hi folks. i have samsung galaxy s II kernel version... i bought this mobile on 25th november. i'm facing the problem of battery life. i charged it completely the whole night and when i started using it at 11 am it dropped to 27percent at 2.30pm. is this a problem with this version only or it is my mobile phone that is creating problem? plus i have another poblem that i cannot lock my phone thru pattern lock. ot doesn't work...means it doesnt lock my screen?pleaseeeeeee helpppppp.....
hi can anyone help me i have galaxy note my samsung keypad consumption of ram reach 52 mb but when restart the device it reduce to about 20 mb why that happens?? any way to reduce that consumption of ram?
and clear ram is it good to use it or not and when i should use it?

Yeah I saw that too. The ram usage in note keyboard is high. It is pretty normal for all the galaxy notes.
And you can clear ram anytime u want, not a big issue.
Samsung Keypad process in note uses MORE RAM

I have noticed that Samsung Keypad process in note is using too much of memory. Its using more than 250 MB. Yes. 250 MB. if i restart then its consuming 20 MB. as time goes on, it keeps increasing. Can anyone say whats going on and why is it like this.. Since i restarted my phone i was not able to take a screenshot of the issue. So once if i use my phone for more than 5 days without restarting, i think the keypad will again cross 200 MB and then i will post the screenshot.
Samsung Keypad RAM Issues
I have been using Samsung Galaxy Note and noticed that it was getting slightly sluggish. I checked the RAM in the task manager and almost 730 MB out of 800 MB with no fore running apps.
Then I checked the Applications and their memory consumption. Surprisingly , the Samsung Keypad was hogging almost 250 MB RAM!
I tried clearing the RAM by press the Clear Memory button but the Android did not gain much RAM from that.
Next , I rebooted the phone and on switching it back on , Samsung keypad was using 20 MB and the phone less than 400 MB.
Few hours on , Samsung Keypad has again gone up to 50 MB and phone just a little less than 600 MB.
Are other SG Note users facing this issue? Possibly , a memory leak on the Samsung Keypad? Any Idea?

I was seeing 20MB for the Samsung Keyboard in official ICS. This is with Voice recognition disabled, and using English and Korean as two input languages.
I just found that using Korean Hangul keyboard (Beta) only uses 9 MB of RAM, and doesn't have any junk that I don't use in it. By junk, I mean pen input / hand writing recognition, and mic input. One thing it lacks is the number keys on the top row. I'm sure there must be a good English keyboard that doesn't hog memory.

When you're changing between internet interfaces , it has to unload one driver and load one driver .
How is that not supposed to lag ? Besides , Androids lag badly when they're under 3G .

Does anyone know this error and knows how it is to be remedied?
Reflah to 2.3.6 is not an option because there is no zoom on the camera works.

My Galaxy S5 mini (stock ROM, no tweaks) spontaneously freezes approx. once per week. The only solution is then to remove the battery before rebooting.
Did anyone experience the same problem ?

Sometimes when im watching tv series on chrome my g800f freezes and sometimes it reboots for no reason. But that happens rarely.
