I'm wondering if anybody knows how to modify to vibration intensity on the phone. I currently go to school and I usually keep my phone on my desk and the vibration is pretty loud and annoying. I want it to be one short pulse; much like the iPhone vibration.

If you're rooted, Light Flow will let you change the vibrations, and enable the LED notification light too.

Drives me nuts as well. I found turning the default breathing light color to red helps a bit with ignoring its on.

Place it face down.

Kind of hard to talk on the phone with the phone face down on the table.
My breathing light activates and remains on while talking. Even with no notifications present.

Hey,
just wanted to ask a question concerning a slight issue I'm having with my HTC One.
With my SGS3 I was used to simply shut of all sounds and vibration during work/school, so that there are no vibration sounds while lying on my desk. Then, I would want to put it back into "only sound mode", so to have no annoying vibration sounds while lying on my desk, but just sound.
In order to do this, I have to check all apps and disable vibration in those apps, am I right? Like disabling vibration in whatsapp, facebook messenger etc.
But then my problem is, that when I want to add vibration when carrying it around in my pocket, I would need to add again vibration in every single app?
In fact, I would like to have a completely silent profile (no vibration, no sounds), a vibration only profile, and a sound only profile. Is this in any way possible to achieve?
Thanks in advance,
Ben
bump
I'll bump this as well. Has anyone found any nonrooted solution to this yet? I DLed Sound Profiles from Play, but that didn't seem to do what I wanted.
Thanks
Open options, click Sound, Profiles are right there (Normal,Vibration and Silent).

Normal includes vibration. There is no option for Sound but No Vibration. Driving me crazy!

Well, you can go to Settings / Sounds and turn off vibration during calls. I think that would shut it off.
Also, you can disable vibration in the power saver menu, even if that is all you shut off.

Turning off in calls doesn't turn it off in Notifications.
The downside to the power saver option is then I can't have haptic feedback on capacitive buttons.

The power save option to turn off vibration feedback doesn't affect the buttons?
EDIT: I'm not sure I entirely understand. But I'm using the Business calendar application for the reminders, and it has full control of vibration.
Hi!
Does anybody know about an app to disable vibration when the phone is placed on a flat surface?
I hate it when my phone is on the table and it vibrates because of an incoming call or a notification - it gives me almost am heart attack!
Greetings

I found a few apps in the play store but none of them worked.
Hopefully someone can help with this.
Turn off vibrate in settings.. Much easier.. The boomsound speakers do the rest if it be into your pocket.

You can do this with Tasker, set a sensor poll for the accelerometer and if it's face up, or face down, you can disable the vibrate motor.
It lowers it everywhere but faux has an app that you can adjust the vibrations system wide.

Just got this yesterday and notice the vibration is very weak, hardly feel it.
Is there any settings on the watch or is it from the Galaxy S5? I have the S5 at full strength vibration.
I got this watch primarily for vibration notification.
Nope. Vibration is annoying. Super weak. And won't work if phone is on silent/vibrate

Your wrong... My phone is on silent/vibrate and vibrate works on the watch just weak.
The main purpose of these smartphones is the notifications.... and so far this Gear Live sucks!
The vibration is very weak... most of the time don't feel it, however when I swipe down on the clock face, it goes to "mute:, a short, weak vibration happens. Then when I swipe down again to get "unmute" there is a longer, harder vibration. That is what I want!
Try it!
So it can vibrate harder... how can I get it to do that in vibration mode?
Maybe an aftermarket app for Android Wear will work?

Hello.... ??? Anyone... ???
Possible Solution
I have written a guide on the general forum that shows how to create custom vibrate patterns using tasker and autonotification.

Hi,
I have just added a "make notifications vibration stronger" in last SWApp Launcher Wear version:

I've been looking all over to see if there is a way if the phone can at least vibrate or have the led light turn on when a notification comes in while on a phone call. Maybe a certain rom has this feature or through xposed?

Phone can vibrate if you get notification without applying any advance stuff but for enabling notification LED you'll have to root and then will have to use Light Flow to enable it
