hi all,
i got S3 mini 1.5 yrs back. Recently my battery backup was very erratic. Within 30 mins battery will charge to 100% and when battery level is around 60% with WIFI ON there will be a drastic decrease in battery and phone will automatically restart.
Until i plug in for charging phone restarts multiple times.
I reset my phone and even after it was happening.
Currently in my s3 mini the battery which came with the phone is "ebf1m7flu".
But in india S3 mini is not available and hence the original battery for S3 mini is also not available.
But all the shops are suggesting this battery model "eb425161lu" ( this is for samsung s duos) which has same specifications has the above one.
is it safe to use this battery model("eb425161lu") for S3 mini ?
Please suggest for any other alternatives.

My ace's battery is not even lasting half day even with no major use. (Just some calls). Using code *#*#4636#*#* mentioned in one of the post here i checked for my battery health. The health is good but the battery voltage is shown as 3.0V . I suppose it is 5.0V for Ace.
Is my battery faulty ? or there is some other problem? Also please suggest any way to find the correct battery health.
I am currently using official Gingerbread 2.3.6. Thanks in advance
I had even weirder situation, when my battery would drain minutes after charging.
I tried every battery calibration, saver whatnot but it didn't help.
So i wen't and bought a new one, and voila, my problems were solved
It seems that batteries don't last that long as they used to...

First post, so hi everyone!
I bought this Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 about a year ago, it runs the original firmware with the recent Samsung update to 4.2.
Lately the battery life has become very short. This was not a gradual change, but something that seemingly happened over night. I charge the device with a travel adapter that claims to output up to 1 A. The battery monitor shows that charging works as expected and the device charges to 100 % .
In use the battery shows 100 % for a while, but after about 20 to 30 mins jumps to 4 % , giving me the low batter warning. I am travelling and the only change I can think of is, that mains power here in Canada is 110 V instead of the 220 V back home in Europe, not that I expect that to be a problem.
I don't notice the device getting warmer than usual, so I don't believe, that the battery really charges to 100 %. Is there anything on the software side I can do to investigate this further?
Thanks for any advice!

Hi,
my galaxy gear, connected to my galaxy s3 (stock rom), works perfectly with the old firmware (android) and i used to recharge it every 3 days.
Now, with Tizen, i had to charge the battery every day!!!
Do you have my same problem?
Thanks
I have a problem. since I have installed Cyanogenmod 12 on my Samsung galaxy s4 active GT I9295, my phone heats up quickly and I lose a lot a lot of battery quickly. what can I do please? thanks
hey guys... I'm back
actually I've had bought a original battery from my phone(made in japan, finished in korea, and bought it in official samsung store in davao city, philippines which i've bought it Php700+) cuz my older battery died(its fvcking swelling)
and I've tried a healthy charge by turning off the phone while charging and charge it in 3 hours(cuz its new) and after 100%, i've played it for a long time and got drained. And while I'm charging(original stock samsung charger)for just 15 minutes it got stuck to 1%(power off) and re-insert the charger. After I insert the charger, it shows 61% and after an hour, it says it charged 100%. I didn't believe it's 100% so I've re-insert my charger again(and my battery) and while charging in 30 minutes, it still stuck in 99%.
I've tried some battery calibrations but it made the situation worse(it made my battery meter stuck to 50%) so I've tried my insticts: ODIN mode(just to check and remove the batterystats.bin bloat)
and actually, it removed the bloatware, but still the problem is there
I've roamed around the internet and i've found that you must need a battery calibration by charging it to fully 100%(i can't do that cuz it just forever stuck to 99%) and drain it to 0% by turning on the phone while it's low battery until it won't turn on(tried this twice), and charge it in 100%(attempts to charge it but it jumps to 1% to 31%) and repeat the cycle until you felt the phone is getting drained slowly-not fast AF(i've felt it drains fast AF)
[I've tried those and pls. I need some help cuz it's just a waste of money just to buy another battery for my phone.]

android 2.3(AOSP but managed it to stock by using odin)
901mb or ram(swapped by ramexpander)
1.25ghz single-core cpu(overclocked by riskey kernel but it might affect the battery so i've just put it to 832mhz minimum and 832mhz maximum using antutu cpu master pro)
Superuser(rooted phone/rotted phone)
ok there are the proof(or attachments)
right now my phone's battery was still ok, but still gets instantly 100%
