I'm trying to use the Android Studio and every time that I drag a button or any widget direct to the simulator the Android Studio just stop.
And them the only thing I can do is kill the process and start it again.
I'll be happy if anyone can help me.

I'm following a course from StackSkills to learn how to develop applications. I'm using Andriod Studio SDK. I am still in the absolute beginning and in the video it showed to drag a widget to the "phone?" and when I tried doing that it didn't allow me to. When I try to drag onto the phone it displays a "cancel" symbol where the pointer would be. I apologize beforehand if this is not the proper location for the thread. I'm new here as well. I am looking for a Developer who can create an Android App/Service/Whatever for me to do the following task.
Since I have no expertise in Android Development I am very thankful for any help an will surely send some $ as compensation for the result.
TASK:
The App/Service/Whatever should be able to open up a webpage, perform a click on that page on a button (follow all redirections, parse and use javascript, use cookies) just act like a normal Browser, but completely invisible.
I dont want to see any Icon or UI Interaction. Maybe its possible to realize that only on Shell (Terminal) Level.
The Final Webpage's HTML-Code should be saved in a file on the FileSystem (/data/Whatever/page.html).
The App is only for me, my device is rooted and Running Android 4.4.1 .

Hi. I've been playing around with android studio for a little while now but I just can't seem to get buttons working, I'm almost pulling my hair out at this stage.
Would anybody make me a small simple app with working buttons so I could download it and open in android studio and play around with it and try figure out where I'm going wrong. I've made the just java app from udacity but I changed something and now thats stopped working
So any help would be great

Hi, I have searched the forum to find an answer to this question, and I understand it is probably a basic question, but I appreciate anyone's ideas.
I am trying to start an activity in my app and view it on the desktop head unit. I can easily use the startActivity() method to see the activity open on my Android tablet. However, I don't know how to start an activity so it appears on the head unit instead. I have tried many approaches, including starting a service, but nothing has worked. Thanks for your suggestions.
Android and Android Auto is a complete different world. You always need SDKs to program for a specific platform. For Android Auto this is not available, so with any basic Android tutorial you cant reach anything. If you have a Head Unit (from China) with basic Android you can for sure program it like any other Android device. But if you want to use the Android Auto environment build in many new cars, I tell you its more than hard for you to get anything running. Only way you can program right now is a Messaging or Music playing app. So the possibilities are quite limited. More information under https://developer.android.com/training/auto/index.html
