Debloater for Sony Xperia E1
The following zip file removes every bloatware app that are using space and eating RAM.
Good If you reinstalled your phone, or updated your Firmware.
This script removes 100 bloatware total. There may be more bloatware apps, as I only used Russian Firmware, in my opinion It is the best Firmware which does not eat up RAM, or does not have any issues.
Removes .apk files and .odex files, no app will use .odex files If you remove the apps anyways
I managed to find all Bloatware apps on Xperia E1. (If not please tell me) More speed, and more Battery life!
Please hit thanks If it was helpful!
EDIT 1
-Fixed 2 incorrect paths for some bloatware apps
EDIT 2
-Added 3 more Bloatware (+4 Pre-installed app; Russian Firmware)
EDIT 3
-Added 3 more bloatware! (Thank you xezrunner!)
EDIT 4
-Fixed V3 Debloater (sigh, @Kizoky you dummy!)

Minus Settings, and USB app, You have 150+ RAM
Pre-installed System apps (After debloating)
The boot time drastically decreased, Starting from the Xperia Logo, It is usually 9-12 seconds until the animation turns darker
Note: If you sign into Google Play for the first time, immediately turn off the automatic updates!
What will be deleted?
-Update Center, All Plugins (FB, Twitter, Wikipedia, YouTube), Google Chrome, Settings wizard, Sony apps (exclude Walkman, Album, Video), Google apps (Games, Films, etc..), Sony themes, Sony wallpapers, Widgets, Data logging junks (Anonymous data for ex.), Other junk apps that eating RAM (RetailDemo.apk; ...)
File Commander is NOT DELETED (Good Bloatware app)
Workarounds:
-Album crashes everytime when setting a custom wallpaper (Download this and install it: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2ONZFOkl3m7VzFxRzlkU0hkVk0/edit)
(I removed the Photo Editor app from the list, but If someone doesn't need it, delete it yourself, sorry) (I will edit the Permission for that If you want to delete it from Settings)
If you experience more battery drain than before, the main reason is because an app requests a function from the other app that is no longer exists on your phone
This will cause some apps call scripts/functions from an app which are using the CPU, and the result is faster Battery draining.
Trying different firmwares MAY fix this issue
Confusing Apps:
WALKMAN -- Shake control, can't disable
RetailDemo -- For local retail stores, can't disable
Performance Tweaks:
coming soon!
Debloater versions:
E1KKDebloater.zip -- This will remove everything that is useless, such as Sony apps, services, pre-installed Bloatware (exclude File Commander), System apps
E1KKDebloaterV2.zip -- Same as E1KKDebloater V1, expect that It will not remove Setup wizards, which is Factory reset friendly (Use it with FTF zip creator)
E1KKDebloaterV3.zip -- Final version (Blacklists ANTHal, Dummy apps, and apps that are needed for Factory Reset and etc. etc.)
Decrease the Battery drain:
Many apps has Wakelocks which will wake your phone from Deep Sleep mode, this means whenever you lock your phone It will drain your battery, just like when you use it regularly
To avoid this, flash the Debloater ZIP, and do a Factory reset (optional)
You need root to download Battery save apps, and "main" apps, such as Xposed.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/guide-extreme-battery-life-t3095884
This link gives you a great tutorial on how to save your battery, combining this with my debloater It will decrease the battery draining
So what does the Debloater(s) do?
-Remove .apk and .odex files from app, priv-app, and etc folders
Nothing special, this thing just saves you a lot of time
2016: V3 is fixed now, inside the zip there was an another folder which you couldn't flash (D'uh!)

the .zip file wouldn't do anything to his phone anyways. Maybe I will do a checker on the .zip file before people will use it, regardless If it is for E1 or not
Looks like I broke the wallpapers. I'll find out why, and which app needs it
Tried it, is amazing
It really did remove all the bloat, also removed the built-in "system bloat" apps, so I can remove their updated versions just like a regular app from the app drawer. So far, I only noticed the sound driver to load much faster and some apps open much faster. Nice job!

delete("/system/app/LiveWallpapers.apk");
I have a feeling that this might be the cause of the problem..
Edit:
I just flashed he .zip.. and everything seems to be ok..
Live wallpapers are deleted, and the wallpapers are ok..
The phone really is a lot faster!!
edit: Hangouts and drive app were still installed(probably because they were updated, so the updated version was not deleted, while factory version was deleted).. So I needed to delete them manually
Even with RAM consuming applications like facebook and messenger, my phone is still running smooth!
GOOD JOB (Y)

The problem is in the Sony Album app, It wants to open Photo Editor, which I deleted, and since there is no Photo Editor the app crashes.

