I am running Alliance 9.1 rom and I was searching for my Safestrap recovery. I didn't find it and so I tried busybox "reboot into recovery" script. Doing that made my phone go crazy "go to att and let the service tech" look at it. I can't boot into recovery as it gives me this error and I have to use ODIN to flash the BL file. Now I can't get into my phone because of a Pin. I think that the script from busy box is still running and if I can get passed my pin, I want to see if I can disable the script. My main issue is, can I use the aforementioned process to just start over? I was told I cannot use ODIN to flash to stock rom. I have already found out that I have tripped my knox counter. PLEASE HELP. THIS IS MY ONLY PHONE AND MY WIFE IS GOING TO KILL ME.
Thank you for your help.:crying:

If you can get to download mode, then you should be able to flash ALL four files in Odin which will wipe your phone clean [100% Stock] Lollipop 5.0 (N900AUCUEOC1) Odin Tars http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-att/general/100-stock-lollipop-5-0-n900aucueoc1-t3069609 OR N900AUCUCNC2 ODIN Files http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54803130&postcount=136 Use all four this way your will wipe your phone. Can't help with Knox, once tripped that's it. Always do a "normal install" with busybox.

OC1 is Lollipop and NC2 is Kitkat. You can't root OC1 and NC2 you can. You wouldn't need the PIT file.

The phone booted and I've gone through the process. I was in download and while it did say "fail" on the com1 slot, the com 2 slot "passed" and I'm going through the setup process now. I am just happy I don't have an 800.00 brick.
Thank you so much for your help and I do appreciate your responses as I am new to this. I will most likely put alliance back on unless you have a Rom you use currently that you would recommend?

When you put the Alliance rom on it and to get to safestrap all you have to do is hold your power button have a sec and click restart then safestrap. BUT after you flash anything you have to flash the OC1 Kernel before leaving safestrap.
This just harder

So, i know i need to install ClockWorkMod 5.5.0.4 to get ICS on my P7500
So, odin is up and sees the tab as COM-0
I have recovery.tar.md5 from http://droidbasement.com/db-blog/?p=2487
NOW, where in ODIN do i attach the MD5?
bootloader?
PDA?
Phone?
CSC?
Now im on 5.8.3... somthing. Can someone confirm im doing the right thing to get ICS on my tab?
And the question above, im getting sweaty palms
THANKS
In PDA.
Thanks..
This scares me
I basically did the same thing u did few days ago.
I had root, and the latest CW recovery.
Went to this page, and hit the appropriate link for my device.
http://droidbasement.com/db-blog/?p=2533
Inside was a recovery and rom.
booted my phone into download mode, and flashed the older, but correct recovery.tar file under PDA using Odin 1.85.
rebooted into recovery and flashed ROM, everything went smooth.
I tried the May build and it wouldn't flash for whatever reason, so I had to go and get the build from April, might want to do that first in case, it was annoying to have to keep booting into android after wiping everything.
Please use proper instructions for all this, not my small blurb here, I left out a ton of stuff but essentially confirming that process you described worked for me.

So, I have a Note 3 that I am trying to upgrade (from 4.2 maybe). Kies and Kies 3 do not recognize my phone. When I tried to Odin it, I got an error and the message, "firmware upgrade encountered an issue". I've tried reflashing, but nothing helps. I feel like an idiot that I cannot figure this out. Stupid question, it is AT&T phone. You can try to delete the .md5 at the end of the file name. Should look like this after AP_N900AUCUCNC2_722276_REV03_user_low_ship_MULTI_C ERT.tar

I messed up
Tried to unroot my N5 and ended up bricking it.
I dont have original backup (pc formatted) so i tried flashing another 920T ROM to it but it keepos failing.
When i flash Noble_Kernel_Auto-Root and philz_touch i get a pass on each. Just trying differentways to get in.
I try sideloading and adb says success but nothing happens on the phone.
I've already done a factory reset so nothing to save here, I just want to get it up and running.
I've done quite a bit of reading on here but i know i need help.
Using Odin 3.09, 3.10.6 &.7
Any help appreciated.

Why didn't you use the recovery to make a backup so you could easily restore it when something like this happens?
Download the correct firmware for your phone and then extract it so all of the files are able to be put in the slots on Odin (BL, PA etc etc) because you have to flash them like that now.

Thanks for the reply. Newbie dumbass move i guess. still learning.
Question...when i extract the files, will i have to load them individually to their correct slots or do i just select one file and it auto populates ?
On another note, i managed to sideload a zip just now but nothing came of that.

You have to put them all in the respective slots individually but at the same time so they flash 1 after the other..
Try getting the firmware from here.

Also, follow my guide here but use your firmware and not Verizon!

Ok, so I'm back......after trying several things which i'll list step by step for someone else who may be frustrated
I got the zip you linked to but i couldn't get the individual files for loading. all i saw was N920Txxxx.md5 and it kept failing when i hit start. (was loading it in AP)
I then deleted the .md5 extension and it became a .tar in Winrar format.
I extracted the files and got the sboot.bin to load in CP, this got a PASS.
Still stuck on logo after reboot.
Next i loaded the .tar file in CSC and Voila ! Wrote, got PASS, phone rebooted and now works fine.
My hat off to you MrMike2182 :good:
Now i'm going to look up how to clear the Knox counter.
Hi,
I have SGH-T599N that has been sitting around for a while and I wanted to give it to my son. When I turn it on, it gets to the initial splash screen with Samsung Exhibit on it, but never gets past there. I went into recovery and did a wipe, but it still will not boot. So I figured I would try to resurrect it with Kies, but I don't see a serial number on it, and even serials I have found on the web don't work.
Looking for any pointers or paths besides junking this and finding another phone. I tried to use fastboot to flash the recovery with CWM to see if I could put another or factory rom on it, but that just sits with a message that it is waiting for the device.
Thanks

Here's a 2-file SGH-T599N_T599NUVAOH1_T599NTMBAOH1_1124899_REV00_user_low_ship.7z - 487.43 MB
It's a user_low_ship so I guess it should still be the same partitions included as in a 4-file.
Back up anything you want to keep before flash. This will wipe everything.
