Hi,
I recently got Samsung galaxy S... and this is my first android phone... I am very confused with the battery backup that I am getting... The battery drains like anything...
Today morning I charged my phone to 100% and after a usage of 30-40 mins on Voice Calls and 30 mins play of Angry Birds.. the battery level is now 31%...
Is it normal? With no live papers, brightness as automatic, No GPS/WiFi active... No data connection active... Advanced task killer for checking on any open apps...
Even in the night on the standby, the battery drains for 10-12%...
Build No. is ECLAIR.DDJG4
Kernel Version: 2.6.29 jh755.kim SE-S605#2
Any thoughts on how to improve the battery life ????
Thanks,
Guru
After upgrade Galaxy S to Gingerbread 2.3.3, suffering a huge battery drain.
On Froyo 2.2.1 my Samsung i9000 phone ate 2% of battery over the night.
Now on Gingerbread 2.3.3 my Samsung i9000 eats 70% to 80% battery over night!
In battery Battery Use Stats, Android OS, eats more battery then my Display even when im using my phone.
Huge Battery Drain about as Huge as the number of posts on battery drain .
Please contribute to a big search button or use the small one until we can afford a huge search button .

My ace's battery is not even lasting half day even with no major use. (Just some calls). Using code *#*#4636#*#* mentioned in one of the post here i checked for my battery health. The health is good but the battery voltage is shown as 3.0V . I suppose it is 5.0V for Ace.
Is my battery faulty ? or there is some other problem? Also please suggest any way to find the correct battery health.
I am currently using official Gingerbread 2.3.6. Thanks in advance
I had even weirder situation, when my battery would drain minutes after charging.
I tried every battery calibration, saver whatnot but it didn't help.
So i wen't and bought a new one, and voila, my problems were solved
It seems that batteries don't last that long as they used to...

Those who are having issues with battery can use Juice Defender!! It really helps
Whenever u install it, set it to Agressive Mode
hi all,
i got S3 mini 1.5 yrs back. Recently my battery backup was very erratic. Within 30 mins battery will charge to 100% and when battery level is around 60% with WIFI ON there will be a drastic decrease in battery and phone will automatically restart.
Until i plug in for charging phone restarts multiple times.
I reset my phone and even after it was happening.
Currently in my s3 mini the battery which came with the phone is "ebf1m7flu".
But in india S3 mini is not available and hence the original battery for S3 mini is also not available.
But all the shops are suggesting this battery model "eb425161lu" ( this is for samsung s duos) which has same specifications has the above one.
is it safe to use this battery model("eb425161lu") for S3 mini ?
Please suggest for any other alternatives.
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone here has got the galaxy watch 3 synced to their phone. If so, how's the phone's battery faring with the sync?
Amit
The battery life is fine. I had the s20+ and it's a bit better now with the ultra. The watch plug in takes 0.2% of my daily battery life.
