Hi, I am trying to develop lollipop for our device, but i have such a bad problem. I connect telephone to my general PC, Cable is OK, tried to connect to another PC OK too, but i can't connect only to this PC, any ideas? I know, that it isn't from the hardware or OS, because other android phones can connect normally.

Hi!
I had problems with usb 3.0 ports.
I read somewhere here about a solution to replace the microsoft usb drivers with intel's, but instead I just use another computer with usb 2.0 and it works fine.

Besides have ADB Debugging enabled, he should also have the USB connection set to Charge Only, not HTC Sync or Disk Drive. This is not a ROM issue that, it is simply a setting and driver issue.

yes my friend it is.
are you rooted? if yes then you could try installing the rom again using mobile odin.. and see if that helps
Try this,
Boot into recovery, connect the phone & let it install the required drivers.
Boot into Download mode & again let windows install required drivers.
Boot normally & again let it install whatever things that are required to run things
& you are thru. Hope this helps.

Hello, bit of a newbie myself but I may be of help. A couple of questions- has it worked before, and if so, when? Secondly, prior to it stopping working (that is, if it did), did you install any new software on your phone or computer that may have affected the setup?
its not rooted.nd still m nt able to connect to any pc.

Sounds like a USB driver issue. Do you have kies installed, or the stock usb drivers installed? Mine can be a bit flakey when connecting with USB though.
Actually sounds like something that happened to me. After upgrading kies my usb drivers got updated to but my pc showed missing id whenever my note got connected. Only solution i found is to reinstall the usb drivers, disconect the pc from internet and then connect the note. After drivers are installed i can connect to the internet again. Shoud i connect the note while connected to internet gives me the missing hardware id again and makes me install drivers again. Hope this helps you.
Guyz thank you Very Much ... But A Small dust Particle Over The USB Wire Was creating the Problem. M Sorry and Thank You Guyz <3

When I try to flash the boot.img by running the phone in Fastboot USB it does not connect with my PC. I have installed the latest version of SDK and the necessary files that need to be installed such as fasboot.exe, etc.
I had successfully flashed a boot.img before reformatting my PC but now the phone disconnects when in Fastboot USB mode although it can connect and is shown in Device Manager when inside the phone OS.

Well anyways it could be multiple things. It could be
1. You dont have proper drivers (but u said above you do with latest SDK and HTC Sync installed)
2. Broken USB port on computer
3. Broken mini HDMI port on your phone
4. Broken Cable.
You wouldnt by any chance be using PACman are you? I actually had some problems where my computer would not detect PACman in fastboot. If thats the case reflash PACman and try again. If that still doesnt work, then flash another ROM with full wipe, then see if it connects.

I was running PACman but after I installed the latest update for it my phone kept bootlooping so I am currently running CyanVivo X. It connects fine using the USB cable but it just doesn't connect when going into Fastboot USB.
I can also connect through the recovery menu with Clockwork Recovery.
You have to make sure whether your USB port is broken or the cable itself.

It is not the USB port or the cable because it works 100% fine when not in Fastboot USB. The phone connects perfectly fine within the ROM and in Clockwork Recovery but not in Fastboot USB. I am thinking that re-unlocking the phone may help.
EDIT: I was using a USB 3.0 port and that was the issue... For some reason it didn't like the USB 3.0 in Fastboot USB << Heads up for anyone else having this issue.

No fix unless you want to replace your USB 3 ports with USB 2 ports.
Hi, I've a Honor 5C NEM-L51. It's not rooted and TWRP is not installed, but bootloader has been unlocked.
The main problem is that I cannot install TWRP via USB because phone USB is broken (device cannot be recognized by PC). Charging battery still works
I'm looking for a way to root (or installing TWRP on) my NEM-L51 without using USB. I can transfer files via local network thanks to a good files explorer APP installed on my phone, so I can transfer files between PC <-> NEM-L51 without USB, via my home network.
My phone is on Android 7, but maybe I could use integrated Recovery mode to downgrade, if needed.
What do you suggest for rooting my NEM-L51 or installing TWRP on it, without using USB?
Thank you!
install drivers to pc and it will work.

Drivers are already installed. Windows (8.1 or 10) "fails on getting device descriptor". Only charging works now
Hi,
Just a suggestion, try with another usb cable.
Yesterday I was going to flash twrp recovery with a borrowed cable and I was unable to get it working not recognized by windows 10 and the adb_1.4.3 package previously installed.
I decided to try with another cable and it worked !
So this is my advice.
Well in most of the cases usb cables are incompatible for different models

check once whether device drivers are present in PC device manger
Sorry bro , that was an issue with the cable.
Use other USB cables: check (but doesn't work)
Drivers and ADB (softwares stuff): check (trying another Android device on my PC and even my NEM on others PCs)
I'm pretty sure that file transfering (and USB debugging) cannot work anymore on my phone. Still charge the phone ATM.
But... well... Non-rooted Android 7 is good, in fact

Sorry I'm not clear enough: I've tested other Android devices on my main computer and they worked. I've also connected my NEM smartphone (broken one) on other computers where other Android devices work, still no luck. So this NEM cannot be recognized on any computer, with or without Android drivers. Plus, on my main PC, the NEM smartphone was recognized but since a bad day, it didn't worked anymore.

Have to tried to change the data cable ?
Lovely community,
I'm trying to instal a custom recovery (TWRP) for my mi 9t pro.
However, although it does charge and fastcharge, it doesn't get recognized by my computer (or any other computer I've tried).
It only shows "unrecognized usb device".
I figured this would be a driver problem, so I reinstalled drivers, even forced a driver instal through device manager for this device but somehow it still doesn't show. Unfortunately, without a pc connection, rooting my phone gets really hard.
Ofcourse USB debugging, etc. are enabled.
I'm out of hope or ideas, maybe you guys could help me out here? I've been struggling for over 7 hours so far ahha so I figured I should ask for help.
Thanks in advance!!

Obvious things to try at first are changing the USB cable, trying different USB ports on the computer and, if possible, trying a different computer.
A poor quality or damaged USB cable is often the problem with these types of issues. Followed by a dodgy USB port, that's had a lot of use, on an older computer.

Thank you for the reply! I've tried multiple computers, ports, cables and the usb port has been replaced so that shouldn't be the problem either... any other clues?

I assume you are using Windows 10?
Normally, connecting the phone to the PC, with the standard USB cable, Windows will automatically recognise the phone and install the required drivers without you needing to do anything? After this adb and fastboot should recognise the device without any further input.
Try removing the phone from Windows device manager and then plugging it in to the PC and see if it can automaticallyinstall it's drivers successfully.
