Wireless charging back cover - G4 Accessories

Does anyone know when a wireless charging enabled back cover is likely to be released and any pricing?

I'm also curious to know about this. I keep searching Amazon, but haven't seen anything yet. There is a thread talking about a wireless charging sticker or something, but I'd rather wait till something comes available on Amazon rather than order on some site I've never heard of.

On the G3 there were (supposedly) OEM stickers, or you could buy the back covers with them already in (supposedly also OEM) I got one and put it in myself and it worked great. Just gotta wait for then to come around. probably wont be long.

Yeah there's a post on this section about some stickers already available from China, but nobody has reported back yet on how they work. Plus I think I'll wait till an actual back replacement comes out. What I'd love is a good sturdy case that protects the phone while replacing the back at the same time. You'd have the benefit of a strong case, with a slim profile. Kind of like the quick circle, but beefier, and without the flap.

I know that the Quick-Circkel case has Wireless charging in it.. But you probably don't want a flap on your phone.. #flapphone..

Yeah you're right. I wouldn't mind something like the quick circle, minus the flap. Because it seems like it's about the same thickness as the normal back. Then i could put a case on top of it. But yeah I don't like the flap, and I want a sturdy case. And I want wireless charging. I want it all! :silly:

I gave up looking for the LG G3 and then they apparently came out. LOL. I had a sticker for my S4 and it worked nicely, but did add a little bulk to the back. There wasn't much room for it.

Well hopefully in the next few weeks something might come out. I may end up having to try a sticker, but worried about frying my $600 phone with an $8 coil lol.

I don't trust things from weird websites. Even eBay can be a bit fishy for me. I'll wait until I see them on Amazon and purchase them from there. At least I would have some recourse if there were an issue.

Yep, I'm with you. I'm going to wait for something on Amazon. They always take care of me.

There have just been too many horror stories for unauthorized 3rd-party accessories (especially with iPhones and iPads), but not unheard of with other brands where damage was caused by unauthorized adapters, chargers, wires, etc. Not taking any chances!

Agreed 100% here.
I would love the new G4 but the lack of Qi is pissing me off. I can't understand why they don't make this standard. If you have never used Wireless Charging, you may think it is a stupid perk, but let me tell you, it is not. I have wireless charging pads on my desk at work, home, and bedside. I use the Nokia Qi Charger with multipoint that allows me to pretty much plop it down any way and it starts charging.
Sure it isn't a QUICK charge (which sucks btw, slow charging is better), but amazing... especially bed side.
I am looking online and only see the Folio cases which are absurdly expensive. NO Way am I spending $60 for a feature that should be there in the first place. The little QI coils are basically a single thin strand of wire.
Plus I want an OFFICIAL backplate... and it also (hopefully) doesn't add additional thickness because I want to use a Feather case.
Guess this purchase is on the fence. My G2 is still rocking. I am in no hurry to get rid of it.

I'm coming from the Verizon G2, but can tell you first hand the G4 is 1000% better, faster, strong, and lighter. Better camera, better battery life, better screen, etc, etc, etc.... Sure I miss the wireless capabilities of my G2, that's why I've ordered a wireless sticker from China!
Thread on the stickers here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/wireless-charging-sticker-available-t3119594

Man you are preaching to the choir. I decided that wireless charging is a must have with my next phone, partially because the charging port on my old phones always wear out from my incessant plugging and unplugging, but mostly because of how frigging convenient it is. And like you, I was also pissed to find out the G4 was not coming with it so I was seriously considering the Galaxy S6. But I was still on the fence because of other features on the G4. But the free 128gb SD card and free battery, cradle, and 32gb SD card threw me on the G4 side. And I am glad I did. Loving the phone. Typing on it right now. [emoji3] But I will not be set back. I WILL have wireless charging, I'm just going to have to wait a bit. Even if I have to buy the quick circle and hack off the stupid flap. Wonder if a normal case would fit on it then? Also don't want to spend $50 on a case only to rip it apart lol. Anyway. C'est la vie.

