Hello,
Let's share your discovery about secret codes and their meaning.
You can find ALL secret codes available in your device by installing Shortcut Master app --> go to 'Secret Code Explorer' menu.
You can also discover other hidden features by using 'Search' menu...
I will start with the code *#*#8255#*#* (or *#*#TALK#*#*) - this will open the GTalk Service Monitor menu.
Please share your discovery...
Anyone please?
Any new secret codes beside the well-know code *#*#4636#*#*?
For your convenience, you can download the shortcuts list files and import in to the app.

Face it, dude. You are just SPAMMING for your app and everyone sees it.
On my Bionic, Stock ROM has an option to have the Caller ID Readout set to "Caller ID then Ring". I have played with a few CyanogenMOD Roms and other roms but cannot find one that contains this feature. It is not anywhere in the phone settings or in the accessibility options (short of TalkBack but that reads much more than just the Caller ID with no way to restrict to just Caller ID Readout). If anyone has any experience on how to get this activated in a custom ROM let me know. I have searched the interweb up and down for any apk that would provide this feature with no success. Thanks.
I am looking also. Used to have that in my Droid X. Call from fuk head... Lol. I think it may be part of the dialer app.
<>not sure if im posting in the right are. please move if so</>
I have an idea for an app but it would need to act as a dialer without going through the main dialer app, is this possible? i haven't even seen alternate dialers on the play store
It's such as a great idea to do...
If you want to dial a phone, the code is simple:
Code:
Uri number = Uri.parse("tel:123456789");
Intent callIntent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_DIAL, number);
startActivity(callIntent);
This will require CALL_PHONE permission.
so according to this article: https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2017/11/oneplus-engineering-apk-exposes-backdoor-to-root-access/
"...The important part, though, is a "DiagEnabled" activity with a method called "escalatedUp." If this is set to "true," the app will allow root access over Android Debug Bridge, Android's command-line developer tools."
the article says the APK was also found in Asus and Xiaomi devices... I wonder if maybe it is also on the Moto Z?
I looked, it isn't there.
I was just wondering whether any bright mind who had his hands on those devices managed to save this as apk
I searched around a bit without too much of a success, but I do believe we can try running it on our Motorolas if we happen finding it.
On a separate note: invoking Rlz Debug UI aka 'Google Partner Setup' by entering *#*#759#*#* into dialer (see screenshot) lists one option called "OEM mode" with possibility to set it to true or false - does anyone know what this is meant for? What is OEM mode after all?

MIMO 4x4 activation in Samsung S9
Hi,
What is the code to activate the MIMO 4x4 on samsung S9 and S9+?
Tried *#*#4636#*#* to no avail.
The IMEI one works though. Pretty crazy how it pops up the IMEI without hitting SEND even.
this is for an entirely different phone than the galaxy s9. Not a Samsung phone.
how do i see the band locking options on Galaxy S9 SM-G960U Verizon, all other carrier have hidden menu enabled but not verizon.
The codes do not work on the Verizon version. They're probably for the Cubot wireless company's version only.
Great, thanks!