Don't know why, but I don't have the problem with the Sony Album app, even thou Photo Editor is deleted..
And there is another bloatware app : File Commander

File Commander is a good bloatware app in my opinion. I always use that If I want to install apps from SD Card and vice versa..
EDIT:
Looks like the Russian Firmware version is using Photo Editor to set wallpapers. And because of this, Album app always crashes when you want to set a custom wallpaper. (Sony wallpapers are fine)
This can be fixed by downloading Photo Editor (google it; Sony Photo Editor apk)

Hey man.tnx for your work.it is so usful.can you made a modified stock rom?
Related
This is the first Android ROM I have "cooked" from two other builds based on MIUI 2.3.9 GB.
: credited to CacingKalung (CK) & zukriaksah (aka Mr ROM porter).
Hence as a tribute to their endeavors, I have named it "CuK".
This has been a learning experience for me and my effort derives itself from the collective work of the developers on xda viz. llorn for the excellent mOCk kernel, the indispensable modules and libraries by TJ_Style & Issac87, and the Android modding community at large.
The objective behind this ROM was to improve on the previous builds, add all the patches available while trying to minimize any bloat in a single rom.
I have kept /system/apps/ to a bare minimum, so as to minimize battery drain.
To get to know what all is required and what all can be done away, I had to take the hard route of trial and error and have flashed and reflashed my phone around a hundred times today itself.
Although due care has been taken to keep this bug free and optimal, please do not blame me for any loss monetary or otherwise happening due to the use of this rom.
Please flash at your own risk. This is my first build and as such I cannot guarantee anything.
The following have been removed from the ROM (Release 1):
Code:
MIUI talk
MIUI status
ChromeBookmarksSyncAdapter.apk
com.google.android.voicesearch-1.apk
Email.apk
GenieWidget.apk
Gmail.apk
GoogleBackupTransport.apk
GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk (calendar sync won't work)
GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk (contact sync won't work)
GooglePartnerSetup.apk
Updater.apk
MarketUpdater.apk
MediaUploader.apk
OneTimeInitializer.apk
pkg_1.2.1.apk
Play.apk
SetupWizard.apk
SpareParts.apk
Talk.apk
Vending.apk
VoiceDialer.apk
Stock wallpapers, some useless resources
All languages except English (even from PicoTTS)
Bootscreens and splash screens have been removed (your previous one shall remain)
All libraries have been handpicked.
I am certain that the incoming call volume is now fixed.
USB tethering works.
Timezone has been set to IST (+5:30)
The following have been included:
- mOCk OC (64 MHz - 2 GHz) and Undervolting kernel with 2 way call recording patch
- 4 Way Reboot Mod
- MIUI Extended Settings Control Panel with centre clock (overscroll mod)
- Jazzk % battery mod (appears with all MIUI themes which don't have a graphical battery)
- Ads blocker hosts included and enhanced to block all Google ads
- ICS Lockscreen (from CK's ROM)
- ICS Latin IME keyboard (from CK's ROM)
- window effect (from CK's ROM)
- Tapedeck app (installs to /data/apps/)
- Modified theme based on Black Ice theme as default (from CK's ROM)
- Spare Parts (CK's ROM accidentally has two versions in the ROM))
- CM7 camera beside MIUI camera (from CK's ROM)
- Angry GPS (from CK's ROM)
- Custom GPS.conf for Indian users
- SD card tweak
- Sony Bravia Engine
- Equalizer app (from zuk's rom)
- X5 settings (from zuk's rom)
- G-sensor calibration app
- E-Compass calibration app
- Power button app (zuk needs it )
- Compass
and the rest of the stock MIUI apps
- init.d tweaks from CK and zuk's roms
Known issues:
Wifi tethering still requires the use of third party apps.
Steps:
Enter clockworkmod recovery
Wipe Data and cache
Flash the zip file linked here.
You needn't wipe dalvik cache since the update script automatically does it.
The first release has been totally deGooglified i.e. no Google Apps have been included, not even some of the background Android services which imo only hog bandwidth and leech battery!
This is intended for those folks who detest bloat and have issues with Google's new privacy policy.
Download Release 1 here...
On request of members, I have made another fully loaded, googlified variant which includes all the system apps.
The stock apps have been replaced with their respective Inverted Google Apps (Gmail, Google+, Voice, Market, Docs, Reader, Translate, Search) and/or updated latest counterparts eg. [APP MOD] Google Maps 6.4.0 ownhere/Brut.all- NAVIGATION all roads..
Release 3:
(This is basically what I intended Release 2 to be.)
No headset issue or incoming call volume issue!
ICS Animations (removed previous ones, shall post a metamorph later for both)
Added Gallery 3D app.
Latest inverted apps.
Jazzk % battery fixed (was accidentally omitted in R2)
Improved GPS config for Indian users (tested).
Also, phone shouldn't heat up now.
Download Release 3 here...
I may be wrong with the liberties I have taken with this ROM.
Please feel free to correct me and post bugs if any and help me learn
Congratssss bro....!
Great work!
(But I think everyone are going to need vending.apk bro... It's Market / Google play)
Sent from my CSL-MI410 MIUI 2.3.9 using tapatalk
I use the inverted market/play (linked above )
I think lack of contact and calendar sync would hurt most (contemplating to include them in the next release) but I think syncing is superfluous when you can backup and restore manually using MIUI backup and Titanium.

