I don't see anything strange besides your signal (pretty bad). You could attach also or say how much time on Screen and on phone calls.

The only thing I would say about this is the signal, I can't think in any other thing.
Is that or maybe you have a faulty battery.

I just got it but I don't see why you would not upgrade. It actually feels slightly smoother

Have you played around with the 4.4 that much ?

It's very smooth. I am pleased although some apps aren't working with 4.4 yet. Tap and Pay is pretty awesome. New icons in the status bar are meh, I will root when in becomes available and use exposed and fix it.

Thanks. Guess I'll stay on 4.2 till xposed works. Also, did you make everything that big, or is that the default?

I don't understand why the battery indicator isn't aligned with the rest of the icons. Why does moto feel that they need to changed the stock 4.4 icons?

Motorola hasn't changed the look of any icon. It's how they look in 4.4 even on the nexus devices.

Uhhh. You're wrong on that one. They changed the battery icon, the signal icons, and the data icons. There's even a thread in the themes and apps section that reverts the icons back to the normal ones
So overall do you guys love the ui n icon from 4.4 or not ?

Really? Everything is fine just update dude.
Not sure how can you not upgrade when an update is available and waiting for you. Most people here in xda will be waiting to update and you are opposite. May be you just get some Samsung or other device which never gets updated

Agree completely. Absolutely hate what Motorola does to the status bar. Or maybe it's the carriers fault, but either way I hate it.

T Mobile version is free of carrier bloat of any kind so I don't think it's carrier related.

And in a decent 3g area... no lte amongst the cows and corn fields and all... this is first phone like this in 6 years I have not used a extended battery for long life...

Can anyone help me? Starting yesterday my son's phone started running really hot and the battery had been draining at a rapid rate. The battery info shows Motorola Services using most battery. This has never been the case. Here's a screen shot to show what I'm talking about. Can anyone tell me what to do to resolve this?

Something with Motorola Services is causing a really nasty wakelock. I would suggest clearing the app data/cache for all Moto apps, reboot, and seeing if the wakelock goes away. You can see if there's any gaps in the phone being awakle in the expanded battery settings.
I cleared everything and problem persists. In the last half hour I've lost 28% of my battery. This sucks. I have a feeling I'm going to have to restore everything to defaults

You can try flashing the firmware again (if a flashable 4.4.3 firmware for your device is out.....don't downgrade!!!!....or just try a factory reset first.
You did reboot? That will usually clear stuck apps.
Either above scenario, all your apps and data will be gone.
Are you rooted? If so, backup with titanium backup. If not, you can try helium. I've never used it...but apparently it doesn't need root.
Alternatively.... Try going into the moto apps and turning them off. Or, if rooted....freeze them in titanium backup.
KMV78Y is the new build number.
Just refreshed mine and nothing. I just bought mine today so that'd be nice to have an update already! Hope they put a changelog soon.

That's the same build number that was just released for the LG G Watch. I doubt that two different companies would use the same version numbers, so are you sure?

My version on my Gear is the same thing except instead of the Y, its an X. So that's definitely the format for the gear.

I don't have any problems with battery life, but a lot of people seem to complain about it. At midnight last night I was at 28% after taking it off the cradle at 7 am. Right now I'm at 80% at 3:30pm EST after taking it off the cradle at 7 am. I don't let the screen stay on and I keep my brightness at 3.
Does this update break anything.. Root wise? I just got notified about it
I got the notification
I'd imagine that if rooted, it wouldn't install. Just like a nexus device. If it did though, root would usually be lost. Give it a go and let us know

This Is Not A Big Bug.....
Due To When Mobile Network Connected (Data,Networking,WIFI) And We Make Any Speaker Activity (Playing Game,Unlocking And Locking,Etc..),This Causes Some Radiation Sound....Because Our Moto G 2014 Has Two Powerful Front Facing Speakers...
This Is Normal Like This Example-When You Are Making A Call Or Making Data Connectivity In Front Of A T.V Or A Microphone,This Also Causes Some Radiation Sound As Same....
Thank You
