Samsung AT&T SM G900A stuck on samsung logo - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 5

PLease help,
i tried to do an update to AT&T sm g900a . my fw was 4.4.2 ng3. and i tired to flash nd3 and tried to flash oc1. but my phone stuck wit open padlock. then i flash stock partitions on oc4. then it could not on the phone.(i belive it automaticaly select re-partitions). then it only turn on upto samsumng log and stuck there. after 5 sec it reboot again.
i tried a stock rom flash with odin 3files Ap, cp & CSC. but it is not recovering. then i think i do erase the nand erase all.
i have also .pit file for SM g900A 16gb, and also tried to flash the pit file by checking re-partitions in odin3.
nothing work out. then i tried to flash single ap file but it is failed.
kindly give some advise,

hi thank you, i tried this but now it is stuck on galaxy s5 logo with unlocked padlock. and there no reboot , just stay the phone on. no way to switch off except take out the battery.
please advise

Mine was like this and I also tried the above to no avail....the only way I found around it was to take it in to ATT store and have them "re-flash the Lolipop update" Wiped my phone but it works, now I just have to wait (patiently) for root exploit for the OTA 5.0.

i flashed 4.4.2 nce stock rom, by odin containing 4 files BL,AP, CP, CSC (BL didn't used)
i believed that it happened to me like stuck on Samsung logo at first time, when i flashed oc4 stock partitions to my 4.4.2 ng3 .
after that it never rebooted.
when i try to from sdcard it will say e/footer is wrong, something like that.
but somebody told me that i can adb and what is that ? it will help me or not?
kindly advise....

WHY oh WHY

So, I have a Note 3 that I am trying to upgrade (from 4.2 maybe). Kies and Kies 3 do not recognize my phone. When I tried to Odin it, I got an error and the message, "firmware upgrade encountered an issue". I've tried reflashing, but nothing helps. I feel like an idiot that I cannot figure this out. I have read and read. I have downloaded:
N900A_OC1_Stock(100%).zip
AP_N900AUCUEOC1_CL4335446_QB4210025_REV03_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5

So, I've tried different ways and I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. I have tried with Odin 3.09 and 3.10.6. I cannot use the zip file since I can't seem to get my phone into recovery with the error message above.
Can someone provide me with some guidance (in very simple steps)? Much appreciated.

Stupid question, it is AT&T phone. You can try to delete the .md5 at the end of the file name. Should look like this after AP_N900AUCUCNC2_722276_REV03_user_low_ship_MULTI_C ERT.tar

[Q] USED BUSY BOX "reboot to recovery" script

I am running Alliance 9.1 rom and I was searching for my Safestrap recovery. I didn't find it and so I tried busybox "reboot into recovery" script. Doing that made my phone go crazy "go to att and let the service tech" look at it. I can't boot into recovery as it gives me this error and I have to use ODIN to flash the BL file. Now I can't get into my phone because of a Pin. I think that the script from busy box is still running and if I can get passed my pin, I want to see if I can disable the script. My main issue is, can I use the aforementioned process to just start over? I was told I cannot use ODIN to flash to stock rom. I have already found out that I have tripped my knox counter. PLEASE HELP. THIS IS MY ONLY PHONE AND MY WIFE IS GOING TO KILL ME.
Thank you for your help.:crying:

When you put the Alliance rom on it and to get to safestrap all you have to do is hold your power button have a sec and click restart then safestrap. BUT after you flash anything you have to flash the OC1 Kernel before leaving safestrap.
This just harder

How to solve dm-verity verification failed/need to check drk first on samsung devices

Recently, I ran into the same problem and decided to check the interwebs for a solution which turns out to be pretty simple.
To solve the issue;
1. Download official firmware for your device from sammobile
2. Extract your firmware files from the TAR. (delete ext .md5 from file name, then open with 7zip/winrar. unzip)
3. Repack your firmware AFTER deleting cache.img. Instructions
4. Flash the repackaged firmware via ODIN
That's it!

