What ROM do you use, this way everybody can form an opinion, even developers.

Which is the best ICS Custom Rom that you've tried on your Note and why?

Which ever one you like the best? Honestly, there is no such thing as the "best" in the custom ROM world. What suits you best? I don't know, I can't answer that for you. If you want Touchwiz and S-Pen capabilities...there are a few options. Do you like AOSP? MIUI?...cause there are a few of those as well!

imlika's AOSP ICS hands down for me. I had issues with partial root permissions with all other ICS releases, but not with AOSP. Also it's slim (no Samsung crapware), fast and can be run in tablet mode with no issues.
The only downside is the video recording doesn't work (missing drivers, will be fixed in time hopefully), and USB connectivity (this can be overcome by using various WiFi file sharing apps from the market).
Okay, I'll play. I'd have to agree. AOSP at the moment is pretty damn flawless, and for most people, the pure Google experience is the preferred one. I also love MIUI to death, and I think the level and ease of customization is unparalleled anywhere in the mobile OS realm.

Thanks, I know there is no best thing in anything in life for that matter. Just want some personal opinions! I just have the Chinese Leaked ICS Rom and I'm looking for something else.

I use imilka's aosp, mostly because I love the tablet mode capability in that,
and if i want stock, I would use Team Rocket rom, version 1.6 is gonna be released tomorrow and it has lots of fix, So I hear.

rom/kernel and cam percormance

i just got my nexus and its still on stock non root. but i remember when i was on lg optimus one, every rom/kernel i flashed made the cam performance lesser than stock. is it the same with our nexus? tia

No.

No. Its been said already but I'll elaborate. The camera will remain the same because the stock camera is AOSP. Because the different Roms get the camera from AOSP the camera will be the same. The beauty of having a nexus device is that anything from AOSP will work perfectly on our device.

Stock Android?

After owning my Note 4 for a few days, I already miss stock Android found on Nexus devices. I'm really thinking about returning this and getting a Nexus 6 just for that reason.
Are there any good *fully working* (i.e. EVERY FEATURE WORKS) stock Android roms available for the Note 4? I'm not even talking Cyanogen here as even that is a bit too modded for my taste. I just like the simplicity of stock Nexus roms.

Cm12 just landed in the development threads, it's an alpha, but pretty smooth so far. I'm sure development will be pretty fast.

As I mentioned, I don't want Cyanogen. Just Nexus style AOSP.

Probably not going to be made for this device since AOSP styles (like Nexus 5 and below) are from 4.x firmwares.
Going forward not backward. Cyanogen is the closest you'll get.
Why buy a Note to rip out all its pen goodness? Just curious.

[Q] Anyone working on Paranoid for Moto X2?

Hey guys,
is there anyone working on a awesome Paranoid-Rom?
Best wishes
While I'd love to have Paranoid on this device, I'm not switching ROMs till we get one with the Moto apps working. (well, moto display at the very least)
Guess I'll be rocking stock for a long long time.

Yeah, me too, mate, I would not switch ROMs before some with Moto apps (display at least).
Im tired about the moto apps... I didnt like thr moto display APP :S
You guys will be waiting a long time.. aka forever lol... Can try AcDisplay from the play store.. It's similar to moto display
Didnt like that app, mate. Not very similar to MotoDisplay.
And its sensors are amazing to use.

I hate motodisplay... It sux very well
The badest are the two different lockscreens xD
I love my moto 360 and cm or pa Roms
why? when you unlock the moto display, it does not show another lockscreen. No problem with that.
X1097
Press the power button if the moto is locked or open an APP with the smartwatch...
I'm working on porting the rom, don't know how long it'll take. First port but so far so good
If u request it on their G+ page usually they will consider it but one of the Devs from PA would need to own the device.
I bought a oneplus one

thinking about trying out a aosp rom and just was curious what everyones running
Xenon Hd. Buttery smooth, love the layers as well but missing the camera quality of touchwiz roms.
Moved to Q&A.
Haven't tried any other aosp roms other than Temasek's. I've used his roms in the past, always a big fan of his work.
