If your phone supports sd card maybe it comes to D:\WPSystem\SharedData\DU
or something else but I can't remember the c: path
I think It is same as SD. (Simply Mount .FFU)
C:\Data\SharedData\DUShared
C:\Data\SharedData\DUPrivate
C:\Data\SystemData\DU

since im working this days pretty far from my home i arrive late to my home perhaps in my work i have my usb wire so i can use the massive storage.
the thing its the files for linux like .nomedia and so on, so i cant copy to windows and then copy again to the new SD since i dont have time to install linux at home (and maybe i dont have space lol ) so anyway to do in windows? because i buy a 8 gb SD and i need transfer all my files :s thanks =D
Why do you need the .nomedia files? Can't you just show hidden files in windows and copy them all?
You don't even need to install linux, just grab a live cd and your good to go.

you know, I'm sorry for the dumb question.
I've just selected all, copy, and pasted onto a new card.
Does this not copy everything?
sorry, nevermind, I read that wrong

could be, perhaps windows take some files and "configure" or add a extension for this files and do not a copy. for example try make a .nomedia file in windows and you have an error, so when you copy windows could not copy or rename or add a extension .
but maybe in some cases do a exact copy, not happen to me at least on w7 isnt copy all files ._.
So I accidentally deleted this file. Are there any links to DL another one around here? Sorry if I put this in the wrong area...
So I found the file, tried to re-root but can't seem to find why it won't work. Then I deleted the file attempting to return to a stock state in my SD card. But when I try to use the One Click Root it has an issue with the update.zip file...

Sorry, I'm not sure what that means...
How did you go about rooting in the first place? One click root?
If so, grab the root.zip file from wherever you extracted it, stick it on your internal sd card and rename it to update.zip- and just because I'm feeling extra generous tonight, I've attached said root.zip
(This one is a couple versions old, but it should update through the market after you apply it)
Does someone know where the OTA update file is downloaded, exact location? i have checked /cache and there is update.zip or different file, but phone says update ready with posibility to install update, so for sure zip is downloaded somewhere, but can't find the right location
Thanks in advance
Depends what version you're on.
Early versions 4.2.1 stored in download folder .
Not sure where later version stored
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app

I would suggest to make sure the OTA downloads and then use a file explorer to search your sdcard for zipfiles. One of those should be the OTA, my guess would also be the Download folder.
Using pocket file manager 4.3.6.0 i have gained access to the WPSystem folder on my sd card. I would like to edit some of these files like deleting/copying. But all the file managers are unable to do so. Why is this?
not after Update1 I am afraid

Thank you for your reply. So the problem is an update has blocked permission capabilities but dosent block ability to view the folder. That update would be from the app itself and not from the OS side. Makes sense.
Hi guys,
This for reporting a thing that is happening to me with my OnePlus3T.
I noticed this issue only for the specific file shown in the screenshots.
The file affected is the only one stored in the "ModdingRen" folder.
I am able to delete the entire "ModdingRen" folder from my PC but the file and the folder are not effectively deleted as I can see from any file explorer app.
More than this, I am not able to delete the file or the folder directly from the smartphone; doing this the operations fails as you can see from the error screenshot.
Have anyone never experienced an issue like this one?
is there an app associated with this folder? kill that app
or try to delete it from /data/media/0/

I was able to successfully delete the file and the folder from the " /data/media/0/" path! Really thanks mate!
Any reason for this?

I know multirom does some trickery to prevent apps from messing with your roms whilst still keeping them available.
