Hi Folks iv spent a lot of time on different forums trying to find a solution to this problem but i am not getting a definitive answer.
The problem i have is that my WIFI is stuck in the turning on phase. it just keeps flashing without turning on. IT does not even manage to find a network. I am currently on 4.3.3 kitkat and my service provider is meteor Ireland.
Iv tried every suggestion on the internet but nothing seems to work for me. Im wondering is it a hardware issue or do you think i could get around this by rooting the phone and installing a custom ROM.
Thanks in advance for any help.

YES !
You can update Radio Rom(GSM) of the phone to check which provides you with the best signal reception and fewer missed calls. The most commonly recommended here are Radio Rom 2.19.11, 2.69.11 or latest 2.71.11.
Try out all of them and check which suites you the best.
Cheers!
i tried installing all of those Radio Roms. Non of them worked, is there anything else i can do to make this phone work? The phone was new out of the box and I haven't done any mods to it besides the Roms above i installed on it to get it to work. No matter where I am when it does get signal it drops the call within 15 seconds of connecting then it will search for signal then come back. Any idea's?
i have the same problem and i have the same o2 mini s.
Is there anything i can do to get this phone to work? i have tried several roms and i have just installed wm6 to it and still can't get it to get service. can anyone please help me or any suggestions? Can anyone give me a link to all the new Radio Roms also to make sure that i have used them all.
Hi,
I got a rooted G1 which has been working for a loong time with alot of different roms.. One day when I was browsing the internet it suddenly lost all connection and it hasn't worked since.. When I set it to automatically select a network it says "Your SIM card does not allow a connection to this network.". The SIM card works on my Motorola Milestone..
To try to fix this, I've installed the newest SPL and radio and tried the *#*# 4636 #*#* fix..
None of these "fixes" have worked..
I really do hope you can help me..
I think its related to the operator, my G1 for instance while roming gives me this error no matter what i do while im in Norway, works fine everywhere else though(many other countrys/operators), at the same time my Nokia has no issue roming in Norway.

He did NOT have these problems before as stated he was just browsing and it just stopped working. I think this is a hardware problem. Have you tried wiping and installing a different rom?

Hi all,
I havent been on in awhile and have no real experience with Android. Last night and tonight I have been trying to debrand my Vodafone branded Legend and 5 minutes ago finally managed to do it.
After following the initial setup etc and connecting to my WiFi connection it was time to add my Orange Internet and MMS settings.
My internet doesnt seem to work though and wondered whether anyone can help me?
Many Thanks
James
P.S. I have searched for an answer but do not really know what I am searching for.
Hello community. I earlier today unlocked and rooted my HTC One from Sprint and for a while everything was all right stock rooted. Then just a while later, my Wifi wont turn on. I would press and it would say "Turning On" for a minute or so, and then say "Error". I have tried searching the HTC One forums and the site in general but I found either some other similar issues don't exactly relate to what Im experiencing, or nothing related at all. I tired a restoring a backup I made just prior(or maybe even during the error as Im not sure anymore) and to no avail. I need help
so lately even when switching roms and even going back to stock rom the wifi has become flaky, working when it wants to sometimes not even finding a network when it is searching. any ideas on what might be the problem?

Your model is a d400, d400h or d400hn?. I have the same problem with the wifi
If going back to stock it is still the same after a factory reset (deletes all data, backup first) and with different routes then it's a hardware issue, no matter what model you have.
My sollution
My problem was an update and restore the last version lol
