[Q] My first day in xda, I need help. - LG G Watch R

Hi all,
I need help.
My watch LG G Watch R, which has been installed a wrong rom--LG G Watch's 5.1.1, now can't work again. I can only see the logo of LG, then crash.
I have tried to swipe from 11 o'clock to 5 o'clock, but it didn't work, nothing happened.
so, the problem is I can't get in the bootloader model, there's no way for me to go back to a right rom of G Watch R.
please help me.
thanks very much.

there isn't anything you can do if you can't even get into the bootloader cause without being able to get into the boot loader, you won't be able to communicate to it at all with your computer. sorry but i think you have an expensive paper weight

Super Hard Brick Stock Moto X 1st Gen

My brother just bought a new in box Moto X off eBay (ruling out any warranty) about a week ago. Today it asked to update the OS, which he accepted. During the update (green android robot with blue swirly thing inside) the phone simply blinked off and ceased to respond. And I mean NO response. I don't get LED's, boot, fast boot, recovery, charge, ANYTHING. Plugging it into a computer also gives no response.
My bro didn't take note of the OS that it was updating to, but it was just an OTA. He had no suspicious apps, hadn't played with ROM's, just barely had his phone working before this happened.
I spent a long time googling for this same problem, but no results. Everyone at least gets SOME response out of their phone. I can't imagine this is a hardware problem, and I'm certain he had plenty of charge when he initiated the update (only half a day of use on the charge, should have been at %50-60 on the low side).
Anybody have an idea on how to proceed? Any info would be greatly appreciated, even a link to a helpful thread that I missed.
Phone is a 1st gen (2013) Moto X on AT&T.

I'm in the same boat... I recently bought a Moto X (2013) on eBay and having had the Atrix HD previously, I thought rooting should be simple.. yeah, no, it wasn't... i'm now hard bricked. I followed a guide about updating the driver and using the program that tricks the driver signing, and it all went as stated, except the phone still won't turn on. Adb can't see it, neither can mfastboot.. RSD Lite does see it tho it fails flashing.. I don't know what to do.. I don't have much $ and I had just saved up for awhile so any help would be appreciated
Brett and Elisha, are you running Windows? If so, when you connect your phone, does Windows chime as if it recognizes something is connected via USB?

I started here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/general/moto-x-root-pogress-60-t3071602
After step 3, manually installing the unsigned drivers, I had to follow this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/general/how-to-unbricked-hard-bricked-phone-t3146036
I skipped to "Now software part. Go to unzipped C:\Python27 folder, launch bat-file, and wait until finish:
RUN_blank_bootloader_flash.bat"
It took a bit of time, but the phone rebooted and I am rooted.

There's a thread on this forum titled 'Resurrecting a dead Moto X'. It describes your scenario in detail and explains a way to fix it.

LG G Watch R Stuck on 5.0.1....need help getting it up to date

Hello,
I've asked this before but keep giving up in frustration.
Over a year ago I bought a used LG G Watch R...it came with 5.0.1 installed and runs great.
It always comes up as an update is ready to install, but when I choose to install it, it restarts, goes to a boot loader screen...and then nothing. Always stays on 5.0.1.
I am pretty sure the last user rooted the watch to get 5.0.1 on it early, but now I'm stuck as watch will never update. It is Build LWX48P
Any thoughts? Need a good walkthrough...novice here...not even sure how you connect the watch to a computer if needed to.
Thanks for any help...

Razr i xt890 - need HELP completely reinstalling firmware !

Hello guys,
I've been messing around with my Motorola Razr i XT890 the last couple of days, trying to get it "back to life".
It suddenly shut down and would get stuck on the red "M" logo, right when the animation would start (the white wavey-type of lines freeze and that is all it would do. I, myself, am not really much up to date on rooting, installing custom roms, you know; the whole developing thing (I find it interesting, it is just that I lack time to be able to learn more). Anyway, the phone got stuck and I've managed to factory reset it, after a while the phone would freeze and again get stuck on the red logo, this went on until it would not boot at all. All I got was a short vibration and the green led would light up for like one second. Using this forum I've found a solution to bring it back to the point it would get back into fastboot (Actually holding the camera button down with usb attached, install some specific drivers and then run a batch file).
At this point this is my situation:
I'm stuck on fastboot, however I turn on the phone it will get into fastboot (see attached image to see what it says)

I, for some reason, have Philz Recovery installed and tried to use adb sideload to install a few files but my biggest problem is that I'm not sure which firmware I need, I'm really confused about all the terms and what not. I'm not the type of person that pays much attention and like knows the difference between JB or KitKat or whatever. All I know is that the phone was purchased in Germany along with a contract with either Vodafone or O2 (really not sure). I have so many files and tools installed on my PC and I would like to delete everything and start from scratch. I have fastboot and adb working (except for RSDLite, for some reason it just won't recognize the device, while adb sideload did work....haven't figured that one out yet.
If any one happens to know. or can post a link for 1 or 2 versions of the firmware and help me out. Just point me in the right direction, I know my way around a computer but like I said, I've never really done much in this area
I bought a new model Motorola soon after this one crashed the second time, so it's not even about the phone itself. I kind of challenged myself to get it working again, on top of that, it was a very good phone and I got really used to it. These new big screens are too much for me so if I get it working I might actually start using it again lol.
Also thanks to all of you who put time and effort in helping people who have these kind of problems, it's a really nice community overall and I've gotten to like it and will try to spend more time learning about this. I might just help out some lost soul myself some day
PS; sry about the green lol, I actually just realized it...I just can't be bothered cropping it out

Today I found my watch again after many years.
After charging it I saw it was stille connected to my old phone.
I gave it a reset And got the same problem.
I held the side button for 20-30 seconds until the watch vibrated and rebooted.
After that it booted fine with a complete clean watch.
I hope this will work for you too.
I have tried many times

LG R watch just hangs on Logo

Does anyone watch this thread anymore? I have a question: I replaced the battery in my LG R watch (which I have not used in several years), and charged it up. It boosts to the LG logo screen and hangs there forever. I restarted it and did the 11 to 5 swipe to see the fast boot screen, and select Recover Mode. Same results, it just shows the LG Logo and never gets any further along. Seems, perhaps, that the boot code is bad? If I cannot get into the Android screen, is there a way I can refresh the basic software on this device? Or is this thing dead? FYI: I have not done any hacking on this, it is just stock. But it seems I might have to to get this running again. Suggestions and pointers would be welcomed. Thanks.
Hi watchers. I see no replies, but maybe someone here ha a USB driver that will work on Windows 11?
Ok, I got this to work but had to go back to a Windows 7 machine. Sad that these threads are dead now.
Hello, I have exactly the same problem !
Could you tell me how you did it?
I think I have to flash the firmware, but I have no clue.

I didnt had this issue so i am sorry that i cant help you there.

Thanks