Yup... That inverted google apps great, Market is there already.... I want to integrate them to mine since they are black themed also.
I'm also one of some people who always do sync for contacts and gmail (one of my priority mail), but not for calendar.
Once more... great work FR!
(PS: As I think you are also one of some people who like every simple things... May be you like to try lewa launcher on your rom. I posted it here)
Already integrated and testing Release 2 as I speak
And yes, it includes all the "bloatware".
I have tried Lewa launcher but I doesn't appeal to me.

which version of inverted apps i have to download ? ( full pack ET4G version ?)
i believe your first release had few battery hogging services stopped/removed which is not there in second release .
if i download first release and put the inverted apps pack things will be same i guess.
Once again FR .. great work and an impressive release
Downloaded Now, Will Install And Report If I Find Any Bugs
I have inadvertently put an unmodded SystemUI.apk in Release 2. Jazzk mod will not be working.
Shall post a patch later at night when I return home and for converting Release 1 to Release 2.
It would be best for those on Release 1 to wait for my patch since the ics keyboard in the inverted apps flashable pack will conflict and fc.

this is quite an unusual problem.
I'd suggest you to first reinstall lewa launcher, then install some home switcher app from the market and then switch back to the default launcher and then uninstall lewa launcher.
But any case, a fresh install should fix the problem!

update regarding problem : Install ICS launcher from market and no problem yet.....

guys, I think its pointless to post a patch since it itself is like 70 mb in size.
I have released the uot mod for the jazzk % battery.
Those on R2 can simply flash it.
Those on R1 can simply update with R2 without wiping data and then with the uot mod.
Eagerly waiting for MIUI 2.3.16

As far as random reboots there have been numerous members stating this with both XXLS7, XXLSA, and XXLSC. I have never experienced this but can offer some help. It has helped others and they have also not had a random reboot.
You will also need to format /preload
(this seems to be the issue with rebooting)
You may still have issues, and if so there is nothing you can do. Every device is not made equal, so unfortunately you will have to wait for another leak, or the official 4.2.1 from Samsung.
also... if you let your device go flat, then you'll be stuck in a Samsung Flash Stall.. (No boot)
So you can re-flash over the top... or even a clear of /delvik cache and /cache should do the trick.

what is crt off??
Good job. I personally like TW launcher more bcoz of its great features. Though I admit that 600MB free ram is very helpful in LSC which is in short of ram.
Thanks

if first time flash ram always use a little ram, but if you used hour by hour it will increase the ram..so i think when you said
"*Depend on Running App, Device condition. tested on New flash device, using only 220 mb RAM" , maybe you have to try it more time and give us screenshot for prove it , i like this rom because something new about xperia experience and if ram just used a little when we use with long time it will be perfect...
by the way where link for SemcAlbum.apk??
This looks like a nice rom! I wonder if the FMradio is working?
Since this doesn't use the Touchwiz launcher, or does it? it probably isn't working..

