Hello everyone,
I have problem with my n7000.
I wasn't able to charge my phone. So I ordered new usb port piece and new battery.
Now I'm able to charge my phone just via PC USB. Wall charger does not charge it (tested 4 chargers / power banks).
Any clue what can be bad? I thougt that power pins are same for pc usb charging and wall charging.

I have a tilt that now will charge from the USB to computer connection, but does not charge when plugged into the wall with my wall charger (an after-market charger that worked fine until today). The phone says "charging" but actually loses battery power .. and after a while the orange charging light goes off.
Any thoughts -- sure is a drag to have to charge my phone through the laptop.
What after market wall charger do you have? Does it use the USB cord to charge? I'm assuming that you plug the USB cord into the wall charger and then into your phone. If so this will not work. The USB cable is only capable of trickle charging. If you are doing anything while it is charging over USB you will use power faster than the trickle charger can provide. You have to charge it with a wall charger that does NOT use the USB cable.
Yes I realize that the standard wall charger uses a mini-USB plug but the internals of the cable are not the same as a data USB cable. The difference in juice it can provide is like comparing a PVC pipe to straw.
I was just using a radio shack iGo charger with a usb tip ... it worked fine until my latest ROM upgrade.

I bought a HTC One charger from Amazon, and when I try to charge my phone it connects but does not stay connected. Any ideas what I can do to get the charger to charge my phone?
Well. If it's a 2 piece charger, usb and converter unplug the Usb and connect it to ur pc. Does it connect? Or try a different wall outlet. Try it on a different device. Most likely it's defective if nothing works

after years of not issue, yesterday my note stop charging in the outlet chargers, I have several all do not charge it but have no issues charge my wifes phone.
but I can charge the phone with the same orig cable when the usb is my computer and not the outlet.
any clues why my phone will charge in my computer with same cable but not in orig outlet plug. please tell me I do have to have my $2K high end gaming desktop on just to charge my phone in its usb slot.
I cleaned everything, it is a new battery

I guess problem is in your adapter..try different adapter and see if it helps

I have tried 4 different adapter/cords combos ( just in my house) none of them charge my phone in an outlet - all work with my wife's smaller samsung in output. so weirdly only a direct usb with the oem cord to computer works ( in both my desk and laptop). so weird. so annoying.
You have to buy a new charging port, and the board that comes with it. This is a link to the part you need. I have a 2012 Nexus 7.
Previously the usb socket was damaged and when the charger was plugged in nothing happened.
I replaced the usb socket and for 3 months it's been fine.
This week though, it's not been charging.
When i plug I the charger cable, the tablet recognizes it and indicates it is charging - the tablet though slowly goes down in charge.
I have 50% of battery left.
Any ideas?
1) Running what version of Android?
2) Wall charger or USB port from PC?
3) If wall charger - original?
Fixed it. The connection to the battery wasn't secure.

I got an Aukey 3-port USB wall charger for Christmas (Model PA-T2), that includes a Quick Charge 2.0 port. I plugged in my Samsung Fast Charge Wireless charger into the port, but it does not fast charge at all. It will say fast charging, but then it will disconnect ("Wireless Charging Paused") after a couple of seconds. It'll keep cycling like this, so it's never really charging.
If I just plug the cable directly into the phone, it fast charges just fine though. I've tried changing cables as well.
Has anybody run into this issue with this Wall charger before?
