should I use f2fs for latest CM 11? - Nook HD, HD+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am trying to install latest version of cm11 and I just want to know if I should apply F2FS for better performance?
Is cm11 compatible with F2FS?
I am new to this so please give me your advice.
Thanks.

New rom, nice ?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Might have to try this.
Does f2fs make much of a difference to the performance of the device?
is this all f2fs ready also can you provide a version without recovery?

I build this ROM to create a mako version of the PhilZ recovery -- which supports f2fs & exfat (found in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/orig-development/mako-philz-touch-t2210081).
As far as I know, the standard CM nightlies for mako, as in my UNOFFICIAL build (http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/development/rom-cm11-10-2-10-1-nightlies-nexus-4-t2139784/) don't fully support f2fs. I'm not sure if the standard CM recovery, if built with this ROM, would fully support f2fs.
No builds for an indefinite period. My phone will be in for repairs, so, I can't check to see if the builds have problems.

Mokee or Official CM12?

Hello guys,
Can you tell me which rom is better?
Mokee or CM12?
Both are officially available in nightly version.
Give your suggestions with some data like ram management, battery backup, customization,etc....

[Q] f2fs Lollipop ROM support

Hello guys only one question does any lollipop rom support f2fs?
Thanks
CM12.1 from Marcelo supports it on Cache and Data. Everything else has to be formatted on ext.
This one I can guarantee. I don't know about other ROMs.
If I am not wrong, like almost every rom is based in the same source, is likely that most of roms support it, I tested it in CM, Bliss and RR and all these support f2fs for data and cache.

Hello.I have an Samsung Galaxy S4 Active and I'm using the optimized lineage os from 19 jan. Could anyone recommend me a good and stable ROM for everyday use but in the same time to have performance ?
CM11 is what you need. Here you go: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58442741&postcount=1112
Make sure you install the latest build(20150126).

But it's not a little outdated ?
If security is what you want, then you should install the latest LineageOS build. There is a i9505 up-to-date kitkat build, only if I knew how to port it,or if someone could port it.
If xposed is important to you go with CM13 (MM). That is my choice now, 28/dez + my mic fix works very well.
If you like Samsung style go with WizCyan (LP)
Otherwise go with RR or LOS (N)
Miui 8 is another alternative (MM)
For performance don't move apps to storage, uninstall all apps that you don't use (included system ones), install Kernel Adiutor and do tunning like this:

Our RR is stable. At least the newest version... I'm using it as daily for more than a week now, no problems whatsoever.

As soon as xposed is available to N, that will be my daily choice. Thanks for the builds!
I don't know which modules you need but most things that required xposed on LP are now integrated into N.
Especially in RR version which is highly customizable.

I am crazy or something but stock rom moves smoother than any custom rom or I am doing something wrong when I m installing custom rom.
I had stock LP ROM with only deodex and xposed running and it was never as smooth as Nougat...

Direct Upgrade CM 12.1 to 14

Can i update my current 12.1 to 14.1 directly?
I didn't install CM into my sony myself. I never install custom ROM before. I've just downloaded [ROM][FINAL][7.1.1] CyanogenMod 14.1 for Xperia Z by Chippa_a. Is it ok if I update my CM 12.1 to 14.1 through CM recovery's "Update" options?
Hi, this is not possible.
Please flash proper recovery + Clean flash / Wipe + Format Data to stay away from unwanted bugs and mess.
Thanks!
Hi Daedroza, thanks for helping me out. Can you share me a single link for full installation. I have official CM 12.1.