Ah crop just realized NY user ID changed cause I posted with Tapatalk. I'm paqmanbiker.

Wow autocorrect. Anyway, natepacker, paqmanbiker, call me what you want, it's both me lol. I've got Tapatalk figured out now. It's near impossible to type in desktop versions of forums on a phone. Is it just me? The cursor jumps all over the place and types words in weird spots? Not just on my G4, any phone. Tapatalk is nice though.

I'm in the same boat... Coming for a VZW G2.... I need wireless charging on my G4!!!!!!!!!

I also have a VS980 and want the G4 but would be really annoyed not being able to use the 4 wireless chargers I own!

Wireless charging backs and stickers will be available soon. Just be patient. The phone just came out in the US.

Did they ever come out with a back for the G3?

Yes. Just did a simple list on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...ords=wireless+charging+back+for+lg+g3&x=0&y=0

Inexpensive charging dock from Smartphonepedia

Just received this dock and have been using it for a couple of days.
Only $10 -- a cheap alternative so some of the 40-50$ options.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Data-Sy...531363?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3f1de5aea3
It's small, feels like a decent quality piece. It's glossy black with rubber feet on the bottom so it doesn't slide around. It keeps the Note 2 supported nicely when it's dropped in. It's got a floppy rubbery insert that you can take out if you have a case.
One con is that a few times when I've yanked my phone out, the rubber piece has either partially or completely come out. My advice would be to decide on a case of not and, if you leave the rubber insert in, put a drop of hot glue or something to keep the insert in place.
See pics below. Let me know if you have questions.
Does it work with the slimmer cases?

What voltage and amperes does it deliver?

I think it's cool man, it's just a simple charging dock. Great to keep at the office or your bedside.
So the only difference then my stock cable is my phone will be standing upward?...Lol...

Yes, it works with a slim case for me without even taking the rubber insert out. When you take the rubber insert out, there's a good 0.5-0.75cm around it, particularly the edges. A case with a big beefy back probably would not fit.

It doesn't come with a cable -- you use your phone's provided cable or anything else, so whatever those deliver. I just have a usb-to-microusb running from my computer to it and it works fine.

Sheesh guys. Think a little more outside your own world.
I have this dock connected to my computer at work. I walk in from a meeting, drop the phone in the charger (instead of setting it down, picking up the cable, jamming it in, etc) and it's immediately mounted as a drive on my computer and is charging anytime I'm at my desk. Need to run to a meeting? You just pick it up...no fussing with cables.
Nope, no spare battery. Surprise, most people don't need one. I spend half my day working at my desk, meaning my phone is charging half the day. In fact, I don't even feel like I ever "charge". It's just sitting in its stand. I never need to plug it in at home.
Nope, no USB or HDMI. Surprise, 99% of the people that use this phone care about that, so why pay for a $100 for a dock with it (that's the wrong color, BTW).
20 bucks? Wow, they saw you coming a mile off.
It's the same dock as this, which is in black or white.

Different dock and doesn't ship to the US. But yes, I see your point, there are cheaper alternatives on ebay. Thanks for trying to make me feel like an idiot, Baron. You are very thoughtful.

While their prices aren't always the best, I do like Smartphonepedia's video reviews on youtube (the full shows, not the 30 second blips) and the guys there are very pro-android and know their devices. I would throw business at them vs a random guy on ebay any day.

You can just plug the phone into the dock without having to pick up the charge cable and plug it into the phone. Same for removing it from the dock. Since we have to charge the phone everyday, I would say the dock has a value.

Wireless charging solutions?

Has anyone seen any 3rd party solutions for this yet? Cases, etc?
I miss it to death, can't seem to forget how nice it was on the N5. Especially with the not-so-great battery life, would be really nice to be able to place it on a charging pad at work or home when not using it.
I'm considering switching to N6 just for this, even with the downside of not being able to fit it in my pants pocket... on that note btw, after playing with the N6 and Note4 at the store, the Moto X feels tiny in my hands now!!

