of the blobs for phone calls to work properly.

I restored back to Stock 5.1 D
flashed over Bliss 3/30 and it was not working
Flashed resurrection and it wasn't working
Chroma worked with the latest build.
I didn't think it was a ROM issue since I had tried out 2 different ROMs but yeah, as it turns out it is.
I am running the 47M build, just rooted and un-encrypted and I don't have issues receiving calls while on WI-Fi. I am on T-mobile as well. However I do have an issue when VoLTE is enabled and the signal is low where the dialer won't dial-it will just say Dialing and the call would never complete. When I try to hang up to try again it will get stuck on Hanging Up and I have to reboot my phone. I have tried every build and every radio available for 5.1 and I am still having this issue here and there. I have disabled VoLTE for now until this is fixed.

I am stock. Just rooted and un-encrypted. So just like it came from T-mobile OTA.
Tried factory reset and APN settings reset, nothing seems to help. It happens randomly when the LTE signal is weak and the phone switches between H and LTE...
Do you guys think that I should do a factory reset and setup the device as new-maybe some kind of a system setting is the root of my issue?
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
This issue is now forwarded to Project Fi users. I keep missing calls on latest Project Fi built

As I said in my other reply in the CM12.1 thread, check your APN. You mentioned that you're completely sure, but, really, that's most likely the issue.

I've wiped everything and reflashed twice, and the APN definitelt isn't the issue. I've checked it against the same APN I used on the stock ROM, and I also tried all of the other existing possible Straight Talk APNs.
I'm almost positive it's something more because Straight Talk has an "APN Setter" app which reads your current sim card and network settings and tells you what APN to use based on that. It's always worked for me in the past, but on CM12 it gives me an error and tells me to try again later, when I'm connected to WiFi.
Is there anything else I could try or am I stuck on the stock rom?
still can't get this working at all. Have tried every APN under the sun. Reflashed many times. I got data when I went to 6.0 but other things were broken so I went back to 5.1 and still no data.
Could I take something that was making the data work in M and put it in the 5.1 rom to make it work?
I recently flashed cm on to my new droid turbo but the one thing that I can not get to work for some reason even after reflashing the image is the LTE on Verizon. Only the 3G works and even that randomly cuts out at times.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Are you on the latest release of cm 12.1 I was having this issue but updating appears to have fixed it. Make sure you are running the latest radio as well.
How do I know if I am running the latest radio or not?
I am running the latest highly release right now also
Any ideas what might be the problem?
I started having this issue as well. Everything is up to date. I even got a new sim from Verizon, but that did not help.
I have tried factory resets and even trying resurrection remix but it doesn't get 4g either. Also I can't access the apn which might be part of the problem. Maybe. But I can't figure that out either

I have had the same problem for about a week and a half, and is really starting to frustrate me.
Tried reflashing the radio SU4TL-44, resurrection remix, CM12.1, computerfreek's near stock rom, modifying the apn. Nothing has worked, except computerfreek's rom kept 4g for about a day, then lost it too. Was about to try to get a new SIM from Verizon to try that out, but won't now if it didn't help others.

I'm also having a similar issue. I'm stuck with 3g. Something to note in my case is that instead of the VZWINTERNET APN I have to use the VZWCF apn.
I was able to reflash cm and get lte to work for two days but now it is back to how it was and I can't even access the APN settings. Some how they are hidden.

That helped me be able to get into the APN setting menu but I am not sure I would need to change. There are 5 different APN profiles already made and the vzwinternet is the one selected

If it helps you, what I had to do to fix my connection is this:
I had no data. Then I changed an APN from VZWINTERNET to VZWCF (You probably won't need to do that though).
Then, I had 3g, but not 4g. To fix that, I reflashed the Turbo radio image.
If you don't have it, I can give you a TWRP zip I used for the radio image.
Good luck!
