At&t Samsung Galaxy S5 Active (5.0) - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 5

Yuuup! Got the OTA yesterday. 1st thing noticed, white pulldown. Biggest thing noticed, still no app to SD. I tried moving, BUT, got that little sdcard icon where my games/Firefox beta etc... icons used to be in my app drawer.
Tap on em to move back & just keeps saying, "app not installed".
Wonder how long till 5.0.1 or ↑ OTA will take.

[Q] Cyanogen 10.1.2 Multi Window Issue

I'm at a loss of how to describe this annoying feature, but I believe it's multi-window.
Today is my 2nd day with my Nook HD+, I had no problem putting on CM 10.1.2, Thanks leapinlar, bokbokan, and everyone else!
I received a notification of an update (CM 10.1.3), without thinking I installed that. After rebooting, everything was fine, until I explored the features TOO MUCH. In the notification pull down, I saw a speech bubble icon for a feature so I clicked it. Now I have a light blue "bubble" or dot that stays on top of all other apps. The dot shows everything from the notification area, and if selected will open a scaled down version of the app that "floats" on top of whatever other app is open. I can't find out how to deactivate this feature, nor do I know what it might be called. I've had to do a re-install of CM 10.1.2, but this feature stayed activated.

Notification Icons on Lollipop

This may not be possible but I figured that I'd ask anyway. Is there any way to get the notification icons that pop up on the status bar to be more like the KitKat icons? I've got some notifications that show up as a plain white square on my status bar ever since I upgraded to Lollipop a few months ago.
Let me give you an example of couple that I'm running into. I have the NASCAR Mobile app on my phone. I also have the 14News app (local news) on my phone. Anytime I get notifications from either of these apps, I get a plain white square on my status bar and I have to take the time out and look and see what it is. I'm wondering if it is something in the Motorola settings that I'm missing because I am also running Lollipop on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (8") tablet and I don't have these issues on that device at all.
Any help that can be given to me on this would definitely be greatly appreciated.

do you have greenify? sometimes the system will lump those together if they've gone inactive for awhile and are greenified.

I've never had Greenify on my Moto X at all. These apps that I was talking about are apps that I use and get notifications from several times per week and I'd like to be able to tell at a glance which app is giving me the notification on my phone.
By the way, I've marked both apps as priority and I still get the plain white squares on these app notifications.

then perhaps it's due to too many notifications (sometimes from the same app). I noticed that on some apps like fb. on other apps like scrabble, there is a number embedded on the notification icon.
i believe there is a setting to tell whether or not to group them together or not.
There isn't anything like that on my status bar at all.
Are you asking if its possible to change the notification icon style on Lollipop to that of KitKat/Jellybean then yes its possible with the use of some Xposed mods. If the notification icons themselves appear distorted due to some reason then I'm afraid there is something wrong with the apps perhaps. A screenshot or two would have been really helpful in getting a better understanding of your issue here.
If you're asking about notification ticker, there's a module for Xposed by the name of 'Enable Notification Ticker'. I have it installed myself.

I was hoping that I wouldn't have to root this phone but I may try it one of these days.

I'm not really talking about a notification ticker. I have tried these before and found them to be more annoying than useful for me. Thank you anyway for your input.

Tab S2 T810 Marshmallow Notifications

Hi all,
I recently updated my Tab S2 T810 to 7.0.
All in all I like the new update but, the one thing I can not get on with is the new notification drop down menu.
Does anyone know of a theme, launcher or app I can install that would give me back the look and feel of Marshmallo 6.0 Notification menu.
Thanks.
Then why did you update?
Updating wasn't intentional.
Hmm auto update is a *****. ?
Then uninstall the update..
All I am wanting to do is, if possible, change the look of the notification drop down menu.
What's wrong with the notification drop down menu?

Sudden appearance of extra edge zone that just vibrates when touched

Has anyone had an issue similar to this? I've just had a new edge zone appear right where my right thumb would swipe that just vibrates as if it can't perform whatever action it's supposed to when swiped. I have Edge panels turned off as well as no Edge lighting. I can't get rid of it or figure out what caused it.
Look for One Hand Operation + app and disable it
Finally figured it out, or at least somewhat. I finally got it to trigger whatever it was supposed to, and an app came up. The app looks like some spammy adware that something like GoWeather or an SMS app stealth installed during an update. Once it opened, it didn't tell me what the app was, but had a menu at the top with the following "For You", "Funny", "Entertainment" and "Lifestyle" with a bunch of crap cards and ads displayed. There was a settings button that went into "Bar Settings" and allowed me to disable the tab button on the edge.
Edited to add: It's called "Instant Widget" and attaches itself to apps for install to show ads. In my case it was GoWeather that updated itself and caused the weird tab to show up. Instant widget is not listed in my widgets or apps. I linked it back to GoWeather Ex by googling around for it, and saw that it was saying GoWeather was running when it was. Just wanted to provide information in case it got anyone else.

Notification drawer problem

Since yesterday evening I can not get the notification and settings drawer to expand no matter what I do. I does expand when I am in the home screen, but that is due to the swipe down gesture. In no other app of the phone I can not make it to expand. I did a full wipe of the phone but nothing has changed. I am in the latest software 10.2.2.0 stable and the phone is not rooted. Has it happened to any one of you guys?
Thanks
