Anybody with Verizon have the enhanced 4g lte in settings. I've flashed pure nexus, chroma and the option wasn't there. To be fair I had chroma installed and it was there then the option disappeared. So my volte wasn't working because option was gone. Advanced calling is in my account. The only way I can get enhanced 4g lte is in cm. I've just trying to figure out if it's just me. I have the latest radio for Verizon that they just pushed out for 5.1.1
Have you gone to the dialer and entered in *#*#4636#*#*?
Once that is entered there should be an option at the bottom. Tap it once and restart the phone if it doesn't switch immediately.

So I have a Stock Verizon Moto X 2013 with an AT&T sim. SMS, MMS, and Voice all work. The only thing that doesn't is the Mobile Data. I have tried to manually change to APNs, turning off radios and network refreshing. When I am not on Wifi, the celluar signal looks fine, containing white bars. However, as soon as I go off WIFI connection, the celluar signal immediatly turns orange in the Quick Notifications toggle. Please. I don't even want LTE, just some 3G would be nice. How can I fix this?
I'm also running a Verizon phone on AT&T, and 3G data does work. I'm not sure I can trouble shoot your specific problem, but I can tell you what worked for me.
I ditched the stock ROM, and installed Krypton 1.4 ROM. Then I installed Xposed and the GravityBox module.
This gives you access to the custom mobile network settings, "preferred network type", "select network", and "network mode" (see pics).
Using these settings, I get HSPA connectivity.

I have a T-Mobile Nexus 6 I have been using on Verizon since it came out. This is by far the best phone ever. I have Android 5.1 with HD voice and VoLTE enabled. I have been through all levels of Verizon tech support and have been told that my Nexus 6 will never have VoLTE activated on my line because I am using a phone purchased from another carrier. I have not been given a clear answer as to what in my phone is not compatible with VZW's VoLTE. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You can set it up in my verizon I believe. I was able to do that though I did that way before I changed my phone to nexus 6
My GPS N6 won't do volte either even though its activated on both ends. They say my device will always be an unknown in their system.
I don't believe that at all. My Moto purchased N6 has VoLTE right now and has for a few weeks now.
I put my sim in my daughter's Droid Maxx and was able to get the HD voice option added to my line, but the feature or VoLTE will not activate on the VZW network with it in my N6. Tier 2 support told me it will never be compatible or activated.

Is it activated on your account? If so enter *#*#4636#*#* on your phone dialer.
- When the 'Testing' menu opens select 'phone'
- Scroll down to a button that says something about "Turn On VoLTE Flag" select it.
- Restart your phone and wait until you jump back onto the network.
- Go to your cellular network settings and make sure your preferred network is LTE/CDMA, and enhanced 4G LTE is ticked 'on'.
Done... I just did it myself. Let us know how it goes.
My sprint N6 running on Verizon had VoLTE right now without any issues.

Done all that. Mine shows being on, both on mine and their side. Doesn't work.

Are both phones running 5.1? What kind of phone does the other person have? Are you sure it's set up properly? I had to tinker with my wifes iPhone6+ to make sure it was activated on her device.
The other possibility is that VoLTE may not be in your area.
Guys! All nexus 6 devices are created the same. I fought and fought with Verizon to turn this on for my GPS device. Got endless run around. Had a friend with a Verizon nexus 6. Popped my Sim in his phone. Got it activated. Popped it back and all is good. Also don't assume it works in your ROM. Flash stock for testing of volte.
For the longest time I couldn't understand why VOLTE was not working for me. I had it enabled before getting the GPS N6. I later found the ROM did not support it. Now most ROMs I try have this feature working.

I have a T-Mobile purchased Nexus 6 and I activated VoLTE on verizon's website and on the phone and it's been working since day one. I am using stock.
All the n6's sold here are the same model, xt1103. Keep trying.
I just updated to the latest m build and volte now works. Running Scotts stock build. I initially clean flashed Chroma and it quit working again. Reflash M and it works.

Chroma has been had voice over lte working for the last couple of builds. If you're talking about the early stages then yes volte wasn't present since a large number of proprietary libraries and apps were missing from the original packaging provided by Google.

