Nintendo Wavebird configuration with Android - Off-topic

I have my gamecube wavebird hooked up to my device and I was wondering if there was any way anyone knew of to get some actual use out of it instead of it just being a novelty because in its current state to me that is all it is. The main joystick doesn't seem to work, all of the buttons seem to be functioning as the same input, some sort of double click. The dpad works fine and the cstick seems to function also. I could use a ps4 controller for things just as easily but I love the feel of wavebirds in my hands. I would much rather use it.

Still haven't been able to get the wavebird working correctly. Does anyone have any advice for me?

Looking for feedback on SOTI Pocket Controller

Does anyone have any experience with SOTI Pocket Controller and the Kaiser (Tilt)? It looks like a decent application but I wanted to check with other Kaiser owners. Feedback is appreciated. Thank you.
I've used this on both my Wizard and my Kaiser and it works as advertised. It definitely saves me time after a hard reset being able to use my keyboard!
I use it with my tytn II all the time. its so much easier typing out sms messages using the pc keyboard and for general use for entering information onto my phone
great for doing screenshots with the phone as a background or just the screen capture also

I use it as well on my Hermes and my Kasier. Hard to beat for remote control from my desktop for sms and screenshots.
Ryan in support has been great the few times I have needed support.

Purchased and...
I purchased the software and it is really nice. I was hoping the File Explorer would allow me to see everything but it appears that I am not able to see all files; even with show system files checked. Does anyone know of a workaround?
Thanks for the feedback. It is defiantly worth it.
MyMobiler is free and I think it does the same stuff:

I use it with my Tilt and it works perfectly. Couldn't ask for more.

its not quite the same. with pocket controller you also get full use of your d-pad and buttons and you can configure hotkeys
Use it, love it. If you look hard enough you can get it really cheap.
Great Program. I believe upgrades are free for 1 year, which is a bummer....but still the best program out there for remote control/display.
The new 6.x version even has Explorer, Registry, Task Management and System Info right from your PC Desktop.
I use it on my Tytn and love it. I don't know how I lived without it. I leave it running on my desktop all the time. Just being able to use my mouse to quickly grab a phone number or send a text pretty much makes it worth it to me. Oh and being able to install software without having to install half from the desktop and then pickup the handset to tell it where to install it is another great thing. Oh and one last thing, because my phone is plugged into my computer as soon as I sit down, the bonus is that my phone is always charged. I don't have to think to stop and plug my phone into charge as its just a natural extension to plug it into the computer to use it as soon as I sit down. Its just plain wonderful.

Driver Wanted (Cool Project)

Hi Everyone... If you read any of my past posts, you will know I LOVE my Tilt... highyl reccomend it to anyone... My one biggest complaint is when it comes to gaming, the controls suck... I have wlays loved using my phone as a portable video games device using various emulators... All the way from my first Motorola MPX 200 .... I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to use a Wii Mote as a wireless gaming controller... Somehow connect it via bluetooth and use its buttons to control..
I have "cheated" already and done something simmilar using a Bluetooth Keyboard... Worked great, but lugging around a full sized keyboard is a bit much... I can keep a Wiimote in the car (as I already do for when I am at a friends)... The way the screen til on the phone is perfect.. So, basically I jsut need the wiimote to work like a keyboard, and use the Emulators software to map the buttons myself... Any suggestions? Would I need a driver or is there another route?? I am not worried about using the itnternal sensors or anything.. just basic up down left right a b button stuff... The "Cool" factor to get this working would over the top..
Of course, the phone is the Tilt.. I am still using the standard AT&T 6.0 Rom that came on the phone with all the usual tweaks... I use Pocket Nester to emulate the NES... Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
i dont know about the wiimote but if you want to try, activate bluetooth and search for devices, press 1 and 2 on the wiimote. if it asks for a code, try 0000.
otherwise you can buy this device http://zeemote.com/
I'm not sure about winmo, but I know for desktop there are a ton of ways to use the wii-mote, both wired and wirelessly. It would be really cool to use on on the tilt, but I think we would need to create drivers first.

Omnia Mouse on Xperia X1

hello
please help me to have a mouse cursor like Omnia mouse on Xperia X1 !!!!
i now it's only a software , but i can't find it !!!
thanks a lot !!
i tried out an Omnia before getting the xperia and the 'mouse' option was one thing i liked about it. so i'll second that request.
+1 on that request. Might be a way to port over the dll and drivers from the Omnia or Epix.
would lik this also
Yeah, i'm jumping on the bandwagon too.
I just know about this programm. But it's shareware .
I just tried it. I don't like it. I would like some diagonal movement of the mouse, but is it possible?
i swear i saw an app like this a few months ago (forgot its name) being developed on this forum, at that stage there was no optical joystick function but the were planning it for the next updated, who knows what stage it is at now???
I found another app that might fit the bill:
http://www.teksoftco.com/index.php?section=usbinput
I haven't tried it, but it looks promising. It gives us mouse and keyboard support. And it has two versions, one for connecting via our unit's USB slot, and one via Bluetooth.
Based on the videos I've seen on its website, it didn't show it in landscape mode, so I don't know if it can do things flawlessly in this mode. Not sure how stable it is too.
What I really want is a universal USB capability for the Xperia wherein we can connect any input device, or flash/thumb drives or external hard disks . Is there such a thing? If there is, kindly point me to the right direction!

