Rom: CM 12.1
Before moving to cm12.1 i was using stock 5.1.1.
During stock:
When using wifi and charging my mobile with laptop via data cable then mobile charge's even.
During CM12.1:
When using wifi and chargin my mobile with laptop device does not charges it stays on the exact % . like i when its on 30% when chargin with laptop while wifi it will stay on 30% even after 1 hour.
Whats the problem with this ?

my laptop detecting a wifi signal of 3 bars while my note cannot detect any wifi signal. when I am close the wifi-Routers, the signal is 100% but as i move away from the wifi-Router the signal drops very rapidly.
Is there a problem ?? Please help.
what changes have u done to ur note (as in flashed a different rom or something)
It is something related to the hardware....laptop's wifi card has high reception power because it can draw more power from the laptop's battery which more powerful than our mobile phones....
But our mobile phones are compact and thus small battery =less power=less power for wifi card.I think that's why the signal drops rapidly.
And I don't say that it can be only because of hw limitation.it can also be sw related....

I didnt make any changes. Virgin Note
I am using a Nook HD+ with the CM 10 SD card install.
I have WiFi mobile hotspot on my cell phone. When I turn the hotspot on, both the stock OS and CM 10 can connect to it. The difference is that on the stock OS, I can browse the web and on CM 10, I can’t.
Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot? CM 10 connects perfectly to the WiFi at my house. This is only a problem with my mobile hotspot.
This is the first time I tried using the mobile spot with the Nook, so it was never working in the past and stopped working now.

Hi guys. ..I am using CM with locked bootloader along with stock .266 kernel. My WiFi range is very good, but often my WiFi gets disconnected.. WiFi menu is shows that there is enough signal, but still it is not connecting . If I leave the phone idle for 5 minutes, it automatically reconnects..
What is the solution for this problem?

I am using samsung galaxy note GTN7000 with CWM 10.1.3. Recently i got into a weird issue of shutdown. Phone switches off automatically after sometime when i am using internet through wifi or 3g. But if the charger is plugged in it will not shut down. Also it does not shut down if internet is not in use i.e. wifi is off and mobile data is disabled. I tried changing ROMs, went back to stock ROM but problem still persists.

Try to use the camera with flash and check if the phone shuts down... Could be issue with battery.
Since update 23.5.A.0.575 my phone is heating and suffers of fast battery drain only under mobile data network, no problems using wi-fi. I don't know if, in this case, is necessary to try a reset using Xperia Companion, it seems more a problem of the updated radio module with this firmware. Any suggestions?
