Hello. I would unroot android. It is possible when my phone is deodexed and with cocore kernel?? Thanks
P.s.: I would unroot phone because my device status is "personal". When the device status becomes "official" I will reroot phone.

Easiest way to unroot and get the device status to official again is by flashing back the official firmware using ODIN.

it happened me again. I unroot by deleting busybox and unroot by superSU . everything ok
What happened again? Yes, you can unroot that way too but still by flashing back the official firmware you'll get a clean unroot and "official" status.
Btw, if you're using cocore kernel and deodexed fw, of course the device status will be custom and root is required.

Which updates? SU? Busybox? If it's firmware OTA update that you're referring to, then yeah. When you root you'll lose that and deodexed rom is a custom rom, so you won't get any updates.

LOL yeah well, after root and installing deodexed firmware, that update does no longer work. But then, I doubt that there will be any updates from samsung. They're busy with their newer devices.

For that you need all stock. System files, kernel, everything. Best way to do it is to flash stock FW with Odin. But when you do that you can flash flash firmware that you want.
Anyone try to downgrade from the kitkat OTA yet? Verizon can so I'm wondering if the T-Mobile folks can.

Is it as simple as downloading the 4.2.2 for your carrier, extracting, and flashing recovery/boot/system? (from sbf-droid)
I've got the 4.4 update w modem and hlos and all that crap. (the leaked 4.4)
You dont need to downgrade to install OTA, check here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=47714142#post47714142
The 4.4 on sbf.droid is the OTA? (/TMO_RETAIL_XT1053_4.4-13.11.1Q2.X-69-3_MR2_CFC.xml.zip)

Sorry, let me ask again. If you took the ota and you are on t-mobile, can you use rsd to get back to 4.2.2 camera ota? This question is directed towards the locked folks.
Thanks!

Nope un not the OTA is tus full firmware for KitKat
I guess what I should have said was official version, not the leaked 140.42.3. But yes, those instructions worked wonderfully.
Why would anyone want to do that.. Kitkat is so nice on my T-Mobile moto x

Come on, use the search function or Google. And to answer the question, no there isn't.

I'm sure a 5.1 update of sense could be possible using GPE 5.1 kernel source and porting m9 stock rom.... but 5.1.1 no.