So, what's up guys?
Since our L3 is a low end device, I started thinking on how to get things running faster and de-bloat our phones. So... I managed to rip CM9 to it's slimmest point.
What do I get by doing this?
- Approx. 45 MB free (depends on what apps did you delete)
- Faster boot
- Better perfomance (If you flash my slim gapps)
- Lots of free ram! :good:
Before you start, think that every app, every folder and every file that you could possibly delete, has a designed function. Also, this tutorial was written for advanced Android users. Proceed with caution.
Things we'll need...
- WinRAR
- Notepad++
- Our favorite apk's to replace the stock CM9 apps
- Patience
- A beer / Coffee (it's your choice :good

Let's-a-go!
First, you need a rom to work with. Download the latest CM9 nightly from here.
Got it?
Let's work.
Once you got your rom, unzip it.

* = Remove ONLY IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER APP TO REPLACE WITH.
X = You should REALLY remove this.
----------------------------------------------------------
* Apollo.apk - Music player
* Browser.apk - I Personally recommend NakedBrowser to replace it
Calculator.apk
* Camera.apk - Most Play Store camera apps doesn't support camcorder, so it's your choice.
X CMUpdater.apk - Cyanogenmod's update reminder (pretty useless)
X CMWallpapers.apk
X Development.apk - Dev's toolkit (useless for dumb users like me)
X DSPManager.apk - Just audio effects
X Email.apk
X Exchange.apk
X Galaxy4.apk
* Gallery2.apk - CM's gallery app seems to be very laggy. You can use QuickPick instead.
X HoloSpiralWallpaper.apk
X LiveWallpapers.apk
X LiveWallpaperspicker.apk
X MagicSmokeWallpapers.apk
X NoiseField.apk
X PhaseBeam.apk
X PicoTTS.apk - Text to speech engine (You should also remove "/system/tts/" folder)
X QuickSearchBox.apk - Search widget
SoundRecorder.apk
X SpareParts.apk
X STK.apk - Sim Toolkit (depending on you region, this is TOTALLY useless and annoying)
Term.apk - Terminal emulator (many people doesn't even know what is this)
X Trebuchet.apk - Default CM launcher. Laggy and less customizable. Get your favorite launcher. I personally recomend you Smart Launcher!.
X VideoEditor.apk
X VisualizationWallpapers.apk
X VoiceDialer.apk

- TouchWiz Task Manager! End all those ram-eater apps!
DOWNLOAD!
- Adrenaline Boost Script! Clear your system caches and make your L3 fly!
DOWNLOAD!
Tips for better perfomance!
0. [Optional, highly recommended] Get in CWM recovery and wipe cache, dalvik cache and battery stats!
1. Go to settings > apps > running and stop every app. The only things that you should have running are settings process and android keyboard, like this.
2. Then, tap in "show cached processes". A huge list of apps may appear, stop / close them all (except for your home launcher and android system's process)
3. [Optional] Use adrenaline boost script to free wasted ram.
4. [Strictly necessary!] enjoy your free ram! :victory:

Thanks for the tutorial mate!
When I first saw the thread's title, I expect slimming the ROM like those on ICS Slim ROMs (which only have 45-50MBs only), but after doing this, it only reduced from 120~MB to 90~MB.
30~MB is OK, I guess, but I think there are more useless craps that can be deleted out there...
Anyways, thanks again! Re-flashing my Modified Personal L3 CM9 ROM is quite handy now!
Why would this increase RAM/speed up the phone? You're just deleting a few files... I don't get it?
A lil bit, because the there things deleted which in normal case running in backround,i have noticed more free ram,30-50 mb more than before.
GREEEETZ!!!