One reviewer says that it works just fine with the X. You could probably also stick it behind the case back if you're willing to open it up.
Yep I ordered it yesterday. Will give it a try with a case this evening and post how well it works. Not sure I'm ready to take off the back just yet, ha.

Works quite well with the i-Blason case. I got that exact wireless charger insert, just fit it between case and the device. I also cut the top off the charger, otherwise it was sticking too far out into the "dimple" of the case.
I am not a big fan of cases and would like to eventually just stick this behind the back cover - anyone know if the back cover is tough to take off?
Anyone look into an internal mod yet? Anyone able to take the back off safely and put this inside?

[Q] Smart Wireless Charging Phone Sleeve for Nexus 6

Guys, I'm going to be launching a wireless charging phone sleeve on Kickstarter (Novelsys ampere) in January for the Nexus 6. The unique selling point will be the Smart app that communicates with the sleeve.
I'm doing research for the launch now to determine what features to incorporate in this app:
Display estimated battery life in hrs of phone and ampere
Control when charging starts
find your phone or ampere when one is missing
notifications to recharge at time or location
What other features would you like to see? I've recently posted in the S5 and Nexus 5 forums too, and I've been told not to dilute the product, which I agree with heartily. These are the features I've narrowed it down to. What other things do you think we need to bake in? It will probably be open to developers post-Kickstarter.
I myself use a Nexus 4 with Qi built in but I haven't found a satisfactory wireless charging solution yet... that's kinda why I worked on my own.
See more about the product: http://kickstarter.novelsys.co
Just subscribed on your website
Okay so this is meant to protect the phone and charge it at the same time? Im assuming there is a battery inside the case as well as a qi transmitter?
That's right. Paired with an app. And higher build quality than from your typical Qi charger. What do you think about the idea?
Subscribed as well...if you need a beta tester let me know.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Free mobile app
Looks excellent, but you need to figure out a solution to why sleeves suck, they either have no top and don't hold the phone well or are too tight.
As long as it comes in black so I can keep it on with my uniform!
I'll beta if I need to as well!
Would you like my wallet now, or later?
Seriously, I hope this will be as good as it sounds.
Yes its black, and the internal colour has been changed from orange to grey so its more suitable for corporate environments!
That's an interesting perspective on sleeves. Yes will take that into account when testing.
aiight, im jumping on the bandwagon too. :fingers-crossed:
just subb'ed and am following you cats on instagram...
I think I'm getting a QI enabled power bank for Christmas..... But a sleeve makes much more sense! I think its a great idea. Definitely more secure and will keep the QI aligned to ensure it stays charging.
Any info about the mah of the sleeve for the Nexus 6. Would need to be enough to charge the device at least twice in my opinion.
What about a using magnets to help secure the phone inside the sleeve instead of just tension?
Sent from my Nexus 6 using XDA Premium HD
honestly seems like a pretty good idea, the potential problems I see for this are targeting the correct consumer base. The phone is already big, this will make it huge, therefore its not going in anyones pocket. So, who carries phones around not in a pocket? People that have other places to put them, who has other places to put them?
1. Women (in their purse)
2. Older executives in a briefcase maybe?
3. College kids who might carry a backpack?
I may be wrong, but as much as I would like something like this, its just too inconvenient not to have my phone in my pocket. There's still some clip phone people out there, maybe adding a clip would help? Just my 2 cents, love the idea, just concerned its not being designed for the right demographic aesthetically.
The problem for me as others have mentioned is the bulkiness of the sleeve. When you add in the 3,000mah battery (assuming it would at least be this size) and coils for qi charging it's going to pretty thick. I'm Ok with that because this would be on my visor in my work truck, but wouldn't go great in pocket.
if you are taking the no idea is a bad idea approach, what if you incorporated this into a car mount with the display revealed, so every day I got into my car I could slide it in, and it would charge, then I could slide it out and take it with me, or if I KNEW i was going to need extra battery, I could detach the whole thing and clip it to a belt or throw it in a pack?

