My GT-i8190 died on me so i had broken screen on another phone which is a GT-i8200N so i put the mboard into my phone and luckily it booted up but now im stuck with stock rom as ive looked allover the place on here and everything is aimed at the i8190.
Is there any custom Rom for this phone or im throwing it in the bin. lol
BTW: its also simlocked and i cant figure out how to unlock it.

it started when i wanted to upgrade my galaxy tab to 2.3.3 gingerbread but something went wrong on oden and my galaxy stucked at screen of death (that screen that has a mobile icon pc and an exclamation mark) anyway i got out of it using hiemdall but now iam stucked at adroid system recovery 3e how to go back to the OS and also i can go to download screen ......

Well I can tell you how to completely brick your tab but I, probably as well as most of the people who viewed your post, don't know how to fix...
Doesn't take much to view a post, less to give bad advice... Requires patience to get the person who can help, to find your post and answer...
You also have a cdma tab, i believe, that's bad as most people have the gsm variant. It also means that steps I take to rectify your problem on my tab will probably brick yours...
Now, would you like me to tell you how to fix MY tab???
Also, no idea what you were on, what you were trying to flash, rooted or unrooted, locked bootloader check done and cdma, wifi-only or gsm??? We need this information before we can help.
thnx for your reply ultra. my phone is gsm (the one that i can insert sim card) and its rooted and i was updating to ginerbread when oden stucked at factoryfs and failed and it bricked i used hiemdall to skip the pc screen and go to download screen so what can i do know ????????

1st thing I'd do is get my stock froyo rom... The one that came on the gtab. reflash that and then try again from there if successful...
You night find your stock rom here on xda or you might need to go further afield like samfirmware. I'd also, if back on stock rom, test to make sure my bootloaders weren't locked otherwise you may end up here again....

Did you check to see if you had a locked bootloader before attempting to flash?
Which rom/guide did you use/follow?
Have you tried the Overcome rom/guide?
Alright guys. So, I rooted my galaxy tab initially when I first got it. Well after a while it got messed up and was stuck on downloading the gingerbread update and pretty much locked up. Well I took another look at it yesterday. Got everything down, flashed the stock VZW rom and powered her up.
So, now doing some looking the only thing I can find to root it is re-flashing part of the rom (using oden and CF-Root-TAB7_XX_OXA_JQ1-v3.3-CWM3RFS) . Tried this (about 4 times) and when I try it. All I get is a white line, samsung logo, restart. No recovery mode, No nothing. Except download mode.
So. Am I just stuck to far up my own ... to see the solution?

Android user for 1 year, i soft bricked my phone sereval time when I wasn't really experimented. I hard-bricked my phone once and it didn't charge or enter the Download Mode and it didn't charge. I don't even know how that happened even today, i think i flashed a wrong ROM with odin. I took it to my carrier shop and they replaced it for free since I didn't tell them i ever flashed it or something. The paper that they gave me said that the Motherboard was broken.
Now.. How could that happen? How can i avoid that? I am currently on a custom ROM (CyanogenMod 7).

I've inherited my sons Galaxy Ace 5830 as my fishing phone which is a UK phone on O2. My main phone is an S4 on O2 too so no problem there.
I've rooted it and installed a few Roms with no issue on my current Sim
I now wish to run it on a different Sim I have but I've not unlocked it before rooting so the Galaxy Ace Unlock/Busybox unlock method fails.
I'm assuming I need to go back to the standard Rom to do this? I've asked O2 for the Unlock code but they appear to be deaf currently even though my son is still with them upgraded to a SG3 Mini
I use Mac computers at home so I'm hoping I can just download the original Rom from somewhere? and install from the SD Card? I've searched and all the info I can find mentions Odin to get back to standard Rom?
Just looking for some pointers really cheers

Odin is really recomended, but there is another way. You can install a custom stock based rom from recovery.
For example, flash the stocklite rom through recovery and then try the method to unlock it.
If it still fails, then get hold of a windows pc and install odin.

I can't seem to find a Stock Lite Rom? Maybe Odin is the only way unless O2 get their finger out...also assuming I can apply the unlock code to a rooted phone running CyanagenMod?

Got into a boot loop at one point but now unlocked and back on CyanogenMod

Hello i had this phone yrs a go and was playing on it yrs a go and now i need a phone i cant get it to work. if i remember right i put a new rom on it but it did not work and now im trying to put any rom on it just to get it to work. at the moment all im getting it Galaxy S screen Black and white one. and cant get in to the bios. but can get into the download sceen. eg to link to PC vi Odin is it Fed or can i stat over. Whould love Kitkat on it