If you are using Greenify, you'll probably see those System Apps (like Voice Dialer) on system background, and it adds an additional RAM usage. Others, like the video folder and other stuff, are pretty much done to flash the ROM quite faster, I guess...? Oh yeah, and obviously reduces MBs for uploading... my guess again...?
I'm researching on that /system/src/srec/config and as of now I don't have an idea what it does that relates on the OP (Offline Google...?). So, can someone shed some light and share a link for that directory and how is it used?
There are a lot of apps that run in background, like Google Hangouts (aka Talk). No matter how many times you try to close them, they will start running again. So, if you delete those apps, you obviously will get free ram :good:
EDIT: Also, why would you have +10mb of android useless videos? lol

Downloading this to see what you did! How do you intend to "fix" GoogleSearch?
I have Velvet installed on my cm-10.2 (user app). It would FC almost immediately using the libgoogle_recognizer_jni_1.so from the thread. This is closed-source armv7 stuff so sort of cuts us out.
EDITED POST: What I thought was happening was simply wrong: Not the 4.4 Velvet. With what I did have, the following still valid:
That armv7 precompiled close source stuff kills us (if Google is to support "older" devices, it needs to make armv6 precompiled jni's available or make it all open source so we can do them!). However, when I was experimenting with my current configuration, somehow, Google Search's speech input came up. "Initializing en-US." (I have that srec but NOT symlinked in), and then ... it took my voice and used it. Just once, but it did do it! Not an illusion. So maybe this can be fixed up.
EDIT: Conspicous by it absense is the "PrebuiltGMSCore." I did install that, user upgrade to my previous gmscore. Needed by Play and the thread claims that its "prebuilt" version is required by Google Now.
Ext2 partition with cronmod causes boot loop, but nice integration of Google now
nvm. my partitions were messed up

This has been bandied about on the thread, sometimes successful, sometimes not.
In our case, I doubt you will see any benefit. I tried it. First off, there is no offline recognition currently working on our device. No off-line options in settings (if one can get that far), no language kits, nothing.
At our stage, Google Search FC trying to initialize/access off-line voice recognition which is armv7 compiled. Bingo. Edit: The Rashed's old modded version apparently neutralized that call. Clicking mic would, of course, FC.
Dovidhalevi said:

I have Velvet installed on my cm-10.2 (user app). It would FC almost immediately using the libgoogle_recognizer_jni_1.so from the thread. This is closed-source armv7 stuff so sort of cuts us out. However ... brainstorm: Extracted the jni from Rashed's Jan 7 GoogleNow.apk and lo and behold, it starts up, one can do searches, access cards, etc. I can get online voice recognition into it using the voice search assistant widget shortcut and I have that using overlays covering Google Search's mic icons (which are guaranteed FC). Not the most fluid but the thing works.
With the thread's JNI, launcher worked, Google Search FC in a loop. WIth Rashed's, launcher does not find Google Search (which really is the launcher--GoogleHome is a stub and maybe the wallpapers).
With the thread's JNI, I could get to settings->voice if I did it quick enough (before the FC). Offline options not shown. With Rashed's jni, setting->voice FC immediately.

Fortunately, I was able to get a screenshot before the FC popup.

Different thing: I installed it but can't get over the initial settings because the Android keyboard gets FC all the time. Just a corrupt download?
I tried to edit the rom via the Oone editor and install the keyboard i normally use as user app but that won'T help me get over the damn initial settings
Is there actually a way to set a different keyboard than the AOSP as default?
Edit: Found the solution 3 seconds after posting -.- I didn't have the German pack in the LatinME installed, but chosen in the initial settings. That made it crash.
However the question how to set an alternative keyboard as default still interests me, though it might be a little OT

Thanks bro already contacted him via xda will try this other site now and as well as this i would like to report a few bugs---- some of the apps are in chinese dont understand------ shame gps location seems to fail everytime----- The restart button does not work as mentioned in the description however all over this rom is 8/10 considering i was allowed to install gapps allowing me to enjoy all those google goodies. To improve the rom make sure the chinese apps are either translated properly or replaced that the restart button works, rootable with magisk , comes with google play automatically and lastly gps works!!

