Is it possible to replace the BA VGA camera for a 2 or 3Mpixel, and replacing the drivers?
If there's a SDIO 3Mpixel camera ( which i think doesn't exist ) yes, it is possible.
if you mean replacing the fysical cam on the device then yes
if you could
1 solver smd components out without damaging anything
2 locate a 3mpix camera the same size
3 locate a 3mpix camera with the same leg connectors
4 locate a 3mpix camera with the same electrical protocol
5 overwrite the driver with the new one without it trying to init a cam not present at startup and causing your device not to be able to start winCE
So another words No
a camera from the same manufacturer should be fine!

even 2MP or 1.3Mp should be better then the cheesy VGA camera...
One time I saw at eBay someone selling a blueangel with a 1.3mp camera.
If that guy in ebay wasn't fake... it proves that is possible...
The PDA is a smal PC, and Windows Mobile isn,t much diferent then other OS.
If we add or change a piece of hardware, it should only be necessary to update the drivers that control it.
My first doubth is if we need only to change the piece of the camera that connects to the motherboard trought the ribbon cable or if it is necessary to change any controler in the mother board.
Anyone knows this answer?

I realy need to know whether there is any external (detachable) camera that can be used with my motorola milestone which can be used for video calling or video chat.
As far as I'm aware, the answer is "no". You won't find devices that you can plug into the phone's USB port to add functionality, because the device does not support USB Host Mode.

actually it does however there is no real software support so I will agree with post above - I haven't heard about any such accessory
i have bought JVC NSX1 their mirror link for Android Symbian or Iphone working, and i had Samsungs s3 with the app installed DriveLink it working fine and i want to use HTC one with the some app DriveLink i try to install it and it working fine but when i put on my JVC radio ith close by selfh i try start again it wont start any one know how fix it i need to running my HTC one use JVC

I can mirror the display but would like to control my phone from the JVC head unit (kw-nsx600)
I know this post was old but wanted to see if anyone had any info i have searched and searched.

This head unit supports MHL and Mirrorlink. I can get the MHL to work which just mirroring the display. But would like the mirrorlink to work as you can control your apps via the headunit display no need to touch the phone. i seen apps and what not for pioneer units and drivelink apps for the samsung s3. but nuthing for the htc one.
I use car mode but would like full mirroing and control. HTC is on the offical mirrorlink site.

4.4.2 BREAKS Mirrorlink with no fix available!!! Do not upgrade if you can avoid it.

I can't get MHL to work with my Galaxy S4, did you have to have special cable to get your to work? Any clues would be appreciated as I have been able to find out nothing about the MHL functionality.

Pretty sure you need a adapter since samsung moved from a 5 to 11 pin adapter. you can find one for cheap. my radio came with a standard micro usb cable that plugs in the rear of the head unit. once you plug the device in it should reconize the MHL connection. Also can you get the drivelink app to open with out force closing ? not sure if th S4 supports that feature. i have read some where they do have roms that go with either app radio or drive link.

Sense 6 with M9 Sense 7 ported upgrade
Current kernel + personal mod allows xbox / ps controllers
and full NTFS support using USB OTG + Flash drive or Card Reader
Required:
1. OTG to Ether adapter
Lot of cheap Chinese dupes found some of which were detected
But i've not been able to set up the actual Eth01 config.
Fairly confident that it is possible but I don't wanna buy tons of Ether adapter without being sure, and my Linux scripting sh is a bit weak. Hence not risking.
2. OTG to Wimax dongle
Device detects something in host mode but need help setting up drivers and then the login info. The dongle used is by a Bangladesh provider called BanglaLion using Brcm chipset.
I was able to gather drivers for these in Ubuntu as the same chipset
is used by Smith Clear (maybe an American is?)
However because there's no Front end UI to config this, I've not been able to. Correctly verify device, frequency and login info.
Any help from senior mod maniacs?
I got one of those endoscopes from amazon. IT works great on the computer but when i try it on the oneplus 3t, just the LED on the camera comes on and says there is no usb camera attached. I tried it on my wifes LG G6 and it works perfectly.