Agree with this idea!
I don't mean to intercept, but in the meantime and between time...
I've received this pouch/sleeve (handmade) and posted a bit about it here:

Very cool idea man. I'll back that.
It looks promising, is there rough price range for the sleeve?

That's a pretty sweet idea! Maybe that could come as a stretch goal or in the next iteration of ampere. I originally included a pocket at the back of the sleeve for cards and cash but didn't like the aesthetics/ bulk of it. That could actually have been space for a belt clip. Hmm. I could find some way to hack around it maybe.... thanks for the brilliant idea.

Please, feel free to share. I've been searching tirelessly for potential competitors too so I can learn how to improve ampere's user experience.
You know what, that's where I got the idea for ampere too, but I think I've made ampere sufficiently sexy, slim, and seamless with alignment + smart charging app that you'll at least consider it over that? If you must know, that was what I put together for the MVP (prototype) to prove product validation. So I guess you can say you just recreated ampere v1.

I thought about magnets too, but the sleeve itself helps with securing the phone and alignment. Magnets would make it harder to get the phone out of the sleeve, and would necessitate some kind of strap to lift the phone out, which in turn adds some to bulk.

Ankway LG G4 Qi Circle Case review

I posted this on Amazon but I would like to share this with the people at XDA also.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0126P8U4Y?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
This is a great alternative to the official circle case from LG.
I have tested a few of the other ones available and this is the only one that checks all the marks.
It has Qi wireless charging.
It has NFC.
It auto activates whatever circle apps you have installed when you close it.
It auto turns the screen on and if you have swipe to unlock, it even unlocks your phone.
It actually closes all the way (this is huge as it is the first I have tried that does).
It adds almost no bulk to your device.
I can not say enough about this case. It just works as it should with no surprises.
If you compare this to the official LG Qi Circle Case, this one gives you everything that one does, and is much cheaper.
How much cheaper?
The official one is $59.99 + shipping and tax.
This one is $12.99 with free shipping and usually no tax.
Not counting shipping and tax this is a minimum of $47.00 cheaper.
And you get all the same functionality and looks.
The back of the case feels exactly like the smooth plastic LG backs.
The front and side has a almost cloth feel to them.
The side looks like it will hold up for a very long time and not crack like some of the cheaper ones.
The back fits perfectly where your original back would be.
It also has a lip on the side and some protection on the corners to prevent damage from small drops.
Overall I have no issues at all with this case and will probably buy a second one in a different color soon.
Easily a 5/5 product!
I will try and answer any questions you may have about this product.

I just bought it on Amazon at your recommendation. Thanks I guess if I want to use Qi charging I just need to get LG Electronics WCP-300 Wireless Charging Pad for Qi Enabled Devices, is that about right?
Any Qi charging pad will work.
I have ones made by quite a few manufacturers..
The best ones I have used are made by Spigen and Choetech.
This is the Spigen one I have http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Charger-Spigen®-Charging-Premium/dp/B00UGIA0WY

I hope you enjoy your new case.
I got one of these based on your review, and your review is spot on. This is a fantastic case at double the price! Also 5/5 from me.

I am glad you are enjoying your new case.
I guess I just hate circle cases. It's my first circle case of any kind. I felt it added no protection, especially for the camera. I also didn't like the flap cover, just feels cumbersome and flimsy to me. That said, the wireless charging is great. I stripped out the sticker and installed it onto my original back and love it. The case worked like it was supposed to and if I were to use a circle case I'd probably pick this one based on functionality alone. The cover stays closed, charges great, works like it is supposed to.

About 60% of the speed of a plug in style charger.
I charge my phone on the Spigen Qi charger overnight and just use the other Qi chargers during the day to keep my phone topped off so I never run out of battery.
Saw that ankway is having a flash sale on this case.
It is only active for a few more hours but I figured I would let you all know just in case you can catch it.

Discounts it down to $9.86
Anybody know where to buy this case in Europe?
...any chance I could rip the stupid door off and use it with a real case?
I bought the same case. I've had mine for about a month. The Qi charging pad seems a little too thick, it causes the case to stick up a little bit below the volume down button . Also, the bottom left (from the front) of the case is cracked from a 3-4 foot drop. I still really like the case and would have no problem at all spending the $12-$14 on another one.

