Can anyone from developers give me a working kernel or stock rom with full NTFS read/write support?

Is enomther really the only dev that bakes CIFS support into his rom?
Help me out here... I really really want/need a cm6 compatible kernel with CIFS support!
This topic is for my MoDaCo Custom Kernel for the LG Optimus 2x - Enhanced Edition
Features include...
Based on the LG source
[*]Patched to 2.6.32.36
Includes ck2 patchset
Includes optional BFQ scheduler
Includes EXT4 support (with optional EXT4 conversion on install)
Includes CIFS and TUN modules
Two downloads area available, one for users who wish to stay on EXT3 and one for users who would like their device converted to EXT4 on install (without data loss).
r5 DOWNLOAD - EXT4 version (ROMraid Load Balancing) - MD5: 8da29803f1da756706595cfb34d2fbeb
r5 DOWNLOAD - EXT3 version (ROMraid Load Balancing) - MD5: 6f6f78f3f4d2380e5ba85ce6acefe272
Installation should be carried out via ClockworkMod, please do a backup first! This kernel should be compatible with all stock and custom ROMs.
Note: This kernel is already included with MoDaCo Custom ROM Fr5.
Enjoy!

PS I will be posting the full sources on my GitHub in due course.
It's what your "ck2 patchset" and "CIFS and TUN modules"? Can you explain that !?
Thanks.
I will give it a try.
@Paul,
Can you please add overclock option to this kernel?
Paul, could you take the time to add an "init.d" system to the initramfs, this would allow saving min/max cpu frequency (and maybe uv if i get it to work) at boot.
Thanks, and upload the sources one more time
Yup, and yup.

Hello guys!
I am using V10A stock ROM. Could somebody tell me advantages of this kernel compared to stock kernel 2.6.32.9?

+1. Yeah are there any benchmark changes and so on in this new kernel? Also are there any bugs in this kernel like browser lags or something?
Hi,
Thanks for this Kernel, Cifs support changed my life
However I sometimes have some big lags. Phone doesn't response for 30 secondes or more. Even sometimes i have to remove the battery to reboot.
I had not noticed this pb with original Kernel.
Am I the only one having this issue?
Is there a new version of this kernel available?
Thank you
When I use firmware 2.3.6 +Kernel Abysus (I can use my sdcard in NTFS format)

Because Abysus kernel enables it..
Wait for a custom ICS kernel to support NTFS
And finally.. WRONG SECTION!!

Questions DO NOT belong in Development.
can someone explain to me what is "BigMEM-Libs for Sema-Kernel 3.2.0s" . I saw it on another post .
when should I flash the BigMEM? after I flashed the rom and the kernel ?
1 more thing, can i flash cm 10.2 on stock 2.3.3 ?
ty .
Upgrade to 2.3.6 (it is a better base for the next steps) then flash CM 10.2

So to your other question:
Semaphore is an other Kernel for different ROM like CM 10.2 and so on...you can flash it via Odin...
The Kernel reserves RAM when starting so you don`t have 512 MB RAM on your Android for apps and so on, instead only 360MB, for explample...
Semaphore-Kernel gives tou the ability to enable the Function "BigMEM" so you have more RAM becuase some drivers are not loaded at the beginning for example 720p video recording...
So when you enable BigMEM you`re camera will get FS (ForceClosings) then you need the BigMEMLibs (Libs like libOMX.so and so on) and for all that you have to use not the "normal" Semaphore-Kernel, but the Sema-Kernel "s"
Bigmem
When the kernel boots, it reserves some RAM to be used by some drivers (video, capture, JPG) for DMA (Direct Memory Access). In Linux kernel this reservation have to be done only during boot. It was found that using less reserved memory for video capture, the kernel can operate normally without issue with the only regretion that 720p video recording is not possible. Enabling this option will leave ~13MB more available RAM.

Hope i can help you a little ...

Is there any way to know what file-systems are supported in the stock kernel? Is there any tool to check for the kernel capabilities? I am in Stock 5.1.1 (.222) kernel. I would like to shift to F2FS if it is supported by the Stock Kernel. Or maybe a loadable module can be developed.
I would love to have an app to list all the things supported in the kernel.
Edit: Sorry, I posted in the wrong thread. Dear Mod, Please Remove the post.