If, for example there is a USB host driver available, can it make the Xperia's USB slot into a host? The reason I asked is because I just googled and found someone who has sort of produced these drivers, check it out:
http://forum.ppcwarez.org/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=58813
The original poster was the one who packaged it, and it seems to be freeware. The thing I'm not so clear about is that he mentioned that his unit is a Fujitsu Siemens Pocket Loox 560N, and that it shipped with USB host capability. I don't know if he was actually saying that he has extracted the necessary drivers from his unit or that a unit with host capability is a requirement for this app...hmmmm... Well, I haven't tried it yet because it scares me. Anyone brave enough to try it and report on the findings?
we now the X1 and Omnia has a trackpad for scrolling !!!
omnia has a software to turn this trackpad into a virtual mouse , i need this software to turn my X1 trackpad into a virtual mouse like omina !!!
i really need it , please help me !!!
thanks a lot !!!
hmmm
Not sure why this hasn't been done yet? I think it would be great to have the optical pad function as a mouse for quick one handed use...

Can you please explain...how would a mouse function provide a "quick one handed use"?
It's always faster to simply press the icon on the touchscreen. Also, using the D-PAD to select is faster than trying to hit the right icon with a thumb on a small optical pad.
I never had the use for an optical mouse for the time I use the Xperia and I really doubt it would be an effort.
This should be no offense, it's just my experience.
it is faster, because to touch something on the screen, it is way more comfortable to hold the device in the left hand and use your right hand fingers, if you need to be precise. with the optical mouse you can position the cursor almost pixel-accurate. it is very useful, but i missed a regular dpad on the i780.
a regulard dpad + mouse would be best.
u need to hands to use ur device???

That's exactly what I wanted to say with my post.
I hold the phone in my hand and touch the screen with the same hand's thumb. Works fine, works exactly and I never use the stylus and therefore I have no need for a mouse either
I don't understand why you who don't need/want a mousecursor post in this thread.
I myself would like the option to use a mousecursor. Maybe I won't use it, maybe I will.
More features= More fun...

OMG ... you sound like a marketing guy. more features = more fun. look @ twitter, less features -> way more fun
but for real, it would only make things more difficult. if u are unable to place your finger/stylus on an marked spot, then imagine how complicated it will become for you if u have to place a mousecursor with the optical pad
during the time u spent to place the cursor over a certain spot, i would have allready taken out my stylus, touched the spot and insterted it back sicne the optical pad is somewaht limited.

Logitech BT Keyboard w/ case

http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/tablet-keyboard-ipad?crid=1240
I know it says it's for ipad, I am wondering if it would work with the N7? Did anyone get a chance to try one of these?
It looks really good, not too small, also the case can be used as a sort of dock.
LE: for clarification, I know there is an android version too, but at the store I could pick this up, they only have the ipad version. I cannot order online at the moment. At least from the pictures the two versions seem very similar, and I was assuming they use the same BT connectivity technology.
My guess would be that its usable since its Bluetooth but the Android version would be more useful. Kind of like having a Mac vs PC keyboard on your computer. Some keys have odd symbols like the Apple command key (sometimes called the cloverleaf key) working like a control key or perhaps the Windows key. Placement of some keys will be different also. As someone who's used nothing but PC keyboards on Macs for decades I'm used to the differences but you might not like them.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
You are right. I saw the key layout. Will wait with the keyboard... it's not that urgent anyway.
Wife has one, it works fine, but missing any Android-specific keys that might be on keyboards, I honestly don't know what they'd be though.. I assume things like home, back, search, media play/stop etc... None of that works. The "Opt" key launches stuff, but none of it particularly useful (Calculator etc).
But for typing etc, it works fine.

There's an android / windows version too...

Can I emulate the touch in the Windows Phone screen?

I want to create an app to emulate the touch in the screen virtually (like the Sixaxis Controller), but I don't know if this is possible. The OS allows me to do this? Can someone help me? I'm a noob
Well, some days ago I saw videos on YouTube showing the Moga Controller working on a Windows Phone device. So I was imagining that would can be something like the sixaxis controller for Android. I asked myself if something like this would be possible in the Microsoft OS. Would so cool make an app to connect a Xbox One or PS4 Controller on the phone through the USB port or bluetooth, configure the points in the screen where must touch, and play the game. Exactly like the Sixaxis Controller.
I have almost sure that I'm dreaming so much high, but would cool, wouldn't?
Not sure. You can query the object state for things under a pointer and raise their Clicked events, but I don't know a way to simply just simulate a click or gesture. Anybody else have any idea? This kind of thing is actually pretty common for automated testing, but I've never tried doing it on WP. Maybe see if there's some automation classes in WP and perhaps they can do it.
I can almost guarantee you wont be able to click on *other* apps, though. Just the one that is sending the touch events.
How Moga Controller can?