SAVFY Battery Case

Got a 'SAVFY' charging case for just £11.38 shipped off eBay. The battery of the S7 Edge seems excellent so far, but if, like me, you go on many football away days etc, you'll easily get through it in a day. Anyway, it looks as though SAVFY is just a knock-off Chinese brand, but I've used knock-off Chinese batteries before with good results (with one exception) and for less than £12 it seems a bargain. Here's an Amazon listing for the case: https://www.amazon.com/Charger-SAVFY-Portable-External-Rechargeable/dp/B01EN0JVAW
Mixed reception online it seems. One fella said the battery died after charging to just 30% (to me that sounds like a duff one), while others complained about the colours and tactility of the case. It claims to be 5200mAH but not sure how I'd really test that.
Quite a few of the negative comments are to do with the manufacturing materials, as such I would really advise anyone who does buy this case.....
BUY THE BLACK ONE. If you have a white phone, buy the black one, if you have a black phone, buy the black one, if you have a green with yellow spots phone, buy the black one. The reason why? The non-black colours are 'glossy', a bit like enamel or a hard plastic texture. One of the photos in the link above shows the Rose Gold one and you can see the hard plastic reflecting in the light. The plastic is also hard and feels brittle and will probably break if dropped.
The black one is different. It's still quite hard, but the outside material is like a rubbery texture. A bit like you get in some cars on the dash board. I doubt it'll be much better for absorbing impact, but I believe it will reduce the likelihood of bits of dust scratching the back and outer edges of your phone.
A few observations of my own:
- I personally am not all that impressed by the 'protective' level of this case. Large parts of the edge of the phone are completely exposed, so anything in your pocket could . I've done a few little (completely unscientific) tests using a table and the phone and I reckon if the phone hits the ground face down, you've got maybe 2-3mm of flex from the corners of the device, which is pretty much nothing. If it hits on the top you've got a reasonable 3-4mm and the bottom I'd say you're safe as it's protected by the thickest part of the case. If it hits the floor on an edge however, the amount of space between the phone and the floor becomes precariously low in my opinion. If you're lucky, it'll hit the phone on the back, bottom, or corners. Anything else could be curtains for this beautiful device.
- Not a negative, but it does add a fair bit of weight onto your phone (which tied into the point above...). It takes your phone from being a lightweight comfortable device to being, hmmmm, nearly the weight of a tablet I'd say. The case on its own weighs more than the entire phone. Fine in your pocket, but it does get a bit tedious holding it.
- No Micro-USB Cable was included. I know this sounds picky, but even the cheapest of cheap Chinese batteries i've bought in the past have come with a 5cm cheap cable to charge with. Come on?
Not had chance to actually try the case. It came charged up to the 4th light, so I will probably charge it up full and see if I can try it for a day. Don't really know how to test a 5200mAh battery, but my thinking is that it should be able to charge a S7 Edge from 0-100% then run it for a while too? Is that a terribly unscientific experiment? You betya.....
Tried it yesterday. Charged the phone from 27% up to 100% (while the phone was running too). It then charged it for about another 10-15% after (while running).
I call that a win.

