So about a week ago I bought this samsung galaxy s3 lte gt-I9305, after 2 days i rooted it and installed Agni custom kernel. No problems yet. Then about 3 days ago I installed cm12.1 and i noticed that the Agni custom kernel wasn't working on it (Sleep of Death, Lag, Stuttering, Freezing.) And now I tried to flash the stock firmware via odin and It lags like hell and keeps freezing and rebooting right after i get to choose my language. The other stock based roms won't work either. Please help. And sorry if bad english.

I always use right kernel for the roms I install. Oddly the stock firmware I tried to install is now working. The only problem is that it now freezes in 5-15 minutes.

I am coming from rocket rom 22 but since I always had little bugs here and there, I had decided to choose LA4 stock rooted and slightly tweaked rom with franco kernel 7. It seems, with all custom roms, I have had some sort of SOD problems. One SOD every few days. then I flashed LA4 rooted and franco kernel 4, 5, 6, and now 7. It seems everything works well but I am getting one SOD every day. This does not happen when phone is in deep sleep it happens randomly. when I put my phone down and screen shuts off and then if I try to unlock my phone after a few seconds, i find the phone is in SOD. I have to take out the battery to re-initiate the phone. yesterday I was making a call and then phone shut off and went into sod. now I am all confused and a bit irritated.
what should I do? please help. I have resetted the phone a few times and still the same thing. Please help.
did you overclock your processor all the time?
P.S
Connect to the PC ODIN and flash stock rom., with any CF root kernel.

No over-clocking at all, rom is stock with slight tweaks.

then please flash stock rom with CF root kernel from PC odin.
After always use [SCRIPT] jBroid Kernel Cleaning before flashing kernels
P.S .
A lot of tweaks not compatible with some kernels.
PC odin also will remove all garbage from some folders where the standard recovery cant clean.
I also recommend to you later CheckROM Revo NoteHD™ V5.
Stay with stock kernel just to see if any SOD issues will appear again.
Hi everyone.I am having an issue with CM7 nighly (17/06/2012).Issue is that my phone shows no network whenever I reboot. And it stays like that for about 15 min.Same issue I am having with CM9 beta 8.And on stock everything is fine!

Hello everyone, i sucessfully installed the latest kernel for my x8 (E15_2.6.32.61-nAa-06.ftf) and the phone boots into the recovery mode, i already tried 2 diferent roms but both dont work with this kernel, since they ask for an older kernel when i try to install them.
What roms do work with the latest kernel so i can revive this old phone?
In the rom threads it is mentioned with what kernels they work with.

if you want to install GBv31b,cm7 use latest kernel E15_nAa-14_2.6.29.6-nAa-14,
for cm9,10 series i think you have to use ICS kernel....
search in forum.

Xperia X8THE LEGENDARY
But i have installed the latest kernel and i cant find where it shows on how to install an older kernel. And in the thread with the list of Roms's the latest ones dont have support for this kernel. So im stuck with it with no Rom.

each ROM has each kernel on the Requirement dude
just follow the instruction
So i finally solved the problem and managed to install another kernel, but the phone keeps showing the boot animation for the kernel and doesnt boot into the actual ROM.
EDIT:Thank you BlackRabbit1703 for the stock kernel link, i restored to the default and im going to try everything again.

I can't find a single ROM that will work with my phone, i have already tried 7 ROM's from 4.1 to 2.3 with custom or stock kernel non work, with custom kernels the phone just shows the kernel animation, with the stock kernel the 2.3 ROM's just show the animation and freeze.
Go into the cwm and factory reset, clear dalvik cache and try again. Also, they may take a while to boot...
I tried almost every kernel i could found, and ended up using a ROM with the stock kernel since non works for me.
It's working so im fine with it, thank you for your time.