Bro look all u got to do is wipe your phone from twrp full plug ur phone into computer in fastboot mode blue flashy thing yh? Then go to adb now type in again as done before to get twrp orginially this... Fastboot flash recovery and what ever you have called twrp recovery then.img hit enter. That's done now u will reboot into twrp as usual then install the WORKING ROM
One stumbling block: you guys need to give some more detailed steps on how to flash it
e.g.
/system
/oem
need to be deselected from [Mount] !
[ ] /system
[ ] /oem
Otherwise there will be an error message that /system & /oem partitions are busy !
(might happen only with certain TWRP versions or all).
I'm sure several people will not be able to solve this in their own.
I really like how (relatively) low the battery consumption is with this ROM when not using GApps, that whole Gapps & GMS is a major PITA !
Also this helps me speed up to disconnect from the social media & always on frenzy (YouTube, FB, Email, etc.)
However: one really annoying thing is the big issue with sound clarity - only with DSEE HX, high volume or headphones with high ohms it's bearable all of the time,
also: ANC (automatic headphone, sound optimization) doesn NOT work - but that's not really an issue (at least for me), since I'm not using it and it almost damaged my ears once (the volume got too loud with it on Stock and some other issues)
Great work !
Many thanks to the ROM creator !
I took me some time to come up with alternatives from my default / favorite apps I'm using from the Play Store, but via apkmirror, and other apk pools it's mostly other apps that I used, too at one time via Play Store.
edit:
Bug List:
Restart of shutdown menu is not available --> actually it hangs there when pressing reboot [overlay ?], so only use the other button

it's stable
using it mostly for browsing & listening to music so far (with DSEE HX enabled in Equalizer & phonograph), battery consumption looks reasonable (1% per hour for music at Airplane Mode),
in WiFi Mode Web browsing is smooth and snappy (Sony's hacked & optimized HAL2 (?)) and doesn't seem to consume too much battery (comparable with Marshmallow ?)
All with the included (rooted) stock kernel.
It's a bit of getting used to the Flyme OS launcher (Nova doesn't seem to stick permanently, so you're stuck with the Flyme OS launcher) but it's okay so far
Can't say more right now.

There supposedly is a "google installer" in Flyme OS' app store - you tried that ?
There also might a manual way to do it
@zacharias.maladroit thanks... Like tha rom isnt stocked based right like xperia xposed module wont work!?
Magisk working?
Thanks again man.

The core base is Stock (32.4.A.1.54) but since the UI, etc. is Flyme OS specific the settings for Themes, Settings, etc. will not work - so
in short: no, probably will not work
I'm using the bundled SuperSU (there's a zip-file included which gets applied during installation of the ROM as 2nd stage),
so by modifying the ROM installation script (removing SuperSU) you should be able to use Magisk,
haven't tested though - so it could be possible that it's not booting or other issues
Thanks @zacharias.maladroit....
Just want something more stable with XZs or XZ2 feelings.

I tried installing magisk twice in fact and I can tell you it's hopeless so don't even bother guys Rom was nice but it just had too many Chinese and unfamiliar setting which I am not used to overall great Rom tho

yeah, that MIUI-/iOS-like look with the different launcher isn't everyone's taste,
it looks though like the launcher can be switched and e.g. Nova Launcher set as new default (just saw that there is a nice default list of apps that can be set)

what were the issues you were running into ?
That FlymeOS app store really isn't an optimal solution - it keeps on overwriting the MX Player variant I downloaded via apk mirror with an older version that doesn't work on our device and that version needs an additional NEON codec installed,
so removed the App Store, perhaps will install Google Playstore later - but for now the battery runtime, stability, consistence of experience, etc. is more important to me
Also: the battery runtime looks really great !
e.g. watching recorded movies or other stuff locally - with very low brightness (in the evening there's not really much brightness needed),
the extrapolated time was 10-12 hours (it consumed 10 % for 90 minutes which afaik is much better than on 32.4.A.1.54 Sony Stock)
This beats the test results from gsmarena (4 hours) by a ton [ https://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_z5-review-1326p3.php ]
Looks like I need to take a system backup and compare the results with a custom stock kernel and see if battery performance really gets that much worse with custom kernels,
or if it's the Flyme OS base without Google bloat & drain which is the main culprit.
pls help me