Muthumbi: thank you so much, you are a genius. My n9208 was stuck at Samsung logo forever, no matter what I did, what stock firmware I flash through odin or through Kies, it just couldn't boot, I almost lost my hope. When entered recovery, only thing I noticed was the dm-verity failure, and I tried your way to solve the dm-verity problem only in the dim hope to change something........guess what, it booted, and booted very quickly!!!!, you saved my note 5!, massive thank you:good::good::good:
Now only one problem: rebooted into system, then entered stock recovery and did factory reset, dm-verity failure happened again. Any definitive solution other than re-flash stock firmware without cache.img? Much appreciated.

my problem solved with this file:
Code:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347784115
G920f
G928C...boots to wifi turning on, gets stuck there for a bit then reboots. If i do factory reset, it gets stuck at the boot logo permanently. if i get into recovery again, i get the dm-verity error. any ideas. cant root coz the FRP lock is on.
I had this problem and solved it by flashing Galaxy S6 marshmallow Kernel (check if it's compatible with your device e.g. I have a G920F). Then do a erase data/clear cache/reboot.
Your DRK is damaged. If you will extract the boot.img and system.img from the stock firmware then convert them each to .tar.md5 and flash the system.img then the boot.img it will boot like normal. If you ever update or reset the device it will stick back on the Samsung splash screen until you flash them again. I can repair your DRK as a permanent fix, but it can only be repaired via UART cable which means it cannot be redirected and repaired remotely. You are more than welcome to ship your phone to my business and I will repair the DRK and return it to you, but you must pay return shipping.
"furious99, you were right, though i hadn't seen your message, i noticed the marshmallow update for iraq for the G928C had been released, downloaded it and flashed the phone. It has been working since. I did a factory reset and it was still fine. so that is the solution.

This is only a temporary solution. If you update the firmware or factory reset the phone it will go back to being stuck on the Samsung logo. It can only be permanently fixed via a hardware solution atm.

i tried the cog2 the dok firmware nothing it fails all the time. if i try flashing this newer firmware and it works by some chance then i'm worried i wont be able to get a rom to work because from what i've seen most roms are cog2 or doc 6

Nand Erase In ODIN ( *** SOLVED *** )

Guys,
I need an urgent help. Here is my Story..
Using 9208 Note 5 model. After trying different custom roms i tried to flash stock firmware using Odin. Did everything correctly. Unfortunately i checked Nand Erase all option too. The result is my Note 5 stuck at Samsung DimDim logo. For almost 1 hour. Tried reflash several times but no luck..
So i flashed twrp and wipe data and factory reset and reboot. Its works. But problem with voLTE. No voLTE working. I know flashing JIO voLTE fix will solve this but i need a solution for this Odin. I dont want to flash voLTE fix.
Can someone help me pls.. How to bypass that Samsung logo without flashing Twrp.. ?

Well that's because you erased everything including your partitions so now you need to find the .PIT file for your exact model and select it in odin while flashing the firmware again.

I need to know the firmware version that you were on before this problem started.. The PIT file is always inside of the firmware you download all you need to is unzip it from within the .zip..

You can only downgrade if you have firmware that's bootloader version 4 because you're currently on bootloader version 4 and you cannot go back down to bootloader version 3 or earlier because that's been blocked by Sammy.. If you need the PIT file it's inside of the firmware that you downloaded you just need to extract it from the file. If you have the firmware G935FXXS4ESC6 then unzip it and then unzip them again and you'll find the PIT file in there.. It's usually inside of the CSC .tar file.

Thanks for your kind support, as per your suggestion after unzip the csc file i found the pit file . Now should i select Nand Erase & Re-Partition options after inserting the pit file. Is it safe to select these options?
I have flash so many time with same firmware, flashing was ok but still i'm facing same problem.
Millions of Thanks

You can do that yes and if that doesn't fix your problem then there must be something wrong with the phone itself. For your information though you're asking for help in the Galaxy Note 5 thread but you're on a Galaxy S7 Edge.. I do think a moderator might end up moving this to the correct place.
