Kind of hard to talk on the phone with the phone face down on the table.
My breathing light activates and remains on while talking. Even with no notifications present.

How to Disable the "reply with message" at incoming call screen

hi, just as the title shown, can anyone help me to disable it on my Xperia Z, thanks in advance.
Why would you do that anyway?

Yea why..it's not in the way or anything..

Just guessing: did you try to delete all message texts in the settings? Maybe the button won't appear if there are no texts.
..... Such a useful feature. And it's not in the way.
Two ways of using it:
Reply with a quick msg.
Or
When you just want to make the call stop ringing the ring tone. Just simply swipe up and the it stops ringing, but the call is technically still going.

I hate that it will stop ringing the ring tone.
It happens to me many times that when I'm running or shaking or something, a call comes...
Then the phone's screen is on, and my pants accidentally open the "reply with msg." and it stops ringing...
So I miss lots of calls due to that ******* function.
Why won't I just mute the call volume when I don't want it to ring?

Maybe it's because I'm quite hot (physically, no other meaning...), so the phone thinks that it's me who is touching the screen...

Perhaps, if you sweat through your pockets the water(sweat) would press lol. But you had some suggestions up there, if none of them worked. I'd just make it an habit to have the screen facing outwards. Or switch to AOSP Dialer.

I found a few apps in the play store but none of them worked.
Hopefully someone can help with this.
Turn off vibrate in settings.. Much easier.. The boomsound speakers do the rest if it be into your pocket.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
You can do this with Tasker, set a sensor poll for the accelerometer and if it's face up, or face down, you can disable the vibrate motor.
It lowers it everywhere but faux has an app that you can adjust the vibrations system wide.

Notification LED still not working in 4.4.1

Hi, i have noticed 4.4.1 fix a lot of bugs, except the led notification that doesn´t blink during incoming calls. It´s so difficult to fix it google?
Why has it to be fixed?. Notification led blinks when you miss a call, not when receiving one.

Sounds like you want to customize your notification LED. Try Light Flow.
Your screen turns on on an incoming call like it should. Having the LED come on also makes no sense.

Yes but no blinking led when you have a miss call
It bothered me on 4.3, I use Lux since, I hope it works on 4.1.1

Mine blinks when I miss a call. I thought you meant only during an incoming call my bad

When i first got my N5 i had problems with the LED not blinking from a missed call & new text messages.
Even with LightFlow it didn't always work, after playing about for a bit something would kick it back into life, but it was still hit & miss.
I'm now using Purity Rom it has some basic LED settings, the LED blink has been fine since.
By default the LED just blinks white for any notifications such as text, missed call, email, even update notifications.
3rd party apps can set their own color if used, such as red for BBM green for Facebook. This should work in 4.4 before you even update.
Try light flow

He's not been clear what he actually means. In obe post he says that there's no light while the call is ringing (which seems pointless to me, why have a small LED in addition to the five inch screen tell g you there's a call), but another post talks about missed calls. Maybe he just doesn't get the light for calls at all?
Has anyone else got the same issue, no light for missed calls?

Yes. I do. No led notification for missed calls or for voice mail. I'm using Light Manager to notify me, but for missed calls, it was an issue in 4.4.0 and is still and issue in 4.4.1. No led notification at all.
Plus the led is hit or miss. Sometimes it appears., other times not for other notifications. It seems to be buggy to me.

My led notification works very well for all expect for missed calls, also with 4.1.1 . All stock without any additional app as light flow... It's strange that it's working for someone.

Sorry i read bad:silly:
Light Manager works really well and you get to use nice shiny colours of your choice too.
The stock white light is boring and buggy.

[Q] notifications while on phone call

I've been looking all over to see if there is a way if the phone can at least vibrate or have the led light turn on when a notification comes in while on a phone call. Maybe a certain rom has this feature or through xposed?

Phone can vibrate if you get notification without applying any advance stuff but for enabling notification LED you'll have to root and then will have to use Light Flow to enable it

Vibration control?

I'm wondering if anybody knows how to modify to vibration intensity on the phone. I currently go to school and I usually keep my phone on my desk and the vibration is pretty loud and annoying. I want it to be one short pulse; much like the iPhone vibration.

If you're rooted, Light Flow will let you change the vibrations, and enable the LED notification light too.