I finally have VOLTE working! I did three things, though, and am unsure which made the difference. I installed Scott's stock rooted ROM as a secondary ROM using Multirom. Volte worked using this ROM. I then rebooted into my primary ROM, which is Euphoria, updated to it's latest version, toggled VOLTE off and then back on in the hidden menu, and I then VOLTE was working! I hope the FCC burns Verizon for treating their customers like this. It's all because of their refusal to add our devices to their database.

I just recently switched to Rogers in Canada, which has VoLTE support for their entire LTE network.
However, I don't have the special menu to enable VoLTE calling. Going into 4636 menu, there is only an option to turn the VoLTE flag off, and pressing it doesn't do anything (not even the text changes).
Is this feature somehow only hardcoded to Verizon and T-Mobile USA? I have the latest 5.1.1 update for the phone (LMY47Z)

LMY47Z has the settings. Make sure VOLTE is turned on on your Rogers account. Must be enabled on Verizon I know. Also have seen the setting not appear. Flashing the userdata image fixed it for some reason. May need to format userdata afterwards also if on 64GB device and and it reverts to 32GB.
Was on Rogers a couple weeks ago. Looked into VoLTE but appears is only available currently on the LG device launched with the service. Asked if it had to be enabled on account and was told that when the service is available for your device will become active. Ditched Rogers a few weeks back for kodoo and don't miss robbers at all.
Thanks folks.
Their FAQ doesn't mention enabling the feature, just that they had one phone back when they launched the feature that supported it. I'll contact them to see, but its a hassle since its a corporate plan not owned by me, so they wont talk to me without some intermediary being there.
[Q] on pure nexus 6.0 r1 I cannot get any data/lte my signal works but no data.?
I flashed the pure nexus ROM 6.0 release coming from benzorom some nightl y build not positive which. I flash the 6.0 bootloader and radio from recovery and then flashed the ROM and gapps. Can't get any data for some reason. Can someone help?
Are you on tmobile?? I had to add the correct APN to get data

No I'm on Verizon actually. I always thought Verizon automatically had the APN settings stored? Its kinda odd. But it sucks because I want to use that ROM. Its so nice!
Here's your solution!

Hi all,
I installed the 5.1OTA and could not get Verizon Enhanced LTE (advanced calling, VoLTE, etc....) to work. I tried what everyone else suggested and nothing made it work (never showed the enhanced LTE setting in the cellular menu). Here are the steps I took in case anyone else is having the same problem.
1. Re-Install radio and bootloader from here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934540313
2. Enter the hidden menu using *#*#4636#*#*
3. Go in to Phone information
4. Click the TURN ON VOLTE PROVISIONED FLAG button (wont change)
5. Click the TURN OFF RADIO button
6. Wait a few seconds (for radio to turn off) and then click the TURN ON RADIO button.
7. Observe that the TURN ON VOLTE PROVISIONED FLAG button has changed to TURN OFF....
8. Go in to Settings>>...More>>Cellular Networks and make sure that Enhanced 4G LTE Mode is enabled.
I did all this and I still did not have data while making a call. I had to go to VZW site and go into my account and tell it to activate a device on my current line. I entered the IMEI and it gave me a warning about softcard and then went right back to same screen, When I clicked next it gave me a warning that it was unsupoorted device. After this it all worked perfect although the phone is still not recognized on the VZW site.

This and a quick call to Customer Care (*226) for them to provision Advanced Calling took care of it for me.

Go look at your apn settings/more/cellular networks/access point names/ find the one selected then compare it to what Verizon apn should be. I have tmobile and when i installed the ROM there was only two apns neither worked.

Hello I'm having some issues getting LTE to work on my Nexus 6 running BenzoRom.
I am only able to get 3G, when I previously had LTE working for a very long time. I'm not exactly sure what happened but I tried clearing, dalvik cache, cache, restoring default APN settings, restarting my phone, flashing a new rom, putting in a different sim card (with LTE working) and nothing fixed the issue.
I'm guessing I should just flash stock rom but I'd rather not go through the hassle. I think it might be my APN settings since I vaguely remember messing with it but I restored back to default and LTE still did not show up.
What the heck happened?
Have you gone into the phone menu? If not, *#*#4636#*#* then select phone... And look at my screen shot; at the preferred network type and the turn off volte flag... Yours may say turn on. I reboot after selecting the network and turning on the volte flag
Then in settings/more/cellular networks there should be enhanced 4g/LTE mode, turn that on of it isn't already.
Ya, I'm a dope... Adding the screenshot I referenced.