So, I've used it a lot since then. I've been able to experiment with it a lot.
I think it's fair to say that it's better used keeping a fully charged phone, fully charged. Now, that might sound daft, but what I mean is, if you have your phone, run it down to 60%, then put it in the battery case, this seems to use more energy than simply leaving the phone in the battery case all day. I don't have any scientific explanation for this, rather I have empirical evidence.
The first few times I took it out, I did just as I describe above, allowing the phone to discharge to a moderate level, then re-charging it up. Suffice to say, in this scenario, the battery case will quickly run down to the 50% marker or even down to the 25% marker. This was fine, but obviously once the case is dead.... well, it's dead. Now you're onto your phone battery.
Instead, I tried it one day from 100%, so simply using the phone in a constant state of charge. Now, the case itself does occasionally switch off (perhaps it's wired to detect when the phone gets to 100%). I simply flick it back on. In this scenario, I was able to keep the phone at 100% all day (despite using it A LOT), and only use about 25% - 50% of the charge case. By 8pm, there was still plenty of charge left in the case and my phone was still at 100%.
As I said, I don't know the science behind this. I know that energy is often lost as heat, and it gets much warmer when charging from 50% than maintaining the phone at 100%. I know that charging via Micro-USB is also not 100% efficient. In fact, studies show that Micro USB is often inefficient.
With that in mind, I think I've given a pretty good example of how I use it. I think these are excellent cheapo battery cases, but don't use them to re-charge your phone to get maximum performance. Rather keep your phone in them all day, right from the minute you leave the house.
I am strictly against cheap battery cases. Heard a thousand stories about poor quality, no money back guarantee etc. I am a strict opponent of the "official" power cases also. The brand manufacturers spend zero time and effort on something worthy and innovative.
I would like to be proven wrong on my first opinion. Maybe I will buy some cheapo just to test it. I need more reviews and opinions on the SAVFY.
Meanwhile, the case market is hungry for innovations.
I admire brands like Nexpaq, I-blades and the uniVERSE Otterbox. If some of the brand manufacturers get the idea to make something similar there will be no time until cheap knock-offs appear on the market. I would definitely like to try some product of that kind

Thanks for replying. So my problem with the branded ones is they tend to be expensive..... and I mean really expensive!! Look at the Zero Lemon one. In the UK, that is currently £59 on Amazon. £59!!!??!!?! It's also $59 which in dollars, that might not sound too bad, but in UK money, that's seriously expensive for what is essentially nothing more than a big battery. I mean hell, you can buy a decent branded Universal battery pack with similar amounts of juice (or more), with several ports and some extra features for about £20. They're cashing in on the fact it's an S7 Edge specific accessory and the fact the people who own these phones either have big expensive contracts or earn decent money and therefore can afford to buy such a luxury product. Alternatively, you buy an original battery case from Samsung.... £54.99 and only 3100Mah. That's a joke. That's enough to recharge it once.....
I tried to look at the Otterbox but there was no price for the S7 Edge. I also looked at the nexpaq but there doesn't seem to be any details regarding the S7 Edge. While I think you're right to admire those two brands, and what they're doing is clearly innovative, something theoretical is useless to me. I came from an S4. I had two spares batteries in my wallet, which was ideal really because it meant I could switch any time I like and pretty much guarantee a whole weekend without my phone charger. You'd be surprised how often I used those spares. I reckon at least once or twice a week. I cannot do this with the S7 Edge. The Edge battery is good without a spare battery. Much better than the S4..... but like all phones, throw a few apps on, get some data connections running and boom, that battery soon disappears. I am a proper power user.
So, we look for answers and solutions that can give us something now. You can pay Zero Lemon £60 to sell you a posh, branded, ugly, massive case, which makes your phone into a brick.... or you look at the alternatives and you usually end up looking through eBay.
SAVFY are nothing special as far as I'm concerned. From what I gather they seem to be a company which buys cheap products and sticks their logo on. Many companies do that. In fact, some of the bigger brands do that as well. As with all labelled products, it's a gamble, you might get a good one, you might get a bad one. SAVFY were surprisingly good to me I found. So, I haven't mentioned that I decided to call them up over the fact my case appeared to discharge excessively if the phone was down to 50%, and they sent me another as a goodwill gesture for free. In fairness to them, they really didn't have to do that..... especially considering I've since found ways of making my original case last all day. It's quite possible this case is a 4000Mah battery or something similar, it's just losing charge through an inefficient charging procedure (micro-usb).
As for a guarantee, well, the thing was like £11. What kind of guarantee do you get for £11 man? You can't even buy a decent pair of shoes for £11 in England. Guarantees are something you get with £700 phones, or a £100 car stereo. To get a guarantee/warranty with something as cheap as that, very few places in England will give you one.... maybe ALDI but don't expect them to have a S7 Edge specific one, they only really deal with universal electronics.
To sum up, I made no really attempts to find a branded battery case. I looked through eBay, spotted SAVFY (a brand I confess to buying before) and decided that for £11 it was worth the gamble.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_o...+case.TRS0&_nkw=s7+edge+battery+case&_sacat=0
As you can see, eBay is awash with unbranded/generic branded battery cases. Some are labelled (wrongly) as 8000Mah... I would keep well away from those. Some are labelled 5200Mah. I believe they're the ones where the seller has been as honest as possible. It's completely impossible for any of these cases to be an 8000Mah, otherwise they'd be huge like the Zero Lemon. Science y'all.
Finally, I decided to have one crack at finding a branded case on eBay that wasn't a generic one, and wasn't super expensive. Nope. Literally not possible. The closest I found was this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Roger-for...213594?hash=item3f73a63b1a:g:mFcAAOSwjDZYe-lS
An AUNSY (never heard of them) 5200Mah battery case for £36 delivered.
Hmm, where have I seen that case before
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Galaxy-Edg...&qid=1485533629&sr=8-1&keywords=SAVFY+s7+edge
Nah..... When someone gets their act together, they'll create a solid 5200Mah with a genuine dependable battery at an affordable cost with a small warranty and we'll all be very very happy

