HI,
Ive just upgraded my firmware a few times and last to lollipop but now my screen (mainly on whites) has a grainy effect like pixels dancing around.
Is this a software problem or hardware? I'm doing a factory reset now to see if it fixes the problem.
Anyone else suffering the same problem?
Thanks
It seems it was a software issue. Hard reset solved the problem.

I have this Blue Angel or I-mate PDA2K for a couple months ago. It's working fine for a while. One day, I notice the touch screen LCD performance kind of slow. I decided to soft reset it. I did several times..it didn't fix the problem...then I decided to hard reset it. After I hard reset it...all the suddenly, the touch screen LCD not working at all. Does any1 know how to fix this problem? Let me know, thank you! Do you think if I upgrade ROM to Windows Mobile 5....will fix the problem? Just a thought. Have a great day.

That maybe a hardware problem... but if you want just try to reflash your device...
hi!
my touch diamond's display was broken now for 2 months and has been repairedby htc. yesterday i got it back and it seems like they changed the whole inner life, because all data was gone and there was a different rom installed.
so i tried out some of the new roms and with each of them i got the same prob:
the diamond seems to randomly reset when im playing around with it.
one thing i found out: at one rom it often restarted when i used the TF23D weather-function...
did anyone of you experienced something similar? what can i do? i my device broken again or any SW bug?
thanks!
no ideas?
alrdy tried original rom + original spl, didn't solve the problem.
if u don't have got any ideas i have to send it back to HTC
I got the same problem, can't find a solution

Are you using a screen protector ?

My phone had a problem and the supplier replaced it with a new piece. No problems now
Hi,
What kind of problem?
I also have the Ambient light sensor issue. The proximity sensor also fails.
The first time it happened, I tried (in last resort) a Factory reset, and both worked again.
But I'm not going to perform a factory reset every time these sensors stop working...
Help!
EDIT: I went back to the shop and they took it for repair. They declared a motherboard issue. In the end they gave me a new one.

Hi and sorry to ressurrect an old thread - I'm facing the same issue.
When trying to do the service check I get the same message as this video:
I removed the screen protector and the issue continues - anyone know what could be wrong?
Really hoping I won't need help from Sony as they were not helpful at all with my last query.
The issue can be seen on youtube under video name: Ambiance light sensor problem on xperia z3 compact D5803
Thanks,
Hi! I am having the same issue now... I restored it to factory settings but it did not help. Any ideas?
I've replaced the screen and frame from my OP3T and all went fine until I boot it, no screen visible problems but the touch doesn't work, I can't do anything. I factory reset and that stuff but the issue still persists, If you can help me or tell me something about it I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks.
Hi guys,
I just bought an Asus Rog 3 in "used like new condition" and I am experiencing glitches on my screen. Here is a screen recording of a site I experienced this at its worst:
This also happens if I am on a video call and at the same time I am browsing on google.com
I've also experienced this (in a minor way) while playing Call of Duty. Is it a minor glitch? Can it be corrected via a software update or is this a hardware problem? Is it a settings issue? Do I need to send the phone back?
Any help is appreciated.
Is the question really serious?

Okay, to be honest this don't look like a software issue.
Or something that can be fixed with an update. It looks like an hardware failure.

If it were hardware failure then the screen recorder would not pick it up. not ruling hardware out completely but it is a software problem
If a clean flash using the unbrick firmware does not correct the problem definitely send it back
I factory reset it and I can't seem to find the glitch again. I video called for 20 minutes and browsed at the same time and nothing happened. I just hope nothing comes up in the future because of this.
Shouldnt, if it hasnt happened since the factory reset you should be in the clear.... software issue like I said.
