Very nice videos, just a quick question, what kernel are you using whilst installing CM10? Stock or what are you using?

Thanks for compiling these videos. I get my Nexus 7 on Friday and I'll check these out before doing anything....though it looks like Rooting/Flashing is easier on this device than any other device I've been on.

Has anybody not got the 4.4.2 update on rogers...

Wondering if I'm the only one:\

Since you're on MJ5, your bootloader is locked. The ONLY way to install a custom rom is to use safestrap. You'll need Safestrap-HLTEATT-3.71.apk.

There are several good 4.3 roms available, and safestrap is a very, well.., safe way to flash roms. No custom kernels or CyanogenMod though.

Thank you guys but I am used to more freedom aka Unlocked bootloader ,that's crazy though that the ATT version is as strict as big red

The beta has ended.
Therfore, the only way to get it working again is manually set the date on your device back to August.
After you have changed the date there should be no issues with Flashfire
Thanks

I currently have devices on both and for the Note 4, I would disagree. From a heat management, lagging, battery life, and overall customisability standpoint I prefer KitKat.

Today is my first day with MM. Was on the 5.1.1. For last couple months and before that KK. IMO 5.1.1 > 4.4.4 > 5.0.1. So far, MM is on par with last LP with maybe a little more polish - no lag, aesthetic supervisor, screen off note, and improved app management.
For those having issues with latest update, I'd highly recommend formatting both internal and external storage and factory reset before and after update. Also, hold off on using xposed, debloating, tb and data restore for a while to gauge the full potential of OS as intended before messing around with things.
What is the ROM file for this phone, please
Any help please