Decent unboxing here, although he's gone for a shiny Gold one which I wouldn't recommended as it'll scratch your phone imo.
I just saw the misplaced link for I-blades. They are my most Samsung-friendly favorite brand. They have products for more and more Samsung models. Nexpaq and Otterbox stayed behind.
Previously I was referring to the innovations, not the price, though it is not so bad after all. I wish someday official Samsung product with the ideas from I-blades.

I'm actually pretty tempted to buy it. I've looked through many options for battery cases but I always see there's some kind of faults with them. Either they're not protective enough or just doesn't hold its charge.
This case on the other hand, has a benefit of analyzing the air around me. I'd like to know how is the air in my work environment working in a warehouse so I may know that I should wear some extra protective stuff. Despite the Smartblade adding an ugly bump, I hope the magnet attachment is actually strong enough to just slide off if I put it into some pants I have with slim pockets. And the other thing I hope is the battery being pretty large enough to actually extend battery life better than what I have now.

With the rapid advancement of electronics the days, this fits with the timing. I already preordered it and hopefully it comes fast enough for me to try and give a first depth review here.

Cool, by all means do.
Just an update. Charged from 0% to 100% with the SAVFY case yesterday, and run at the same time.
Not bad.

What makes you so much of a skeptic with attitude? If the case doesn't work as intended, I can always return it for a refund.

It's a 100 dollar case.... In England, with tax, it'll probably be the same. £100 for a fancy phone case?
It sounds like snake oil to me
I would happily spend midrange money but £100?
No thanks.... And I have a feeling people will be more keen to take a gamble on a cheap Chinese case than one which costs a days pay for most.
This video is the newest and the closest thing to review I've come across so far. They do go slow but it promises a quality product. I changed my Galaxy with a Note 5 but still I am looking forward the product. I am waiting for the Enviro Sensor Pack and then if I am satisfied will order the Battery/Memory Blade

I've been meaning to call the company to see when they're shipping the case for my Galaxy S7 Edge since it's already March. I already ordered the whole thing since it's a cheaper option to go with instead of spending an extra $50 on the memory blade separately.
So I tried to disassemble my SAVFY battery case today. Didn't really want to come apart. There's a hefty lithium ion battery in there. Whether it's the described 5200Mah, who knows?
I've given mine an absolute battering this week. Using it every day without fail including in seriously hot temperatures and had no issues, so I think these SAVFY ones are pretty solid for the most part. Cheap energy when you need them. Mine is starting to show signs of wear and tear now, as I'm using it so much (the rubberized finish is coming off) but yeah, it's a fairly solid piece of kit i'd say.
any update on this, which one will you recommend? cause there are numerous battery covers, which one is fake, which one is good?
